City Sound Secondary Glazing Reviews 

I don't normally leave reviews but i was so pleased with city sound that im breaking that habit. They're great to deal with and the two installers worked quickly and to high standard. The end result was fantastic noise reduction in my London flat (on main road) , and looks good as well.

I was recommended by a neighbour who had their secondary glazing installed. I found their service to be excellent. The installation team were considerate , friendly and highly professional. Left the apartment in cleaner state than when they started! highly recommended and cost competitive. Well done City Sound and thank you once again

They were very communicative throughout and allowed me to pay in installments which I really appreciated. Excellent product, reliable team and great straightforward communication throughout. For noise reduction, I had secondary glazing fitted in the bedroom as our flat is located next to a major road in London (four-lane traffic, frequent emergency vehicle sirens, and loud motorbikes). The results are seriously impressive, including better sleep. Additional upsides are that the secondary glazing looks really good, and the room now has a good even temperature. Our neighbours had highly recommended City Sound to us and I highly recommend them too, and we all found the people at CS a pleasure to deal with from start to finish.

The one downfall to our pretty West Kensington flat is the proximity to a very busy road. The frequent sounds of loud sirens and motorcycles was putting us off. We decided to call City Sound about secondary glazing for the windows. Booking an appointment for information and a quote was quick and easy. The representative was knowledgeable and professional.

It has now been a week since the secondary glazing was installed in the flat. We are very happy with the results! They look beautiful (you hardly even notice them), and they are so effective at reducing the noise. It is truly amazing! The dull roar of traffic has disappeared and the sharp whine of the sirens has reduced significantly! We just wish we had installed them years ago!

Our flat is surrounded by numerous pubs and restaurants, with their extractor fans producing an ungodly amount of noise, including the low frequencies, which are the worst to block. The initial visit by Llewellen of City Sound, followed by the installation of their thickest secondary glazing was flawless and looks great. Unfortunately, it didn't make a desirable effect of blocking the low frequency sound, as the ceiling (we live on the top floor) was the next weakest spot in the bedroom. After we installed an independent ceiling, the obvious benefit of the City Sound's secondary glazing became apparent straight away, and improved our quality of life immensely. We are very grateful for the City Sound team's professionalism and care, and would highly recommend them to solve your noise problems!

Having secondary glazing installed in the flat was excellent, from start, engaging with the firm, windows being measured, to the completed job.
Work was carried out efficiently by two lovely members of their staff who were a pleasure to have in the flat: they arrived when they said they would, made no mess and generally did a splendid job.
The secondary glazing, installed when it was snowing, made a huge difference to the internal temperature.

Excellent product and service from City Soundglazing. I went for the thickest glass window on the side of a house that was exposed to neighbour's backyard and it not only cut out a lot of ambient/general noise but provided a layer of privacy and cosiness to the room I had not expected. It was fairly expensive but worth every penny - I feel like my whole flat has been improved by about 25%

Jamie and his team have been brilliant. I live on a main road so decided to get my bedroom windows soundproofed and now no longer get woken up by passing cars or buses.

My builder managed to crack one of the windows during refurbishment works 3 years later. City Sounds replaced the window for me straight away without any problem with great after sales service. Their installers were professional and efficient.

A good experience with their office setting up an appointment only to be completely negated by the attitude of the assessor who visited. No mask. Patronising, condescending and rude. It proved not possible to fit due to my having had shutters fitted already. Had it been technically possible, I would not have proceeded after my experience. I reported it to their office but no follow up.
