Dear Sir/Madam: I was Disappointed: "Clara" is miniscule; Lid di not close fully; Base was broken, mechanism dropped out It was delivered in a styro foam box with no outside box See attached photos. I would like to return this item, with paid postage. NOTE: package was originally delivered to Phoenix., for Xmas gift. Absolutely gorgeous music box. I would have given it 5 stars...but it arrived broken. The glue that holds the bottom legs and music box section failed and so every time I pick the music box up to wind it, I have to hold the bottom part so that it doesn't fall out. Hopefully I can glue it myself and then the box will be 100% lovely. Otherwise, a great item!

It's very nice and my little one loved it. My only complaint is the lid doesn't always stay up and it can smash little fingers if they are not careful. Other than that, the craftsmanship is beautiful.

This is a beautiful and intricately designed music box. It is approximately the size of a grapefruit. The colors are bright, and it is embellished with rhinestones. It's also weighty, suggesting quality and durability, but care was taken to pad each foot so it will not scratch your furniture. The ballerina sits on a tight spring and twirls with the classic Nutcracker song. I adore this music box- it's the perfect addition to any collection. I would have rated higher had the inset contained additional detail to match the outer and inner portion of the lid.

The outside is lovely. but the works are very poorly done. The first music box I order ed did not play any music. I returned it., and tried again. The second box , the ballerina, Clara caught on the edge of the box and was unable to turn. When I ordered a third, I tried the Egg music box. Did not like. The fourth I ordered, I thought surely I would receive a Clara music box that worked. When I opened it , Clara just fell over! This Nutcracker music box was to be a gift for my granddaughter who was dancing in the Nutcracker. As I had run out of time, we took it to a jeweler to see if he could repair. Unfortunately all he could do was reattach Clara. When my granddaughter opened it, she started laughing. She said I think Clara is drunk, as all she did was wobble around. So, no I am not happy with this purchase or the 3 I had to return. Thank you for at least taking them back.

It’s very beautiful and looks just like the picture. The music is the perfect volume not too loud. It does miss some notes but sounds rustic and antique so it’s still good. Overall I would recommend for someone who loves the Nutcracker or music boxes.

It's a very beautiful piece, a little treasure. However, I was surprised it was shipped in a Styrofoam shell and since I was gifting it, it did not come with or in a box. Disappointing since they charged shipping and handling.
