We received our 16x10 foot pergola in October 2015. My friend and I erected it in a little less than a day and a half.

Great quality, easy directions to follow. We love the addition to our patio.

We were very pleased with the 12 foot Gazebo In a Box that we recently received and have installed. The delivery was perfect with the driver, Gary, being on time and delivered the pallet exactly where we wanted it. The instructions to assemble were very east to follow. All the parts were on the pallet and in excellent sanded condition. The only things that I would suggest be improved is the layout for concrete piers is not accurate. I made the template exactly as specified and the piers fall partially outside the frame. We also were about 5 to 6 shingles short. From a design standpoint,, it would be better if the roof extended about 3 more inches so that the rain does not drip on the edge of the deck platform that we purchased with the gazebo. The gazebo looks great and we could not be more pleased with the purchase.

Exactly what I ordered, more beautiful than I even imagined! Mel was very patient with me on the telephone, too. The delivery came at the exact time, the men who assembled the gazebo were friendly, courteous and focused on doing a good job - very professional!
I love spending time in my gazebo; it is my favorite place to "be".

Order taken efficiently. Answered all questions. Gazebo came wrapped in the most efficient way I have ever seen. Manual was excellent. Everything was as it should have been. We hired two builders to construct as we aren't good at this kind of matter. The builders were very impressed with the package; the way everything fit together and the final product, which they deemed "substantial". Our gazebo is in our woods and we can see it from the highway and our French doors. A source of compliments and great delight to us.

I would suggest that you have professional help to put it together...my husband and I are 76 years old, it was a challenge, but we finally got it together.

Exactly what they said it was!

The final product is a beautiful gazebo that will last for years to come. However it was not easy. I decided to do it myself with help from my stepfather. (Risky at times with just two people especially in constructing the roof) The estimate on constructing the gazebo by (ACG) was for 2-3 full days. Well it toke me about 8-10 full days. I had no prior experience and barely knew the basics. It was very frustrating at times and had to undo certain parts once constructed. Especially the handrail and upper Rail sections because buckling was very noticeable. Screws 2 1/2" I think were too long in fastening upper rail end cap and standard brace causing the screw to pierce the standard brace. Instructions for applying the shingles to the roof was very brief and not very helpful. Needed more pictures and explained in laymans' term for better understanding.The help for installation was available via phone however just during the week and during the day time. Most of my time available to work on the gazebo was in the evenings after work or on the weekend. So the installation help was minimal. They were helpful with parts missing and sent them immediately. When I was able to reach them on my day off from work during the week, the technicians were only able to help a little as they explained it the same way it was written. They were however very courteous and tried to help as much as they can. In closing, If you have lots of patience and time or experienced with construction you may want to try and construct this yourself. If not I would hire someone. I like the warranty, the company and the final product is fantastic however constructing it myself was very frustrating at times. If the instructions were better detailed and installation service available on the off hours I would give this a 5 star.

Good product, superb installation.

The product is of outstanding quality. I have never seen a better pergola! The delivery service was exemplary and the friendliness heartwarming. Pieces were missing from the kit but shipped overnight so the contractor only had to delay installation 5 days.

I have nothing but praise for the Amish Country Gazebo company. Everyone was extremely helpful from placing our order to any questions we had with installation. I would highly recommend them for anyone considering putting up a gazebo. My husband alone put it up except for the roof which he had two friends help him. We know we will love and enjoy our gazebo for many years!! Thank you to everyone that helped us especially Julie, Mel and Tom who delivered!

Right from the get go my experience was very good. I have been looking into a gazebo or pergola for 2 years. When I finally made up my mind I went with the pergola. The salesman explained all the details and sent out a diagram so I knew where the posts would land on the new deck. My concern was high winds damaging the pergola, but with the diagram I was able to reinforce the underside of the deck area. After all that I also explained to the salesman that I would need the pergola brought up my lawn / driveway to a gate near where the pergola would be built. My parking area is about 85 feet from the house. He assured me that the delivery truck would have a forklift that would easily come up the lawn. I had just had my decking delivered and they were able to drop the load off right at the gate. My deck is 20 by 20, so I knew if they could do it then the pergola wouldn't be a problem. All was set to be delivered around the 15th of Sept. About Sept 1st I received a call about the delivery being moved up to Sept 3rd because the truck would be up this way. That was fine because my crew wouldn't be available until the weekend. Larry Martin called early the next day and advised he could drop it off late that afternoon. Again not a problem. When he arrived, the pergola was on a flatbed and he wanted to drop it off curbside. I told him that wasn't the deal because I couldn't get the pergola up the lawn. He said he didn't know anything about a fork lift, but he would try to back the flatbed up as far as he could. He did just that and dropped the load about 20 feet from the gate area. Problem was his flatbed dug up the lawn and his duely wheels dug holes trying to force the flatbed. I didn't need the extra work of filling holes with sod and re-seeding.
Overall the pergola went together as advertised and looks beautiful. If the rating system was 1 thru 10, then it would be a 9. My only suggestion would be to write on the delivery slip any changes to a normal delivery. I think up a dirt/lawn driveway by forklift would not be normal.

My customer at the last minute wanted to change canopy colors. While changes are not recommended during production. Leon worked hard to make every effort to make this change happen. Great Service!

just love my gazebo,a little pricey BUT a beauty

First, the template was very warped and we resorted to construction tools in order to ensure that the posts were set squarely. People with no construction knowledge/tools would have a problem getting the posts set properly. Upon unwrapping the rails, there was water inside the plastic wrapping and when the rails dried out several of them warped. I do not believe that this gazebo was made from kiln-dried lumber as stated. The paint job is not satisfactory, paint is missing in area of upper braces and on the ceiling T&G. The fascia boards do not match up very well and we believe that one of the roof panels was misnumbered. The number on one of them was crossed out and renumbered. The nails provided for the roofing material were not all the same size (supposed to be 3/4") and the first few nails we used came through the ceiling. The packages of nails contained various sizes from 3/4" to 1 1/4". Luckily we noticed this before we used many of them. I had to purchase 3/4" nails from Home Depot to complete the roofing installation. We have not installed the screen package yet and hope that we do not encounter any more problems. Instructions need to be updated and clearer photos included. I have photos of the items mentioned above. If the company wants to contact me I can email them. The finished product looks nice but not what we expected for the price. I would not recommend this company to my friends.

Our gazebo was expertly constructed of the finest materials and delivered and installed by a well-trained and highly competent crew. We have been very impressed and are highly satisfied!

I was looking for a pergola for our deck area and was putting it close to crank out windows they worked with me on measurement's for it and came out perfect. I also put it up myself and was the easiest thing to do. Theses guys make a great product I would and do recommend this company to anyone.

Friends came to enjoy our new deck with pergola and this was their comment: "This is one classy pergola!" From the first online discovery to the last board put in place, this pergola is the one of our dreams. The order was placed after all questions were answered, delivery was explained and occurred exactly as we were told, complete with a detailed instruction book, available both online and at the time of delivery. No parts had to be replaced or reordered; everything fit, and it went together as described. It fits our deck perfectly, and we are enjoying relaxing sunny afternoon beneath its classic charms.
We would suggest some more efficient way to raise the posts to a vertical position, since they are rather heavy.

We were so excited to get our new gazebo underway. The folks on the design and payment ends had been so wonderfully helpful and professional, so when the truck pulled into the driveway right on time, it was just another good omen.
It was a terribly hot day, but these guys worked steadily to finish the assembly process in great time. They were courteous and cleaned up the work site nicely.
Every person who has seen our finished gazebo has exclaimed about the beautiful workmanship, the quality wood that was used, and how it is nicer than anything they could have imagined.
We are thrilled.
