I booked a 500c car in Fiumicino everything went smoothly until I returned the car at 6 am.

I was told to leave the key in the designated box near the office because the office opens at 8 am.

After 3 days they sent me 700€ in invoice to pay for a 'broken glass'.

They provide 3 pictures:
- the first was the plate of the car, which was right
- the other 2 with broken glass, without any recognisable sign that belongs to the car, or any other car model.

They asked me how I wanted to pay with an automated email, I answered via transfer after having more proof of the damage, which I didn't make, btw.

They charged me the pre-auth of 500€

Never answered.

Only Fiumicino's office answered saying: 'we don't speak with the complaints office, you should pay us'

I'm pretty sure they will answer a judge with charges of fraud.

We arrived late due to fog at Leeds Airport but the car was still available and the service was excellent. The young man was very helpful and friendly.

This review is for the Ecovia/Autovia at the FCO airport in Rome. It seems like a lot of the negative reviews may of been for another location. The Rome airport Autovia gave us good price on a very nice car for a 10 day rental. The staff was helpful and friendly. No high pressure to buy additional insurance coverage. No issues at all with the car. FYI:There is no rental desk in the terminal, you need to go to their office in the airport's parking garage. On returning the car, the office was closed when we dropped the car off early in the morning. No problem. We just left the car keys in the drop-box. The whole rental experience was very positive. Thank you FCO Autovia / Ecovia!

The car was defective!
It was SUPER loud inside, and it was making "DUM DUM DUM" sound.
Specially I had to go to Perugia from Orvieto to your car service, where the car was fixed.
I took me whole day.

I didn't get any refund and no answer from autovia.
Autovia is very unprofessional service.

Old and dirty car. Also judged upon some damages not accounted for in the forms. God bless I took pictures and videos when I received the car!

My wife and myself had a really nice experience with you company. We had somebody very professional and not pushy on the extras.
Also it was a little bit challenging to find the rental office. Complementary information shared in advance would have helped.

Booking made with Ecovia so some confusion when trying to find the rental desk (new name) but no queue so all was fine. Easy pick-up and return with no quibbling over existing damage. Only issue was the lack of range as it was a dual fuel car (petrol and CNG) with only 120 mile range with petrol (we never found a garage selling CNG).

Everything went well, pick up and drop off were very smooth. It is definietly NOT one of those scammer rental companies. Overall very positive experience. Can really recommend.

The entire experience was good. The only thing that I would change, is the return process. When you are coming back, it is not clear that the entrance for return is the same as the other company. Your sign is not visible. After was pointed out by one of your employees, I saw it. When you drive in, it's not noticeable.

Really good service. No wait on arrival, good car, deposit refunded quickly.

The baby seat (0-12 months) we reserved was not available and the customer service almost mocked us that we were not willing to use the child seat he offered instead (1 year and older). A four months baby cannot sit upright. We still had to pay for the child seat.

We had a fantastic experience. Super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Car was spotless and exactly what we reserved. Faultless experience - will be back.

First and foremost, the staff at FCO was great. However, it took until the third car - and an hour+ later - to finally be on our way. The first two cars had issues. The third car we got was fine but worked on unleaded and methane. Without the methane (hard to find stations), the driving range on just unleaded gas was short. This was our second experience with Autovia (first was November 2021). We are unlikely to use them again.

I would have given 5/5 but -
- the Autovia office was hard to find but we did eventually find it on the 4th floor.
- on returning the car we could not access the area on the 4th floor next to your office and had to park on double yellow lines.
The car (Fiat Panda) was excellent - an efficient aircon and very economical with fuel.
I would use you again!

Horrible service from the agent; zero, no effort at all to help or provide additional information. We tried to upgrade for an alternate car just to realize that the car was in horrible shape - our agent never refunded the difference once we reverted to original reservation.
No issue with the car but the way the agent helped us .... we will probably never use it again

This was a new company I was using so was nervous at first...but I had a good experience and will use them again!

it's very difficult and time consuming to find the rental office. (it's in a parking house). More information on the arrival level was helpful
Otherwise all ok. Car and price flawless.
