We had our house under offer last June 2024 and things were extremely slow, no response from our case agent to our emails, nor to our phonecalls, we were absolutely disappointed about how L.D. was dealing with our case. Conveyancing Expert had been recommended to us by our estate agent, hence we complained to them about it.
Our estate agent spoke to our case agent's manager and we were assigned to Ms Zarqa, a case assistant, and since then things started to change; our phonecalls were returned, emails replied and we had timely updates about the sale of our property. The negotiation was pretty hard due to our buyers' solicitors constant demands and obstacles to the process, but nothing could have been achieved without Ms Zarqa's endeavours, even being unwell.
Our house was finally sold last 25th Nov. 2024.
It all depends on the agent you're assigned to!!!

Dealing with Conveyancing Expert has been awful, with the notable exception of Bethany Lawton, who was excellent - unfortunately, my only contact with Bethany was on the day of completion. I cannot recommend this company.

Numerous mistakes were made throughout the whole process, for example:

I was given incorrect information regarding the documents required during the onboarding process. As an example, I asked if my marriage certificate would be required, as my father's will was made before my marriage. I was told that it was not needed, then it was requested later in the process. This caused additional expense and inconvenience. When I subsequently raised this, I was advised that the Onboarding Team was new and inexperienced.

When the contract was initially sent through, it was incorrect. I had to flag the error to the person dealing with the case.

I was advised that the house was held as Joint Tenants when I had previously provided evidence that it was actually held as Tenants in Common.

I was asked to submit the same documents more than once - again, more expense and more inconvenience. When I spoke to a different person due to my solicitor's emergency leave, I was advised that different people saved documents on the system in different ways, so sometimes it was difficult to find those documents.

I was selling my father's property and found the service to be efficient and straight forward. Any emails were answered quickly and all information was clear and straight forward. Thank you to Helen and her team. Would definitely use them again.

I had a good experience with this company: they replied timely, chased queries without being prompted and provided clear and concise updates.
They answered many queries that I had throughout the duration of the process.

The process was great when I had queries along the way, Rebecca was great with answering everything and keeping me updated along the way. Had a few issues from the other side with hold ups. Rebecca done everything she could by pushing them. And finally exchanged and completed which was a smooth and quick process on the day.

I would highly recommend using Conveyancing Expert as I recently used their service to facilitate the sale of my property. Both Bethany and James were extremely exceptional in ensuring I was informed on each stage of the process. Although the sale was protracted due to various circumstances, it eventually concluded positively.

When we were first working with the conveyancing expert welcoming team we were very worried. The welcoming team were anything but and refused to talk to me as I was a women and therefore obviously my partner knew more (he didn’t).

Once we were handed to Rebecca Rea however we knew we were in safe hands. We never waited more than 48 hours for a response, most of the time with responses within 3 hours! Our seller really messed us around but Rebecca was so reassuring throughout the process and was always happy to answer the questions we had as first time buyers! She kept us informed every step of the way and we couldn’t thank her enough!

If you can get past the unwelcoming welcome team this solicitors is great!

Nicola was our conveyancer and is really lovely. Initially I felt progress seemed quite slow and I got frustrated with communication, however I think this is because they have a LOT of work on, and I was getting a lot of pressure from either side of the chain. I can’t fault Nicola in her professionalism, and also the speed she managed to wrap up the transaction at the very end. Ours wasn’t easy I don’t think, as we were a new build house with an estate management company and it was difficult to source a lot of documentation, something a lot of people on our estate have had to contend with. Thanks to Nicola we have actually managed to be the first house to complete on our estate for a while! Our buyers solicitor was picky but I really appreciate how Nicola was able to use her experience and expertise for our own purchase and deal with the buyers solicitor too. Also a special mention to Kouthar who I must have rang about 573 times in the last few weeks, who was always so helpful and patient and was also very good at her job.

Hayley has recently helped my purchase my first house. She has been great from the start, responding promptly and efficiently to any additional queries I’ve had and has advised and helped to resolve things. Even during periods of annual leave, she has assured that my emails have been picked up promptly by colleagues and it has kept me feeling informed and in the loop. I would have no hesitation in using Hayley again! Thank you for all your hard work 🙂

I had a great start with the firm, but, throughout the entire Conveyancing process turned out to be difficult to get hold of the solicitor allocated to my case. The process itself was a very painful one. Later after the completion the seller and I meet and I found out that my solicitor kept asking the seller for stuff that weren't applicable to the property and telling his solicitor that it was the buyer wanting that info, info which i was never made aware. Towards the end of the buying process my solicitor apparently was sick and my case was taken care by her deputy, Zarqa which seemed to know what she was doing and was involved in getting the buying process across the line. However, I wouldn't recommend this firm to my friend or family.

Happy to recommend Conveyancing Expert. They managed the sale of quite a complicated shared property without a hitch.
