VITRIOL RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE
EDIT: buywinesonline doesnt want you to see the truth. They tried to take this review down claiming that it had "defamatory content". What a SCAM. Thankfully trustpilot overruled them since it is a legitimate review.
I ordered wine for my wedding, It arrived 2 weeks late and we had to scramble to find other beverages for my wedding.
FEDEX said that they would provide me with a refund for the expensive wine and shipping if buywinesonline gave me a shipper waver.
I called buywinesonline to ask for a shipper waver and the lady was incredibly rude. She talked over me, yelled at me, and then hung up and me. She refused to answer when I called back. I got FEDEX to call her and she refused to answer them.
We often complain about companies outsourcing their customer service to other countries. But the foreign man that helped me at FEDEX was 100x more polite and helpful then the American lady that answered at buywinesonline. Her employment should be terminated immediately. This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever seen.

Don’t ever order any product from this company! I paid for 2 day shipping and they use FedEx who gave my relatives a 2 hour delivery window and then missed the window by almost 2 full hours. It has now been 6 days after the delivery date for which I paid and the purpose for the gift has come and gone and the company expects me to pay for the delivery fees! They have a claim against FedEx for their failure to timely deliver and they expect me to absorb those fees! FedEx refused to give me a delivery window other than sometime before 8pm which would have required my relatives to stay home all day when my son works all day and my daughter in law has three kids who are in camp or at sports and she is always driving to take or pick them up! It’s unreasonable for them not to have honored the commitment for which I paid, (2 day delivery) I called and complained several times and today June 3 finally demanded my money back and they refused without me absorbing the shipping when I contracted with them to buy and have this product delivered in accordance with my payment ie 2 day! I should not be obligated to pay one cent for this as they failed to hold up their end of the bargain! Their choice of a horrible delivery company should not be my responsibility!

While placing my order, which was a gift, I selected the option to have it gift-wrapped with a note added. I also gave the destination address. However, the system did not allow me to add a note, so I reached out to Customer Service.
Kristina responded very quickly and added the note; she also noticed that the gift was coming to me rather than to the addressee in the note — great catch! She added the note and changed the address, getting everything straightened out in record time and was very friendly and courteous in the process!
So, if it weren't for Kristina, I'd give the ordering process 3 stars — instead, because she was so wonderful and prompt, I'm glad to up it to 5 stars.

I had the worst experience
I had the worst experience . They show you the selection of the wines if you buy the box. They are mixed I understood that . But what I got i would not even give to a wino in the street. Bottom of the barrel wines. They should call it the headache maker box. I have emalied them 3 times and they dont'respond. Never again

As a return customer, I appreciate the consistently high level of customer service at BuyWinesOnline.com. Today's experience was no exception. After placing an order for a case of one of my favorite cabernets, I discovered that I had neglected to take advantage of a discount offer I had been emailed previously. My mistake was quickly rectified with a single telephone call to their customer service number. The BuyWinesOnline.com representative, Christina, couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful as she diligently worked to address my concern.

Such a good first-time buying experience. Prices were very competitive. You can gift wrap each individual bottle for $1 (as of 2023) and add a customized note of a generous length. You also have the option of adding ice to your order if necessary. I had a question about my order and when I called the 800 number it was answered immediately by a patient and helpful rep. This is a gift so I don't know the result yet but I feel confident that it's going to end well.

I ordered a case of wines which delivered in 6 days by Fedex with well protected box.Order confirmation, shipping confirmation happened within 24 hours. Price of wine was reasonable, shipping cost seemed great deal for a dozen of wine.
On the side, I made a minor mistake creating account, so I sent a request to adjust it, they took care of it right next day. I felt whatever their system using is well established and they have great customer service. I have no doubt to order from them again.

My Christmas Angels…
I was having a difficult time figuring out a gift for my nephew and his family, which includes his hard to impress mother, that wouldn't break the bank. Then I found BuyWinesOnline.com. I was impressed (and hope the family will be!) It shipped in plenty of time for Christmas - but little did I know I'd been given the wrong address! It was delivered to the address I provided - apparently, the recipient was delighted . . . I contacted BuyWinesOnline.com, explained my dilemma, requesting the name of the person who signed for the order. Haley responded immediately, offering what help she could. (My signature isn't readable either!) This has all occurred - well, this is day 3. Last night Haley states they will re-ship the order. This morning I get a message from Anthony stating their intent to re-ship my order if I can provide the correct address! That is going totally above and beyond. Other companies should take a lesson in Customer Service. I was impressed with Haley's attempt to help me discover the identity of the signee, but their extreme effort to assure a Merry Christmas is had by all is nothing short of impressive.
