Brilliant service throughout the project. Very adaptable and worked hard to achieve our dream. We love our new Garden Room. Excellent communication especially as we navigated the planning process. We were in safe hands. We wholeheartedly recommend Ark Design Build to anyone considering a Garden Room or similar project.

Ark have created an amazing bespoke Garden Room for The Richmond Charities for our elderly residents to use for social activities. The quality of the build is first class and Tim and his team were so easy to deal with and willing to go the extra mile to make sure the room was exactly as we wanted it to be. I highly recommend Ark.

Ark have designed and built a substantial and unique terrace made with composite decking for us. We are extremely pleased with the result and the entire project. Their attention to detail is outstanding, every screw and cut is carefully considered to ensure the final build is perfect. This was a unique and bespoke project which could have been very challenging and they have made a stunning job of it. As well as being technically highly competent, they are reliable and extremely tidy. At the end of each day the site was immaculate. I would have no hesitation in recommending Tim and Piers for any outdoor building project. We are delighted.

I am absolutely delighted with my new garden room created by Ark design/ build! They were fantastic from start to finish, I had confidence in them from the first time they viewed the site, they have great technical knowledge and experience and the whole job went very smoothly. Despite the site not being very big Ark managed to create a custom built design to use all available space. They are the most tidy and considerate builders I have ever experienced so there was almost no disruption to us at any time during the build. The garden room was on time, on budget and is even better than expected. Having this extra space has transformed my life as I now have my own space to work in. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Ark.

We contacted Tim after some searching for garden rooms online. From initial contact to the completed project Tim and Piers were completely professional with a great attitude throughout. Communication was excellent, delivering what was promised every time. The build itself was well planned and executed, in all weather's, and the final result is a very high quality garden office which we are delighted with. We would recommend Ark design/build to anyone without hesitation and hope to use their services again in the future.

I can’t recommend Piers and Tim highly enough! They were an absolute pleasure to work with - polite, friendly and calm. Nothing was too much trouble and they were completely unflappable. They dealt with our various changes and requests and questions with utmost patience and accommodated everything we wanted. They worked through absolutely filthy weather - freezing rain and wind and never complained. They ran completely on time with no delays. I haven’t even got to the finished product which is just superb. We have a stunning garden office with storage, it’s everything we could have asked for and has transformed our garden.

Tim and Piers at Ark Design & Build were a joy to work with. They are both knowledgeable and skilled craftsman, with high standards and attention to detail. Everything ran to schedule and nothing was too much trouble, always offering solutions and ideas. They have been by far the best build experience we’ve had. I can't recommend this company enough. Having thoroughly researched all our options when it came to the design and build of our garden room/office, there was no competition when it came to deciding which company to use. Directors Piers and Tim had a thoroughly professional approach from start to finish.

Their design ideas were fresh, the quality of the build is fantastic, they were a pleasure to have on site and there was no hidden costs at any stage. I even caught them hoovering the grass on the last day so as not to leave any unwanted mess!

Don't be put off if you have to wait before they can fit your project in. These guys know what they are doing and you will come away with a beautiful building that will serve you well for years to come.

We used to Ark to build a small garden office. They were extremely helpful and professional at all stages. The quote was prompt and detailed. The build ran on schedule with minimal disruption. Most of the time it was just the two directors of the company onsite. The finished build quality is excellent and looks really first class. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Top service.

Ark Design provided a non-slip rubber floor around our indoor swimming pool at our holiday park undertaken to a fairly tight timetable. We found them very polite, friendly and helpful. All in all a job well done and made a massive difference in safety and appearance.

I was kept up to date with the state of the build and even offered suggestions that solved a few issues I hadn't thought of initially.

I had spent a long time researching companies who built garden rooms to find the right one for me and my family, but still was unsure about the big company approach that seemed to be out there.
It was by chance that I learnt about Arkdesign through Instagram.
A site visit was booked and I met with Tim for the first time and immediately I felt reassured and loved their approach, especially knowing that it would be just Tim and his partner Piers on site most days.
They are committed, enthusiastic, show excellent customer care and are generally all round nice guys! The final results are very impressive. I am very happy and am looking forward to enjoying my garden room for years to come. 100% recommend them!

Ark Design/Build erected our new pool enclosure quickly and efficiently despite dreadful weather - It was raining stair rods throughout the installation! There was one potentially serious problem, the supplier's lorry didn't deliver all the right parts (a key roof element was missing), but the team went out of their way to resolve the issue by driving across country to get the right bits and finish on time. Full marks for salvaging a difficult situation caused by others, without complaining or making a fuss.

We were fortunate to have the Ark Design and Build team erect and install our Galaxy swimming pool enclosure. The enclosure is 11 metres by 7 metres by 2.4 metres high and is to span our 8 meter x 4 metre small pool. Not only was a first class job done in the erection of the enclosure, but so also was the logistical precision of the undertaking. The day before the installation; platforms and trellises where delivered and placed considerately on the drive. At 09:00 the following day the team arrived, having travelled up from Kent in readiness for the Galaxy delivery which arrived at 09:30. They unloaded all the parts and checked each for signs of damage and the consignment for completeness. They then checked with us to determine exactly where we wanted it located in respect to the pool. After a short discussion we agreed the Galaxy enclosure would be fitted such that the pool was biased to the top left-hand corner. They then set about the installation. During this time a skip was delivered. Once the job was complete they demonstrated how panels were opened and closed as well as the child-safe sliding door lock operation. All packaging was placed in the skip (which was collected later that day) and platforms and trellises stacked neatly for collection. All three members of the team were polite and considerate throughout. As an ex RAF Chief Technician I was most impressed with the logistics of the undertaking and the technical standard of the installation. I would not hesitate to recommend this team for this type or similar undertakings.
