Tom S the driver was great on delivery this morning 10/02/25, I had a few questions about the product and he gave some helpful advice about installation. As the use of the 80mm PIR board isn’t being used in the conventional manner!!

Good first experience
First time I have used this company. Good initial experience. Although I ended up buying more than I needed due to the delivery charge, the materials are first class, I was advised of when my delivery would take place and the driver was friendly and helpful.

Horrible people to do business with
Made an order, rang to say the address could not take a large lorry and was told it was ok because it will be delivered on a flat bed. On Brairwood website it shows a flat bed is a van. They tried to deliver it on an articulated lorry so failed delivery. Asked to cancel order and refund but Briarwood would not refund the delivery charge which is strange because it was the delivery they got wrong. Appalling customer service, oh and did I mention the delivery date was changed 4 times prior to failed delivery.
I received a reply on Trustpilot so I thought I’d add more info.
1: Myself and my builder were at the address all morning. The driver cancelled the delivery
2: Any truck apart from an articulated lorry would fit in my cul de sac
3: The delivery did not come from Scotland, I was tracking it coming up the M6
4: I was charged £120 for delivery but refunded £140 less than I paid. I don’t know why they took an extra £20

Our website showcases our vast fleet, so you may have seen a stationary photo and not the slideshow of vehicles. Due to location of Scotland we deliver once a week / fortnight. On this occasion no-one was present at the address and it was not accessible. We offered you a free re-delivery for a 6-10 days lead time to which was declined by you. We did attempt delivery so we kept the delivery charge as we had all intentions of delivering it and getting it off the vehicle.

A customer's experience with Briarwood.
A disaster from start to finish. What an absolute nightmare. Briarwood Supplies are obviously not geared up to supply ordinary people like me. I decided to use insulated roof panels for my 'lean to' kitchen roof as I thought it would be easier than re-tiling. Wrong. I thought it would be cheaper. Wrong and I thought I was dealing with a helpful supplier. Wrong. First I called their 'sales' team to get advice on what parts I required. I went along with their 'advice'.....Wrong thing to do.
I ordered and paid for it all + transport on Dec 3 2024, most of it arrived 11 Dec 2024. After several `heated' phone calls in which I tried to exchange the wrongly supplied parts for the right parts, (as they had to deliver the missing items anyway), I was denied the exchange with the boss of Briarwood stating, ' it was 'my' responsibility to ensure i was getting the right parts in the first place. Eventually on 15Jan 2025 I received the missing items. Having spent from 11Dec to Jan 15 2025 without a completed roof. My advice, maybe you can guess.

The items quoted for are only estimations, if you were to proceed past this point we advise these quotations are check by a contractor or builder of choice. We did not see photos of your project until you were fixing the sheets and auxiliary items to the roof. If we were shown where the items were needed to go, we could have visually advised and estimated.

Only half the order got delivered
Spent a pretty penny, received only half the order. When asked the driver, he said this is only what was loaded for my delivery. Rang them up to ask where other half of order is, got told that I had to ring their other number as I had rang their sister company and they have no access to records. Finally got through to main company, had to explain multiple times that I was missing items. When I asked about missing items, apparently driver had dropped them off to someone else!! Asked when I could get rest of missing bits, got told over a month or have a refund. Opted for refund, even that took 4 weeks to get! Never ordering ANYTHING from here again, worst experience, staff and drivers act dumb and don't seem that bothered.

Fair amount of damage to the insulated roof panels, driver was on their first day and had not been educated about proper handling. Phone support with double personality: willing to offer advice on the first call (as on the website), subsequent calls claim they don't offer advice.

Wrong materials delivered
We placed our order on 25th nov 2024. 1st order arrived with wrong materials, . 2nd order arrived with same wrong materials. 3rd order was delivered on 9th January 2025, thankfully, correct
