Booked online, when I arrived at the airport my car was waiting for me. No hidden fees. Couldn't be happier.

We had booked a car for collection at Sheridan street in cairns. Myself and my partner both called Atlas in the days leading up to confirm our booking and mase sure our booking was in place. We arrived to collect our car and found that the office was closed even though it was within operating hours. We called the atlas helpline who told us that they tried to contact us multiple times and had canceled our booking. We NEVER received one call or email to inform us of this. There was no apology on the phone and they tried to make out it was our mistake! We’ve never received such poor customer service before. There was no offer of another car or anything. They simply ruined our trip in Cairns and took no responsibility for their poor service.

Early Jan I was charged full excess when another rental car backed into me just in front of the Atlas office. While the damage can't be $4,000 and I was not at fault, I was charged with the full excess instantly. Since then, all my emails and phone calls to the claims and customer service department are being ignored, and I am left with a $4,000 charge I can't claim back from the insurance given I have no paperwork. This is poorest customer service ever and so far I have no way to recover this charge. It's infuriating how they can get away with that.

Great car, fast pick up, good service.
The early check out incurred extra fees which was an inconvenience.

Found us a car from Ace at good price.
But Ace does not have Cairns airport drop off that Airport Car Hire incorrectly listed as available.
On the other hand as the airport is only 10 minutes away from the city so it is not so much a problem.

We received a phone call on landing at Cairns advising us Atlas Car Rentals were waiting outside the airport to pick us up and take us to our car. When returning our Hire Car we were then taken back to the Airport ready to board our plane. Excellent service. The Hire Car was an almost brand new car, we had no problems with the car and enjoyed our trip immensely.

Sure the car was fine but Adam and the team made the experience

Friendly, prompt, easy airport pickup, handover and drop off of car.

The staff picked us up from the airport in record time, and within a flash we were at the depot to pick up our rental car. It was immaculate, and just what we were after. On our return, the process was quick, and the staff whizzed us back to the airport in record time again. Very professional and well organised, very clean and tidy car. Was the best value expense we had on our whole entire holiday, and would definitely use these guys again.

In spite of the fact that I got lost trying to find the drop-off location and then had to obtain petrol which made me late the staff were extremely patient and polite....especially the young man who dropped us at the airport.

The process of being collected and a short drive to the depot to collect our hire car was great. Well worth the saving of the bigger players
