Very easy to do and prompt pick up

I have only had great experiences when dealing with Americord. I had a few questions right after my daughter was born and I didn't have to wait long to speak with someone and he was very helpful and friendly.

I did shop around and I can say that americord's prices are competitive and I like the fact (as I was told) that I can change to a public registry anytime should I feel I don't need the stem cells. That was a plus for me because I had spoken with another company that said they didn't allow that. In fact they said the law does not allow that. But Americord said otherwise (I hope they are right). Thank you Americord!

Americord was so helpful and easy to follow and work with! We are very happy that we decided to store our baby's cord blood with them!

I am not sure if the amount I spent is worth it.

We had a great experience with both the customer service and payment aspect of Americord. We gave birth at a birthing center that had spotty cellphone reception. The person who came to pick up our daughter's cord blood patiently waited outside in their car (in the middle of winter) for over 30 minutes before my husband received their message. I couldn't believe it and was so gracious for their patience and understanding. We unexpectedly got pregnant while both my husband and I were in professional school so money was tight. We were able to stretch out our payments instead of paying one lump sum. My husband's side of the family has a high risk of adolescent cancer so it was incredibly important to us that we preserve our daughter's cord blood in case the worst occurred. Americord absolutely made that possible us.

Using Americord was so easy and we are secure in the knowledge that we have provided a safety net for our son should he ever need it.

Service with the direct company was very good!! They took their time to explain the details. Overall I can recommend Americordblood. Great price comparing to what is offer out there. But the pick up service was not that good, the representative took hours in appear. A lady came to my room with no identification saying she was the mother of the person who was supposed to pick up my baby's kit, I guess she had an inconvenient and sent her mother. I had to ask many questions to see if this was the people responsible of Americorblood kit transportation. I was very worried first of all to give them our kit and second that they will take this serious enough and that my baby's kit would be at the mail on time. Please make sure this don't happen to any other Mom. Thanks

The birth of a baby is certainly not a stress free time, and the last thing anyone wants to worry about is dealing with crappy customer service with a baby one hour old. Every single person at the company congratulated us on the pregnancy/birth, and (one of the few) things I didn't have to worry about one bit was the cord blood situation.

I highly recommend this company.

My experience with Americord was fantastic! From the reps I spoke with on the phone, setting up and scheduling the collection, ease of collection directions, and the speed of transporting the cord blood and cord tissue. It was an extremely smooth process. Americord took care of everything! I would highly recommend Americord when choosing a company to safely collect, process and store your precious cord blood and tissue!

The price is the most competitive for a reputable company recommended by What to Expect, customer service was excellent, and transaction was easy peasy.

What an amazing company. I had someone call me or read out to me every step of the way. I went into labor early and they sent a kit right to my hospital bed so I could still bank. God bless you Americord!

We chose to use Americord because they had the best price, it was very easy to use. We received a kit in the mail and brought it with us to the hospital. The Dr. reviewed the instructions and commented on how clear the instructions were. We called the number provided and a few hours later they came to receive the cord blood and sent us a confirmation. I would definitely use this company again.
