There are lots of compatible Nespresso coffee pods on the market but very few that match up to the quality and flavour of good coffee, sold in a user friendly pod. If like me you have bought pods in the past where you have to remove a fiddly sticker, or a foil cap before inserting in the machine, you try and seek out a pod where you don't have to do this!
Buongusto pods are simple to use, great taste and top quality.

I was so nervous about not using Nespresso capsules, fit and taste were a worry, but so was cost and recycling.

So I decided to try a so called 'Nespresso compatible' capsule. I saw a wide variety in price but not so much variety in the description of quality. This troubled me as I did not know whose capsules to try out. Of course I didn't expect any company to say 'hey, these are cheap in price and the taste ain't great but ok for the money!' I wanted a good cup of coffee but if I could get better value I wanted to try others.

I was also irritated that I could no longer easily recycle my capsules with Nespresso along with my home delivery recurring orders, so if I could get a plastic capsule I figured I could recycle them along with my normal practices.

So I was happily surprised that Buongusto, after delivering quickly, proved be a really good cup of coffee at a hugely competitive price to what I had been used to. True, there is more variety offered by Nespresso, but I had settled on 3 favourites and I now have 3 really good choices with Intenso.

Glad to have tried them out. I have saved money, enjoy the coffee and can easily recycle the used capsules. 3 things that were important to me that Buongusto have delivered.

If you are not sure about trying Intenso, I would say give it a go, you may be as surprised as I was!

Went online and ordered some coffee pods, ordered some more so that I can get the free delivery and it arrived the following day. Simple and straightforward at a good price.

Nice to just have everything happening as it should.

As I am well on in years with rheumatoid arthritis the sealed foil packs of ESE pods are well nigh impossible to break open and require scissors for this. Previous suppliers have a notched border where one can get the d*** things open with minimum effort and not have to spend hours looking for a pair of scissors!

good value coffee not as intense as nespresso , capsules do not fit easily
into a Krups machine but like most things in life you get what you pays for

Soft pods are great for latte style (thank god since I got 150) - but others in sample pack are also good. Using two pods for a large, strong Americano with a dash of cream on top. Have to say loose ground coffee works better in my DeLoghi machine for that but is a bit messy. Run through with pods isn't always even for two small espresso cups.

I'd written to the company to ask about machine compatibility, as many Nespresso-compatible pods didn't work with Krups Inissia. They very kindly sent me two packs of samples so I could try them - which worked great with my machine.

I was amazed when my subsequent order arrived, less than 48 hours after I placed the order!

Good description on different pods, beans and ground coffee. Bulk but for free next day delivery which is track able all the way. On top an advisory text/mail with option to reschedule delivery, change instructions ie leave in porch or accept the one hour delivery given. The delivery guy furthermore has a name so you know who to expect and he even smiles!
The only thing I would like to see is customer feedback on different types of coffee bean; the total lack of this posed some concern for me particularly spending £58 on coffee in one go.
But I'm glad I did and will use again if my 300 pods ever run out ;-)
