Amazing water but it takes 8+ hours to…

Amazing water but it takes 8+ hours to fully filter. It’s a WEEK old.

I tried the necessary steps to fix it, via support, and it did nothing. They claimed it was the building that I lived in (it is an older building).. I tried boiling water from the tap, then when it reached room temp I put it in the clearly filtered- still a very very long time to filter through.

The water is amazing though. I’ll try one more filter when ours expires, and if the problem is still happening I will switch companies

So expensive with disappointing customer service

I’ve been a customer of clearly filtered for about 4 years now and I will never buy from them again. First of all, their pitcher design is horrible. It breaks at least once every 6 months. Second they refused to work with me when they sent an autoshipment to my old address (auto ship was every 15 months so easy to forget). Lost $150 despite the fact that just a week earlier I ordered $180 with them buying 3 filters and a new pitcher (since mine was again broken). They told me to work with the post office that’s a 3 hr drive from my house and does not answer their phones (bc it’s center city Philly) . They don’t care if you’re a loyal customer they will refuse to help you out. I’m truly appalled they’re willing to lose a customer they had for years rather than refund me, especially since the shipment is being sent back to them!!! IT WAS NEVER EVEN DELIVERED TO MY OLD ADDRESS.

Such a shame STAY AWAY

Such a shame - love the company ethos but their customer support is awful and they completely have miss sold the product - made claims that are completely not true. Please stay away.

You're being scammed

Two problems... one of the filters I purchased took 3 hours to go from the reservoir to the pitcher. When contacting customer support, they wouldn't replace it because they said it was technically working. Really?
So, I cancelled my subscription. When I log in my account even confirms it's cancelled. But, they billed me $150 in August of 2023 and I had to dispute it. Now in June of 2024 they did it again. Don't go near this company or product.

major regrets

major regrets. very expensive pitcher and filters for one person with minimal use. waste of money. filter only lasts 2 months--it filters extremely slow but water tasted great. I wrote the company they said I may need to change the filter. omg so soon--can't afford that plus the waste. I changed the new filter and the water tastes horrible. I primed the filter correctly. Priming the filter process is a pain and ridiculous!! what a waste of $$$ Im pissed and out of $$$

Not worth the trouble.

The actual filters were okay. But the additional items, such as the "priming bag" and the pitcher itself were basically useless and cheap plastic garbage. Two of the three filters I received in my last and final order did not even allow for water to enter the filtration portion of the filter. The "priming" bags, using the description loosely, did nothing but pour water into the sink. My advice: find another water filter source.

Great customer service

Great customer service. I had a replacement filter I had gotten from a former distributor of theirs three years ago, and it was defective and leaking charcoal throughout the box. It was out of their warranty period, but they asked me send them a picture of it. I did, and they sent me a replacement right away. The product is great. We take it with us on trips. I highly recommend it.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. They shipped me a filter that was delivered to the wrong unit number. Instead of making it right, they're insisting I spend hours of my time trying to get "additional tracking information" from the local post office. I'm not sure what they expect it to say? Definitely not going to say "We delivered your package to the wrong unit". Great way to lose a loyal customer who recommended these units to family and friends. At this point, I'll get my money back one way or another, and try a company that treats their customers better.

Delay and terrible service

Same issue as the comment below. I've placed my order more than two weeks ago and still haven't received it, or got any update from the company for that matter. Had I known I would have gone for another product.

Great Products and Exceptional Customer Service!

I live in an area with a great deal of petrochemical drilling and it’s also located at the end of the Mississippi River. For the last 4 decades this area has become a cancer hotspot. I do not trust the tap water. However, I don’t want to add to the current plastic problem that the US is drowning in. I did extensive research and found Clearly Filtered as consistently being rated the best filter for removing the most dangerous chemicals from water. I have been their customer for over a year now and their products are incredible. What’s more is their customer service is remarkable. They are a great company who cares about their clients just as much as they care about people’s health and the environment. I love this company and will be their client for a very long time.

Excellent Filters that Target Dangerous Chemicals

I have been using them for a few years now, and they haven't disappointed (minus the fact that I got the pre-upgrade pitcher that is far inferior to the new design) (to Clearlyfiltered, can I have a new pitcher as a loyal customer?). I got my mom to hop on as a customer and she got a much improved pitcher. They also significantly improved their filter replacement process so we don't have to struggle with splashing water as we prep a new filter, big kudos there!

Their filters filter out PFAS, which most filters do not, and is a must if you want to get a bang for your buck and protect your long-term health. What is unclear is whether their filtration also removes 1,4-dioxane, and I would like to see the company talk about that in the future.

They are always timely, have great sales, and have a nice referral program so you can earn a few extra bucks. I recommend this brand to my friends whenever I go on a rant about dangerous forever chemicals.

Thirsty and unhappy customer.

This review is based upon my experience of the Clearly Filtered pitcher throughout the use of one filter.
For clarity from the outset, I wish to point out that all aspects of purchase inc packaging and delivery, communications and product in regards to build, design and water taste were all excellent.
I think it would also be prudent to state I am the owner and sole user of the pitcher/filter.
A 36yr old male, active in both occupation and leisure pursuits. Really one of those guys that has a 1.5Lt(.8Gallon/12cups if I have converted correctly)Nalgene water bottle strapped to me wherever I go. Being that I don’t drink alcohol, carbonated beverages or juices, I get my fill of the h2o. I suspect on average, I would drink 1-2 of these containers, most days.
Having initially invested in the unit after some careful deliberation, it arrived and worked very well for a short period. The water, after having primed the filter, ran smoothly in maybe 5-8minutes p/upper reservoir fill.
This however changed, quickly. Within weeks, I was concerned I had maybe caught a dud with the flow rate down to maybe 20mins. I thought another prime was needed. This did indeed help the flow for a short while.
To save the nauseating story of my block/prime/re-fill process, I think you can see where we are going.
After less than 3 months my filter would not pass water, period.
Having contacted customer services, I had the pleasure of chatting to Mina. She kindly pointed out that if I had been filling the reservoir twice a day, it was possible that the filter may only last circa-3 months. If on occasions, as I did, fill a third time(boiling, soaking etc), maybe closer to 2.
Wow. So simply to meet my personal water requirements, I was looking down the barrel of apx £25 p/month charge (assuming I purchased 6 filter packs, each lasting 2.5 months on average) Unbelievable. In the 21st century what individual can swallow such a cost?! Sadly, I can’t and I feel truly. A single guy, whom works full-time without dependants. I buy organic, wholefood/natural products wherever can, yet good clean drinking water is out of my reach.
I do not blame C.F for my situation. More embarrassed I naively viewed the FAQ’s page etc and thought if it states ‘4-6months’ for individuals, surely I wasn’t going to be that far out...right?! Wrong.
I now have an empty pitcher awaiting listing on a second had platform. How sad. I shall get back to the saving and invest in the counter top filtration system from another well-known brand I have since become acquainted with.
Please acknowledge both your own water usage and the claims made by Clearly Filtered people. I would hate anyone to end up taking the financial hit I have in these times. None of us can afford that. If you are happy with those rates, it’s an excellent product, but either way, it does come at a price.
