People was extremely nice at the phone but they came 16 hours late to pick up the cord, placenta, etc. (not within six hours after delivery as promised) and we did not had news of them for a month.

Easy peasy!

Americord made our experience super easy and drama free. From the payment plan to the actual box that had step by step instructuons to mailing the prepaid box. Everything was professional and simple.

Dropoff after sale

Signing up and paying has been easy, but I have tried several times to log into some sort of Customer Portal and can't find anything. Nothing in our monthly emails, nothing on the site itself. And we are even looking to pay everything off immediately! Besides that a smooth process.

Great experience

Obviously the whole Blood Banking process is a new one for most people and Americord made it very simple and easy. They are great to work with and are always very helpful

Wonderful experience

Everyone was very informative and kind. The pickup was easy and very fast.
The only negatives where that the pack was confusing to my medical team (bring it into your doctor prior so they can get a good handle on their part).
I am so great full that I have a chance to protect my child in the future. Just wish it wasn't so expensive but well worth it.

Simply Amazing

From the customer service to the people to the process, simply awesome. They held my hand the whole time, answered all my questions, and got the kit to my bed in under an HOUR! Incredible.

Easy and Trusted

Easy collection and delivery! Loved the one time fee and the back up plan if something were to ever happen to the company, the stored cord blood would be transferred to another company.

Great service - Perfect experience

I did a lot of research on the topic of cord blood and tissue storage, and I like Americord for several reasons. Their up-front price was a big benefit (rather than 20 years of payments later) and their emerging technology was amazing. Everything from then on went great - from ordering to receiving my kit and having it picked up by courier after. Did you know they'll even have an Uber drive a kit over to you at the hospital if go into labor unexpectedly without your collection kit? I thought that was great too. Overall, my husband and I are very happy we chose them, and we would recommend them to anyone else.

Seamless

Very happy from the first time I called to speak with a rep to the successful banking of our granddaughters cord blood and tissue. Jas was so very friendly and knowledgable. The pickup from the hospital was timely and more than the average amount of cells were collected. Couldn't have asked for more! We have decided to do this as a gift to our future grandchildren also. What better life insurance could there be???

best price around

I didn't really know what I was supposed to do but the kit had very detailed instructions. The staff at the hospital read through it and took care of all of it. We did have some confusion with the pick up by the currier service, but it was picked up within the time frame.

Aftermath

I think I completed the cord blood process correctly with Americordblood, but after the birth of my daughter in June 2013, I never heard anything from them again, so I'm not sure if I even have any tie to this company, or if my daughter's cord blood was stored.

I see from our records that we sent you a Certificate of Storage on June 23, 2013, and I can personally confirm your daughter's stem cells have in fact been stored with us. Further, we are launching a client portal and improving and increasing the frequency of our post-birth communications with clients as a result of your feedback. Good Company

Very happy with their service. Had a lot of questions which their reps took the time to answer. I appreciate that. Quick to respond to inquiries. Our baby came one month early and we had our kit because they knew that this sometimes happens and they made sure to send it early. Directions were easy.
