Ordered a board on 21st April 2023 still hadnt received it by mid may, called them and the order had been 'lost' it was due for delivery on 5th may according to the email I received, several phone calls later and it was due for delivery on Friday 19th May, no delivery, currently Monday 22nd May 1 month after ordering the board and its just been delivered so 'fast delivery' that they advertise is clearly false in this case, the only reason im leaving 2 stars and not 1 is that the ladies working in customer service have been excellent, just a disappointing company overall, use caution if you need your board by a certain timeframe!!!

Kept hanging about all day for delivery. Then only a small part of my order was delivered and the main part seems to just have gone missing. They should use a reliable delivery company and not DHL.
It later turned out that the main part of my order was to be delivered by DX who took 3 days for a next day service! I have upgraded my rating of Boards Direct since the problem seems to be with the delivery companies - why are they so bad?
I must say that Boards Direct were very good at getting back to me with the best information they could provide about my orders.

I mistakenly ordered one of their boards and immediately retuning it only for my emails for a refund to continuously be ignored. The customer service of this company is not only distressing but also extremely disappointing.

Ordered a magnetic glass whiteboard, marker, magnetic marker box, and cleaner. Whiteboard, box and cleaner are all good and I am happy with that. The markers are all white though even though I ordered a multi colour pack. I am now having to go through the returns process - I hate my time being wasted so hopefully the returns process is smooth and I get my orginal items ok. Also the discount code entered at checkout didn't come off the total and when I emailed in about this they didn't reply. Nice products but seemingly not a very organised company. Returns process was easy and quick to be fair.

Note: I have updated this review to reflect that the customer service was very quick and helpful. Contacting the supplier to re-arrange delivery for me.

We wished to exchange our whiteboards for another type. We had all whiteboards packaged up as they arrived. Not only were we charged a pick-up fee (which is fair enough) but a restock fee of 20%. If you are a regular consumer they don't charge a restock fee, because it's illegal to do so. However, if you are a business they can and do - even when the goods were unused and we were exchanging.

Upon arrival of our exchanged whiteboards, the courier refused to bring the 7 boards up in the service elevator. This was mentioned in the invoice email but the expectancy seems to be that office staff are expected to bring 7 large whiteboards upstairs. The alternative being that manual labour can be arranged. However, without any delivery tracking that's impossible unless you are willing to pay labourers to sit and wait around for 5 days.

Ordered a large chalkboard Feb 2023. Knew it would be 5-10days delivery and was ok with that. After 10 days, still nothing from boards direct, as to tracking shipment or delivery date. Called and was told it was coming from Holland but someone would call me back with more info. Kelly, customer service manager called and said it was coming from Sweden but unfortunately it hadn’t been ordered in first place. I was obviously very annoyed and didn’t want to wait another 10 days so asked for a refund. Kelly sent me an email to confirm she had asked finance to process the refund that day, 27th Feb 23 through PayPal. Waited 5 working days, nothing. Had to call again and was put through to finance director who informed me that when they received the refund request they discovered my board had actually been ordered and was still on track to be delivered, so they sent the refund ticket back to customer services?? I was not happy and frankly didn’t believe a word of it and asked to be refunded immediately or would just go through PayPal. Refund was done that day. I personally wouldn’t waste time or money with this company. Not professional and do not inform customer of anything. You have to do all the chasing. I bought another board from a different company which was delivered within 2 days. I certainly wouldn’t use or recommend boards direct.

We are a small school with limited budget and chose this company as they were reasonable in price. The boards arrived and we're stored safely until the contractors could come and fit them. Upon opening, we realised one of the boards had a large area of damage, and the corner fitting of one of the others was shattered. Company not interested in discussing this and claim damage must have occurred on our end, which it did not. Very disappointing and will cause further financial strain at what is already a difficult time.

Easy website and delivery of my cork tiles only a couple of days after ordering. Quality of product looks great.

I think this company is good but who they use for deliveries not so good. First board came damaged, no quibble they sent out another. This’d board came damaged, however, I was able to make a good one out of the two

Such a good company to deal with. I ordered two noticeboards and whiteboard which arrived quickly. The whiteboard was damaged, but replaced without quibble. Customer service and communication excellent - shout out to Ashleigh-Beth, who was unfailingly courteous and quick to respond. Products great also!

I've nothing but positive things to say about these guys! I spent ages looking for a cork board large enough for a project I had and could only find providers that sold to retailers. The roll I got from Boards Direct was perfect for my needs, cost less than I was expecting, arrived within a couple of days of my ordering it, and has turned out to be of a much better quality, density, and appearance than the photos and online description led me to believe. I'll be ordering from them again -- highly recommend!

Fast delivery and, most importantly, direct delivery by the company themselves

Excellent customer service. Incorrect colour received for one board (of four) and replacement arrived following day.
Boards look good but perhaps not as thick as anticipated. However definitely fit for purpose. Easy to fix to wall and all fittings supplied.

Ordered a board with a black border which arrived very quickly, was packaged very well and the board itself is great quality.

Amazing customer service. Extremely helpful and friendly and fast to respond.
One board was delivered slightly damaged. Communication to resolve the problem was superb and a replacement arrived the next day.

Very disappointing in all honesty. All the boards we ordered bar one were delivered damaged and we are still waiting the collection of the damaged ones.

Whilst the staff were really helpful at resolving the issues, it doesn't resolve the fact that the 2 large boards we ordered (specifically as they were promised on next day delivery) went missing TWICE, and took 3 weeks to actually arrive. The boards themselves are fine, and I think we were just unlucky with what happened, but it caused us lots of problems having late delivery when we really needed the boards for the beginning of term.
