Just had our roof cleaned and coated by David and Adrian, roof cleaned throughly first day some inevitable mess but was cleaned up well repairs completed to some tiles and valleys etc. Second day roof coated and final cleanup. Would recommend this company on the basis of the job I have had and also a reasonable fair price. Seen bad reviews but in my experience cannot fault the work ethic.

Received a very swift and efficient roof cleaning service. We were surprisingly happy with the price as it was considerably cheaper than other companies we had enquired with. The work was carried out to a high standard as promised and all staff were polite and hardworking. We will definitely be using the company for further renovations and would strongly recommend. We had our fascias fitted last year and were very happy with them so decided to have our porch windows and front door done this year. We are very happy overall and we have had a lot of positive comments from our friends and neighbours. Would happily recommend.

The first job I had by clean and coat was my roof renovation. My roof tiles were cleaned and the coated in a brown protective coating. I was so pleased with the result I arranged for them to do a flat roof on my garage and a new carport. I was also very pleased with these two jobs as well and have now arranged to sort the brickwork on my walls with them too. Don't listen to any negative reviews the company are in my opinion- fantastic.

My neighoubour is in the process of having this work carried out. They turn up without any prior notice to us. They carried out the removal of moss to the roof with a power jet and access the roof with just a roof ladder! So forget about Health and Safety (HSE). When l arrived home l found that there was a horrendous mess all over my property especially front and rear windows (just paid for windows to be cleaned the previous week). The wind was bad last week because of the storm so everything blew into my property. Looking at my CCTV l could see that they tried to clear the mess at the front of my property with a power jet, forcing water under the inside of my front door. (Which resulted in it swelling and difficult to open). Then to my astonishment C&C gained entry to the rear of my property without my consent, over the garden wall! Losening the coping stones in the process! l can't wait for the return visit - to spray the neighbours roof a different colour!! What ever colour their roof's going to be, no doubt that's the colour my house will end up!! Health & Safety in mind, l hope C&C RAMS are up-to-date!

We paid a large deposit for our roof to be renovated back in July.
Heard nothing for weeks until we made contact via email and phone late August.
FINALLY after great effort, two workers from Clean and Coat came to clean the moss off mid September.

Although the workers were polite and courteous, the roof was not cleaned to the standard agreed in the contract.
Moss left on the end face of tiles, as well as verge.
We highlighted this to their office via phone, so when the same workers came back in November, the rest of the moss was cleaned before they applied the coat.

The Coat was done on a day of rain SHOWERS!!
Although reassured the coating had dried and bonded correctly to the tiles, within 24 hours of observing the roof, from the front of our house, the coating had clearly not correctly been applied in correct weather conditions, leaving a horrible looking roof.

Unfortunately for us, we are a kind couple who feel like we have been taken advantage of.
Once speaking to others about the situation.
We notified their office of the paint running, with patches all over the roof, 2 days after the coat.

They said they would send a team over to get the roof re-done within two weeks.
This is clearly not the case, over 4 WEEKS on, Clean and Coat have not sent a team to
''re-do'' the work as stated in the contract.
To no surprise at all, there has been no further contact.

They've took our money - £4500
And clearly forgotten about us.

After taking legal advice, we've made contact with Trading Standards to take this matter further so it finally gets resolved.
Very upset as this feels like a con, regardless of the many jobs they may have carried out correctly, we are a one of the forgotten people.
We've been advised if leaving a review to not state full name as this could affect the case opened by Trading Standards.

A superb job in replacing the polycarbonate for a ‘rubber coated flat warm roof’ on our conservatory. Thanks to Andrew and his colleagues who worked hard to achieve an excellent finish both inside and out. We can now sit in the Conservatory with 21C inside (with radiators on) and -3C outside now making it an all year around usable space.

We had a replacement conservatory built. The construction was done efficiently exactly when we needed it doing. The quality is superb. It is warmer in winter, cooler in summer, extending our use to all year round. It is so well done we are considering using the firm to replace our remaining wooden frame windows. For that we are getting excellent help from Duncan. A friendly and efficient service.

I had the estimater out to my property today,
Well what can I say ? I have never known so much fluctuations on prices in my life, upon receiving the price for roof to be cleaned I murmured words that are not appropriate on here, and said forget that he then said he would do it for four and a half thousand less yes four and half thousand less, to drop that much there must be something wrong, maybe they have no work at all or they workmanship is a little bit to be desired, my personal pinion on observing the estimater is the first price was a ripoff, so I decided not to have it done.😣

The job was left incomplete and accidental damage to the property wasn’t repaired as promised - it’s been four months and there still hasn’t been any action. Shouted at over the phone when asking for the work to be done, avoid at all costs, cowboy builders.

I am very pleased with Clean & Coat.
Mark and Jacks work was perfect and the finish is beautiful!

I am very pleased with the result of my roof renovation by Clean and Coat Ltd. All the moss was washed off and anti-fungal treatment applied on the first visit and a lot of repointing and sprayed with 2 coats of preservative on the second visit. The 2 guys, Jack and Dave, who completed both parts of the job were punctual and worked hard. They were very polite and cleared up to a high standard when they had finished.

Clean and Coat Review:
We had previously employed Clean and Coat to clean and restore the roof in our previous home and were very pleased with the service we received and the end results. Therefore; when we moved house two years later we asked them to treat the roof in our new home. The initial cleaning process was satisfactorily completed although there was some misunderstanding as to what other tasks had been agreed. There was then a long wait until the final process, mainly due to inclement weather. We felt though that the company could have communicated more regularly with us during the waiting period, necessitating enquiries from us as to any progress. However; last week two operatives Ryan and Jack attended and completed the work highly satisfactorily. They were very polite and helpful and nothing was too much for them to do. They attended to everything and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. They worked extremely hard for nearly twelve hours, and taking only very short rest breaks during the whole time

I felt I just had to write to express my satisfaction with the service I have received from Clean & Coat.As the result of a canvassing call, their representative .Paul Cook came at our request to quote for applying coating to our very old house. Also to replace some windows.Paul Scott is the best ambassador the company could have as part of the team.What a breath of fresh air to find a company with such a great ethos.Charge a fair price for the job & don’t get involved in a price war.Immediate trust & confidence.Well done.The first part of the job ( new windows ) has already been done perfectly ( not an easy task ) by Peter & a young man whose name I have forgotten.Sorry.How fortunate the business is to have people that are so hard working & pleasant. I am sure that the rest of the job will be conducted in the same way.Clean & Coat have got the job right .don!t expand too quickly without having the same caliber of people around you.

Nothing but praise for the teams who did our roof - Dave and Jack who prepared it by pressure washing and Ryan and Jack, who did the painting and finishing touches. Any mess was minimised and cleared away and they all worked diligently and efficiently. We’re very pleased with the work and would highly recommend.

My husband and I have just had the roof of our 50 year old plus bungalow renovated by Clean and Coat Ltd.
Our initial contact was with Paul, a very personable young man who talked us through the whole process and answered all our questions, he gave us a favourable quote and we went ahead.
The first stage took place on the 4 june 2019 when Ryan and Chris turned up, They put down groundsheets to catch all the mess and proceeded to jet wash the roof and removed all trace of moss and dirt which had accumulated over the years. The gutters, facias, windows and sills were all cleaned and a moss inhibiting spray was used. Unfortunately the weather delayed the next stage.
On the 24 June Dave and Jack arrived to finish the job. Mortar joints were renewed and they repointed our chimney. Finally two coats of the protective finish which we had chosen and any mess cleared away. All workmen were very hard workers and extremely polite.
Our roof looks like new and we are so glad we had it done.
Would definately recommend Clean and Coat.

They did a very good job for us.The team worked hard and efficiently.
The end result is a house that looks as good as new. We never dreamt it was going to look so good!
