We ordered a white board, it came within a couple of days and is of comparable quality to other boards we have that came from somewhere else.
What we like best about it was you can decide which way round you want to put up, one side was plain but the other side had lines already on the board to allow those that write on it to be able to write in a straight line. Good idea!
My board was as described and a good quality product. It was supposed to be next day delivery which didn't happen but the delay was short.

The board quality was good and as expected; was well packaged. Arrived about a day later than expected. I had trouble trying to track the delivery date.
Cannot comment on the quality of the boards. It is now Friday, i ordered on Wednesday for next day delivery and i am still waiting for my next day delivery. I have contacted them through the web site and delivery was going to be Friday. Having phoned to see where the delivery is they now say it will come on Monday. I have cancelled the order as this will be too late for our open days. Apparently, large orders are not delivered next day and this is in the small print somewhere and not plastered all over the site like the next day promise.
We ordered 5 boards and one turned up damaged. I called customer services. I was asked to send photos and they would replace asap. I sent the pics in and within a couple of days they sent out a new board. Great service and excellent after sales service
We ordered an A0 size board for a customer we were helping and the board came damaged we sent this back and they sent another. However, this board came worse than the first one the frame was all dented and scratched and one of the frame sides had actually started coming away from the others. Poor customer service and poor packaging resulted in a bad experience.
The board was fine and arrived on time but I never received the chalk that was purchased at the same time
I purchased a large notice board and it was delivered damaged due to insufficient packaging. I reported the damage with in 5 mins of it being delivered they advised that a replacement would be sent I waited a week and chased it to be told they had delivered the package to my house, which hadn't been delivered.
I asked for a full refund a collection of the damaged board I have now asked 4 times for a full refund as I do not have the product I paid for and I have been ignored. I hate to leave bad reviews as I work in cust service but it's been over a month now and I still don't have a refund. If they had packaged the product properly it wouldn't have been damaged and I would have been very happy with the service unfortunately this is not the case and I do not recommend this company
Unfortunately, my board was damaged when it arrived...so too was the replacement, which also came far too slowly given the fact that it was a replacement (missing the event for which I needed it). Customer Service were helpful and didn't quibble about providing replacement boards, and the third was eventually ok, having come to me by a different means, so happy-ish in the end, but would be slightly reluctant to use again.
Great range of products and good customer service
Ordered 3 noticeboards as we had ordered some in past and very happy with product. delivery a day earlier than expected so plus points for that excellent service from salesman to delivery.
First time customer of Boards Direct but would have no hesitation in using them again. Service, communication, delivery and product all 1st-class.
The "board" itself is of a good standard. However, the frame isn't of the same quality. The finish looks cheap and has a tacky finish that the chalk dust obviously sticks to making it appear constantly filthy as its near impossible to clean off.
The delivery details were also none existent. Tracking was apparently "available" but never updated. The board turned up with no warning (late).
As a School Site Manager, to have a reliable contact for notice boards is invaluable. Competitively priced, made to measure and prompt delivery with screws and rawlplugs. Highly recommend.
Although the first board that arrived wasn't as per our order they very quickly rectified it.
90% of the boards I order are damaged when they arrive, and then a replacement takes far too long to turn up - which is normally damaged anyway. The supplier should either sort out the packaging they use, or use a different courier. I have a garage full of bent whiteboards if anybody has a use for them.
I needed a 5m roll of 2mm cork. I saw Boards Direct in an internet search and liked the website so I ordered it. The service was superb. It was despatched by return, very well packaged and was a good price. I needed another later and had no hesitation in going back to them - same excellent service.
Used this company a few times over the years, good products and prices however customer service slow to respond. Cannot speak to them on the phone so reliant on emails. Could improve service by discussing damages and issues on the phone. However I would use them again
Poor communication from the start - finally told a delivery date [19th. July], nothing came, I queried and was told the correct date was the 29th. [the only explanation = "I don't know why my colleague said that".] Nothing came not the 29th.or the 1st. August [Mon]. Goods finally arrived on the 2nd.
