I prebooked my appointment online for the Cardiff St Davids branch, knowing how busy it normally is at this time of year.
I arrived at the store early (30mins infact) and asked the Team Leader Rachel if my daughter could be seen earlier. Although they were busy Rachel found me someone who sat my child down straight away and started chatting. She put Ivy at ease, asked her questions about the holidays and then came back to me with the shoe size and where I needed to look. Other stores I've been in I've felt pressured to buy but Cerys gave me space and then came over when she could see we were having difficulty choosing. She grabbed two pairs that we had chosen and advised that the third could be ordered.
Cerys sat Ivy down and fitted the shoes and got her to do a little walk around whilst encouraging her to tell us how they felt - she was pointing out the differences between the two and advised of what she thought were harder wearing.
We took the more expensive pair after a little think and to be fair I'm happier to pay for more expensive shoes when you receive service like this.

Popped into the Cardiff store and the staff were absolutely lovely, nothing was too much trouble and they were very friendly and polite. We were seen for my children’s feet measuring within 5 minutes by Rachel who was excellent with both of my girls and we left with two pairs of new school shoes with ease! Thank you Rachel!

Rachel at the Cardiff Store was absolutely brilliant today. She was extremely patient and helpful . Nothing was too much trouble and she made sure my daughter was happy and comfortable with her new school shoes . Brilliant service , thank you !!

Ieaun was absolutely fantastic with my daughter he measured her feet and made it so much fun for her. Thank you so much. It’s such a shame the closest store in 20 miles away 😢

We popped into Clarks St David's Centre Cardiff to get our children's feet measured. We were met by the lovely Ieuan H who measured my eldest twos feet promptly and explained where we would be looking. I asked him to measure the baby's feet for his first shoes which he did. Ieuan was very helpful and kind when measuring my baby's feet. He was able to find the pair of shoes we liked and explained the growing room process and was very knowledgeable.
We came away with our baby's first pair of shoes. The whole process was very easy and calm.

Ash was really helpful. I’d had a problem buying a sale bag online as the website wasn’t giving me the option of click and collect at the Cardiff city centre store. So I went in and they found the bag for me very quickly so I could buy it there and then.
