Services great Refund let them down
Placed order on the web and delivered by their Ledbury Branch. Excellent service. I made an error and ordered the wrong sand. Phoned Ledbury branch very helpful and exchanged it over with no problem paid for the right sand Excellent service. Said that they would sort out refund. Waited two weeks with no refund so rang them. They said because they did not have my card they could not refund it. (ok) Said they did not have my contact details to let me know. I know its all about emails and phones today but they did have my address so could have sent a letter. ( I know a letter ) Any way because it was a internet purchase last time they said that they would have to get them to refund me because they have my contact details. Wow. My question is if I had not phoned up how long would it have taken for me to get a refund. It a shame because the rest of the service was excellent and could not fault them. Would recommend them to anybody. Refunded with in day’s excellent.

Ordered online for speed but...
As a DiY'er, I've used Bradfords in Ledbury for years but never bothered with an account. Last week, I set one up and wanted one whole roof batten to finish off a small project in the garden. I was popping into town and so decided to order the batten online and collect it at the same time. By the time I parked up in town I got a lovely phone call saying the batten was ready for collection and to just to see the lads in the yard. Simples!
I popped in on the way home and needless to say, the lads in the yard knew nothing about any such online order and directed me to the office to 'sort it out'. Might as well have done that in the first place.
So, into the office, join the queue and eventually the guy reached for a bit of paper and takes me back outside where he waves it under the yard guys nose. Got the batten and finished the project but I'm not sure it was worth bothering with the online order. Next time, I'll just pop in as usual.
