Quality of the car was good and clean. The only negative experience we had was the long waiting at the desk at the airport to get our car. It took a long time, at least half an our (in the sun) to be served.

I strongly advise against using Autovia at Catania Airport. The employee lashed out at us over a simple and reasonable question.
When returning our rental car, the employee showed us a tablet screen containing no visible text, only signature fields, and asked my husband to sign it to confirm the vehicle's return. After signing, he was immediately asked to sign again. Naturally, we wanted to understand what he was signing and why multiple signatures were required. We asked whether he was repeatedly signing the same return confirmation or whether these were different documents, and if so, what they were.
Instead of providing a clear explanation, the employee immediately became impatient and lashed out at us, saying: "I do not know why the system wants you to sign so often. When you sign a contract on paper, you also have to sign multiple times."
To make matters worse, he then began mockingly imitating the way my husband was signing on the tablet, as if he were doing something wrong. His behavior was childish, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate.
I could no longer tolerate his disrespectful attitude and repeatedly told him that there was no need to speak to customers in such a manner. I asked him to stop lashing out at us and simply explain the process professionally and respectfully. Instead of de-escalating the situation, he became even more verbally aggressive.
We stated that we have every right to understand what we are being asked to sign. Being unable to explain the process on his own tablet and then responding with hostility toward customers rather than providing clarification is unacceptable.
I was genuinely shocked by this employee's lack of competence, professionalism, and respect. What was even more astonishing was that his colleagues stood by and watched him verbally attack us without intervening. It gave us the impression that this type of behavior is tolerated or perhaps even considered normal within this company: using aggression to cover up for incompetence.
As if the unacceptable return experience were not bad enough, the problems began when we picked up the vehicle. The car was handed over to us in a dirty condition, and the fuel tank was not full as stated.
One star is actually too generous for this company.

Very late check-in, good job. One problem, for conformation if it was possible to pick the car up at 23:30 it was impossible to reach some one at the office. One the webside it said the office would close at 23:00. I had to call Ryan air and some head office who did send a mail for me (without respons by the way). Make it better to reach the office please. Still good experiance.

Unless we had problems with the travelagency because of changing the date of renting, your company was helpful.
The lady at the desk was very friendly, patient, gives good advise and was helpfull to find a good solution for us.
And we were happy.

She also gave us great recommendations about where to go, what to see, and even suggestions on where to stay, which made our trip even more special.

Given a battered car with an engine that groaned on every acceleration. Didn't take out extra insurance, on return the agent immediately located a "new" scratch. Given the car had 20+ dents it's amazing how quickly this was identified and a small paintwork scratched charged at EUR230. A scratch that will not be fixed, of course. I realise these agents are on commission and need to make up the lost sale. This is standard practice south of Florence and gets worse the further south you go. They treat customers' time with utter disrespect in terms of the aggravation in form filling for me to reclaim the money off my own insurance. And appear more than happy to defraud insurance companies; what surprises me is that insurance companies do not make more effort to recover such charges.

Picking up the car was easy and efficient. The vehicle was quite new, well equipped, and in good condition. The return process was very smooth, and within just 10 minutes I had already received an email confirming that the car had been properly returned.
The only aspect that could have been improved was the cleanliness of the car at pickup — it could have been a bit cleaner.
What I particularly appreciated was that, during the check-in process, the friendly employee proactively informed me that no additional insurance coverage was necessary, as I had already booked a comprehensive package through a third-party provider.
