I am a regular customer and highly recommend Cambridge car & van rental. Customer service is excellent and staff are very friendly. Not once have i been disappointed in my two year experience with them. Vehicles are always in great condition too.👍👍👍

Excellent service. Friendly environment. Value for money

Reliable, dependable, flexible and friendly
CCVR have always been really helpful, professional and competitively priced. Booking is easy, the people who work there are nice, the cars are great to drive - not a bad thing to say. In particular, they were really undertanding when I changed by booking at very short notice due to an emergency - I'm still really grateful for this, as it was one less hassle during a difficult time. I was charged £900 for scratching the paint when I parked the van. Apparently my excess was £1000.

I'm sorry to read that your had a disappointing experience with us.
When there is damage to a vehicle we take the steps outlined on our damage policy which is available on our website. Depending on the amount of damage to the vehicle we may require a bodyshop to look at this and rely on them to give an accurate price for repair. I understand all the documentation was sent to you and we are sorry if this was perhaps more than you were expecting it to be.
We are disappointed to read you may not have been fully aware of your excess. We make every effort to make our customers aware of what they are liable for before taking the vehicle. When you booked online your excess would have been displayed before making the reservation. We offer to reduce your excess upon collection of the vehicle which is also advertised by a sign on our front counter making you aware of your current excess and what your excess could be reduced to. Our rental agreement also requires a signature by the excess you are liable for during your rental.

Great van, great price!
I was very happy with the price and condition of the long wheel Base van that I hired! Was a great help with moving house. Only thing I would say is to make sure the hire is confirmed if booking online. I booked a short wheel Base online at first and they were all booked, so called to quickly snap up the last LWB van. Overall, a great experience!
