Delayed delivery was disappointing
Actual shopping experience was fine. But delivery, delayed by a day but not advised of this until 3.00 in the afternoon when I had waited in all day was not good.

Ordered sand and cement online. Both products were priced competitively and the same as we had used before so good consistency. Checked delivery with the local branch and they confirmed the delivery was scheduled as indicated online. All delivered on time in good condition with no fuss.

Great company to deal with.
Ordering online was super easy & confirmation for my requirements were received by return.
Delivery was made well within the stated times & the driver was really helpful and placed the bags exactly where specified.

Times advertised differed across…
Times advertised differed across websites regarding Saturday opening times. Had to wait 30 minutes for yard to open. Nearly gate up the wait as i had other things to do.

Erratic delivery approach
Confirmed delivery for Monday 24th June failed to happen without communication.
When chased i wss informed Thursday 27th, which was unacceptable to me.
Now scheduled morning 26th June - fingers crossed.
UPDATE - after an assertive phone call to Bradfords, they managed to deliver today (wednesday) to keep my project on track.

Bradfords failed to deliver on time
Bradfords failed to deliver on time. I ordered a supply of wood on 2 May and am still waiting on 11 for it to be delivered. I have always used Bradfords because I thought their service was good, but I have been badly let down this time. I have been told that the earliest they can get it to me is 13 May - this is very disappointing. I do note that the money was taken from my account on 2 May, so they are very efficient in getting their money when I have not got my goods.

Misleading delivery times.
Misleading delivery times.
Both products I purchased had delivery 2-3 working days and the email confirmation stated the same. On day 3 I contacted them as I had heard nothing. Told it would be another 2 days, so 5 working days. Screwed up my plans and my helpers. Still waiting for delivery! Also don’t be misled by price checked symbol, could have got one of the products a lot cheaper from TP.

Customer kept informed
I ordered 6 fence panels on Sunday and knew they wouldn't be delivered until at least Wednesday. I was informed that there was a delivery issue and they would deliver ASAP. Friday the driver was very apologetic saying there was an IT problem. Honesty is the best policy in my life and Bradfords office and drivers are a very good example of keeping the customer informed.

Didn’t deliver on the date they specified!
Had an email on the Monday stating delivery would be sometime on Wednesday and somebody would have to be there to assist the driver. Took time off work to ensure I was home, waited until 1430 until I contacted office. I was told the delivery wouldn’t be that day now and promised the next day by 0930. Finally delivered at 1100 after again me having to contact office to enquire what was happening. Shocking customer service
