We rented a car with Autovia at the start of March in Catania and since then they have refused to return our deposit money for the car! They signed off the vehicle as having no issues when we bought it back. Since then, they are refusing to return our calls, respond to our emails, and give us back our €500 deposit. I would be wary when hiring a car with this company as they will just ghost you after as they have done with us!

I had a bad experience with this rental company. They took 3 months to issue an email with a fine which you have been taken during your trip. They charge you extra with 60 euros because they forward and process the fine received from the Italy autorities. For me 60 euro means a lot for this.
Italy autorities issued the fine in 23th of august and they sent me the verbal process in 16th of November. First of all they charged myself with 60 euro from my bank account and after that they have informed me about this amount which is not a fair way

Even one star is too much. Awefull experience with this rental. We were delayed and all our calls got declined. We had to accept an upgrade to get a car. This would cost us extra money and we could not get the car we rented at the start. We had to sign a contract without seeing the actual terms. This was weird and after we wanted to see the terms our booking got canceled. We have never received the money back. Avoid this company if you can.

We had a nearly perfect experience there. We only had to wait 2-3 minutes and were perfectly guided by a absolutely friendly employee. We also received a higher class then our booked car. The pickup was very quick and easy same as the drop off. Next time we'll be there again! Thank you.

Never again ! We had to pay extra 178 euro before we could get the car we already paid insurance on from home. Very bad service and no help from the staff - the couldnt Care less - so never again !!!!

The picking up and dropping off the car was easy and fast. And the car itself also was comfortable

Helpful staff, quick pick-up (eventhough it was peak season) and fast and efficient drop off. Car was clean and in great condition.

We did not received the car with the price that we make the booking. Your colege told us that we have to pay with 60% more than we booked.

The car was fine. Service was mwah. Line for the pick-up was 30 min. Our car wasn’t filled up with benzine. The front desk did not inform us about this. And after they hand you the keys , there is not really a possibility to speak to them again. So be aware if your tank isn’t full, don’t fill it up. You don’t have to, but they won’t tell you don’t have to upfront. In your contract it says to fill it up. Otherwise they will charge you. If you ask for a refund for the benize. They say no. That’s on you! So customer service is poor when you pick up the car and when you hand it in. Read the fine print and ask question if you have them. Take pictures of the check-out form. They don’t do receipts. I’ve learned my lesson. Don’t know if I’ll book through them again. If they can make extra money, they will and they do not care.

The car was clean and worked perfectly. The staff was nice and helpful.

The car was exactly what we order. The waiting time to pick up the car was a bit long, but not excessive.

The man at the Autovia Trapani Airport Sicily was extremely unhelpful, would not speak to his boss or give his name. Denied he had our booking and when spoke to our UK representative he was rude.

Great service from Autovia in Catania Airport. The car was in great condition, clean and spacious. Very satisfying price as well.

Awful. They tried to scam us the minute that we arrived. That we should book a bigger car because our car (Citroen C3) only had a range of 97km and for 60 euro more we had one with normal range. Seriously 🙈 very unfriendly guy! We decided to stick with the Citroen and guess what it was just a normal car with a normal range. He was’t even walking with is to our car to check everything. Luckily i made pictures of everything beforehand!

The guy at the desk was very nice, suggested to upgrade my car in low cost. the car was new and clean,
the guy at the return spot was nice and service oriented.
