Very disappointing. The car stunk of cigarette smoke and had 40,000 k on the clock . The drivers seat seemed to have collapsed and the interior was grubby . Moreover it wasn't the model ordered being materially larger than that I wanted which is important when driving in the narrow roads in italy.
The reception staff was apologetic but I was presented with a fait accompli . I have hired more cars than I can remember in my life fir both business and pleasure and without doubt this was the worse experience of hiring a car ever . Will not be using Autovia gain

The office was about a 5 minute walk from the arrivals hall. We were quickly helped by a friendly employee. We got a free upgrade to a new VW Tiguan. This car drove perfectly. Returning the car went smoothly too

Will use again. We have hired a car with Ecovia three times now and all have been very good.

I had a very good experience hiring a dual fuel Seat Leone.cost of methane fuel was much cheaper than petrol. When the indicator showed I am out of fuel it meant that I have done more than 400 kilometres so I refilled it at a petrol station with methane. The petrol tank stayed full and so petrol was not used in my four day hire of this car. Very excited to use methane gas fuel on a car for the first time

This company is a credit car fraud, be careful and never give them your credit card. The best is to completely avoid this company.

They have used my credit card to pay with it without my knowledge and authorization.

The car hire was OK, but what came afterwards was a nightmare. A half year after I brought back the car to them, I have received an e-mail that I have to pay a fine, because I drove into a restricted traffic area in Florence. The e-mail also said that I will have 360 days to pay and have the opportunity to discuss it with the local authority. I was happy to pay the fine though, because it was fair. However, I have accidentally noticed a day later that somebody had already paid the fine with my credit card that I used to pay for the car hire. I have contacted the company and they admitted that they stored my credit card data and made the payment without my authorization. They are referecing their terms and conditions - that I have never seen before - that they have the right to do so. I doubt it as it is against the law everywhere in the world to store credit card details and use these details to make payments without physically having the card or without the authorization of the owner of the card. If they want to get money from somebody, they have to use the legal ways: send an invoice to the customer or notify the legal bodies if the customer doesn't want to pay. But nobody has the right to steal money from anybody by using their credit card details.

If you are using this company, don't be surprised if your credit card is used for making payments without you knowing about it.

I had to cancel my credit card because of this company and had to report the case to the court. Hopefully, it won't happen to anybody else.

UPDATE:
Autovia is trying to remove this review. They have reported it to Trustpilot as a harmful review that contains defamation and bad language, therefore it was not visible on the page for many days. Probably, that's what they are doing to make their Trustpilot page look better than it should.

I haven't used any bad language in my review, provided them my real name and customer number so they can identify me and my case, and I haven't written any defamatory things, only the pure the facts. And I will continue sharing my experiences with this company to inform possible customers who can be the victim of credit card fraud. This is a very bad company to deal with, it is not safe to give them your credit card.

MESSAGE TO AUTOVIA:
I won't be tired to post the review again and again, every time you remove it. However, every time you remove it and I replace it, it will go to the top of the reviews, so this will be the first post everybody will see. Therefore, I recommend you to leave my review in place - you know the story is true -, and as the time goes it will be displayed on other pages. And just to let you know: because I am not amazed with your behaviour of trying to remove my (true and honest) reivew, I post it to other review sites, as well.
