Appalling product not fit for purpose

Appalling product not fit for purpose!
Bought 5 boxes in total of fluid art acrylic sets after seeing fellow professional artists using them on YouTube videos and on their social media sites.
Within a few months the colours have faded dramatically, responding to light like a cheap school paint not anything any artist would use and given the price they’re not cheap either. Fade happened despite the application of a professional varnish protection spray (NO advice or instructions on this on the product information by Arteza & they do not even sell any protective varnish either), the neon blue is now a sludgy grey.
Embarrassingly I now have to withdraw some of my fluid art paintings from sale online and in galleries my work is with. Damaging to my reputation and embarrassing.
Just to add insult to injury Arteza refuse to even refund for the paint as it was bought over 30 days ago but less than 6 months ago. A store credit was offered, I cannot use any of the products because they are not to professional standard. Would have accepted a refund, now will seek advice to take this matter further as it is costing me dearly.
Do not use these products unless you are prepared for serious light damage in a short amount of time.

I`m having trouble believing the 1-star…

I`m having trouble believing the 1-star reviews. I found the company by a random search for acrylic paint a few days ago, I`ve never heard of them before. I found the paint bundle I was interested in, but first looked up the reviews on them. Due to the many negative reviews here, I got concerned. Ther is a 24/7 chat option on their page, I didn`t really think it meant that there is live support 24/7, I thought customers can send messages any time and they`ll get back to you. Wrong. Justin M answered in a few seconds, it was about 5 to midnight in the UK (probably the chat was supperted by the US team). I asked him about the stock of the paints and delivery time, he was very polite (one of the most polite customer service agents I`ve ever dealt with) and answered everything. Just about 2 minutes before midnight, on 3 Sep I submitted the order. Justin said there are issues due to the pandemic, so their delivery is now around 3-7 working days, for the lucky ones, 3-5. Well, again the order was submitted around 23:58 on the 3rd - and I just collected it from my doorstep where the currier left it 10 min ago, on the 5th of Sept - so from submitting the order and collecting the delivery it had been less than 40 hours. It is the exact box I ordered, looks and feels very good quality. I`m now curious, how long does it take to deliver if there is no pandemic, causing issues :D I`m truly amazed, both by the company and Justin, and I`ll definitely return for more stuff. This is the worst company I have ever…

This is the worst company I have ever tried to order products from. They send countless just emails with one important one tucked it. They don't read the emails before cancelling your order. For some reason they need to verify countless times before your order is summited. Here's an idea tell people to expect confirmations so we know to look for them. And how about keeping your promises. Who could be loyal to you. You make it to hard. Obviously convenience wasn't part of your business plan

There isn’t a better company for art supplies & customer service

Bought my pack of 60 acrylic premium paints and 14 acrylic premium paints September of 2019, and the lids of a couple of my 60 set paints popped open at the top, as well as 1 of the set of 14 having a broken neck, meaning the paint was dried and I couldn’t use it,
So,
I contacted arteza simply asking for replacement lids if possible and a tube of the premium silver paint to replace the one with a broken neck, I didn’t need paint replacing, just had some lid malfunctions....
They have only gone and replaced both sets COMPLETELY, and all they asked for AFTER replacing my paints “For free” was that I send a picture of the faults to deal with the issue I had, and consider gifting the paints that were replaced to a hospital, shelter, school or other artist in need to use (great idea in my opinion),

I love the paint Quality anyway, I have had a year to test and experience what the paint can do for me and it is unbelievably great for the price I paid, and the customer service on top makes the experience better!

I will not be shopping for my art supplies anywhere else from now on, the quality, and the knowledge that customer service is great at what they do, makes me feel like my investment is always worth while!

Pre mixed Pouring Acrylic Paint set

I received my Pouring Acrylic Paint, 60ml Bottles - Set of 32 today, it arrived very quickly, but the reason I have given two stars is due to the fact that I was told by a couple of the chat assistants yesterday before placing the order that these paints produce great cells. This is a very important feature of pour work, especially if wanting to sell them. I have to say that I am so disappointed, because guess what...not one cell!! I tried on several canvases, but nothing. No wonder the review photos didn't show any cells, but they were sent by people using them as a hobby, or for their kids. ADVICE: DO NOT BUY THESE IF YOU WANT CELLS IN YOUR POURS! The chat assistant today was very helpful, and sorted my refund straight away. He told me that they need more training so that they know about the products being sold!! It is so bad really, but good they refund a product that was not as expected.

I never got my package after a few months...

I tried ordering from Arteza for the first time because I've heard great things about it. When I ordered several art supplies and it never came, I thought it was due to delays so I decided to wait. After awhile, I tried calling but at the time they said they were closed. I was honestly upset because I just spent about $60 and I thought I just got scammed. I didn't try calling again and I'll admit I should have but I just wanted to give them time to get things sorted during this whole pandemic. Despite that, I will still give them two stars and just order from other places in the future.

I've bought from this company twice and the service and quality of the products is excellent. This time, I made a silly mistake while ordering, which was sorted out efficiently by Jessica C in an online chat. I will definitely be buying from Arteza in the future.

I ordered a 48 set of Expert colouring…

I ordered a 48 set of Expert colouring pencils via Amazon,when received there was a duplicate pencil so missing a colour. I emailed to ask if I could get a replacement pencil but they very kindly sent me a new set. Unfortunately this set had the same issue as before so queried again. They have said they will send out another set so hopefully when this arrives it will be correct. I love the pencils they are really good but I don't need another set so will probably make do if it's wrong this time.
Great service given and great pencils so definitely worth ordering but be prepared.

Terrible service - UPDATE

I ordered the brush pens in Early March for my daughter’s birthday in July. They never arrived by April and I had a quick response and apology, upgrading me to a larger pack for the same price. Great service, I thought. But nothing has ever arrived. I have spoken to them several times and each time assured that it’s waiting for restock and will be two more weeks - nothing. Today I went to chase it again and found my account has vanished.

UPDATE - June 2020

After reading my review I received an email from Arteza who apologised and sent out a replacement immediately. I was able to track it and it arrived via amazon.

This is great service but I did speak to several people who kept informing me that it was being restocked - it was sent out very quickly once a public review was made.

As a result I’ve revised my review up from 1 to 3

Avoid

Avoid. This company is a mess, you give them the right address and they send your order to a different country.Twice! Customer service is trying to put the blame on you. At least my refund is in progress, hopefully it will show on my bank account.

The never arriving paint set...

Ordered a gouache paint set. A month later no paint set, emailed and got a friendly response apologising that there had been a dispatch error and another set would be sent accordingly. A few weeks later still no paint set, had to email again, only this time the item has sold out. Urgh, frustrating and unnecessary disorganised.

Heard good things about the product and company so very disappointed.

Still get bombarded with discounts and offers from Arteza which makes me seethe with anger!

Package delivered twice to a wrong random destination

My wife placed an order to be delivered to south west of England and the package was delivered to Scotland. So she contacted customer service, explained and provided the right address. Then we had a notification saying the package had been delivered (second time) and it shows Scotland again! How great attention to detail and communication?! Bad.

dont even bother with “expedited shipping”

When you pay for expedited shipping you get ur package with regular/slow shipping speed. I ordered sketchbooks a week ago expecting them to be here in 1-3 Business days, for a bday present for someone. And they have yet to come. Dont make people pay 5 bucks for literally nothing come on guys .

This company is amazing

Ordered two items from this company and had a very small issue with one of the items. Arteza got back to me within a couple of hours and have sent a replacement which I really appreciate. I will continue to order any art supplies from Arteza as their customer service is 10/10!

They will take your money and deliver nothing

I ordered some sketchbooks at the end of March spending about £40, I received pretty much no communication about it or whether it had been dispatched. Figured it was because of the pandemic so I gave it 3/4 weeks and then finally got in touch to ask where my order is. I was apologised to and politely told they were on their way but not told when they would arrive (clearly they had no idea). I waited another 2 weeks and still nothing I checked the order tracker and one item had said it had been delivered at 12:12am which is obviously a complete lie and then the other had been dispatched in early April and then just nothing had happened. I complained about this and asked for a refund the next day I was sent an email saying a full refund had been issued. It has been 8 days and I still haven't received any money, if I don't recieve my money back I will be taking it further.

Incredible product and superb customer service

I recently bought my first set of arteza professional coloured pencils and was blown away by them, I like them as much as my Faber Castell and Caran d'ache pencils which come in at a lot more £££. Arteza are excellent quality and my now go to pencil with a beautiful range of colours. I recently ordered the 120 set (can never have too many sets 🤷‍♀️) and was missing a colour with a duplicate of my absolute nemesis colour! I contacted arteza via email to see if I could purchase the missing colour and was told unfortunately not. Arteza are however sending me out a new set of 48 pencils with the colour I need in once back in stock... how is that for customer service!

Let down

I waited such a long time for the items I ordered to arrive, only to enquire about them and be told that they were ‘undeliverable’ and have made their way back to Arteza.
I’m really unsure on if I was ever going to find this information out if I hadn’t decided to chase this up myself.

At the time I placed my order there was no indications that the item I have ordered is low in stock or not in stock, so naturally I expected I would receive the things I payed for.
Only when I contacted customer service, was I told that they’re now out of stock, and I’ll have to wait another 2 weeks for a restock before they can post any more. So what about the paints that were ‘undeliverable’ and sent back to you? The ones I should own because I payed for them?

Just seemed a bit suspicious to me, so I asked for a refund instead.
