Stay away from this company at any cost. They are just incompetent. :They had been recommended by our agent to the vendor. I recently purchased the property and my seller was completely fedup using them very poor and slow for buying the property or selling . They hardly pick up the phone call and dont bother to get by to you quickly via email too. I was thinking to pull out of the deal many times but then I realised its not the sellers fault. |The seller was genuine but unfortunately they had been recommended by an agent to this firm.

My trasaction took 6 months and they kept things pending until the last day of my mortgage offers expire.

I would suggest anyone not to go with any conveyancer which your agents want to recommend you. Its better to have your own after research privately. As agents get the commision from them and they dont bother to maintain standard .

From the outset a courteous, professional and candid working relationship was quickly established. Expectations were set around timescales, frequency of commuication and how the initial hurdles before us would be overcome. Acknowledgement of information and responses to enquiries were progressed within reasonable timescales. Whilst we thought the end to end process itself was slower than could have been reasonably expected, feedback received indicated that it was more our buyers delay but unexpectedly this turned out to be in our favour through slipping into our no early redemption charges window. So overall we were pleased with the eventual outcome and quality of service. Thank you Rebecca and Team

Conveyancing Expert Ltd. did a good job at guiding us through the process of the sale of our flat. There were a few twists and turns along the way caused by the buyer and their Solicitor causing communication gaps, but exchange and completion was achieved and the end process was fast, seamless and very professional. Used Conveyancing expert in a very straightforward no chain, cash house sale as they came in reasonably priced when I was looking around initially. Although an additional charge did appear on the final invoice which did not appear in the initial quote. The house sale took 4 months with no upwards or downwards chain, albeit the last 4 weeks was down to the buyer being unable to complete any sooner. It was difficult to get hold of the company as they discourage phone calls preferring email. However, Emails were not answered promptly. Furthermore the quality of the correspondence issued by my conveyancer to the buyers solicitors was poor. An email to the director expressing my concerns went unanswered.
I don’t know if I was just unlucky but suffice to say, I would not recommend this company

I had a very difficult chain, and there was a lot of backwards and forwards. Overall I was pleased with the service and staff.

A shambolic law firm, based out of a terraced house conversion next to a Domino's Pizza in Salford.

I purchased a flat with them in 2023, that was OK: still some mistakes for which I had to step in several times, the worst being they managed to lose crucial paperwork that I literally hand-posted to them, delaying the move by a further week. My vendor actually put in a formal complaint.

I come to sell the flat a year down the line and they now a) don't have a record of it and b) tell me they're not insured to work on it, quoting the Building Safety Act act in 2022. I go on the BSA restricted register, my postcode not mentioned at all - no restrictions or anything. Fob off.

The last lady I dealt with has basic grammar errors in her email signature and the guy couldn't even call me by the right name. These are people that you are trusting to dot the i's and cross the t's on the biggest purchase of your life.

Sophie Whitby, who has many positive mentions on here, has now left the business.

I would be very, very careful.

We were initially given Jessica as our conveyancer and communication was limited and she was difficult to contact at times. As we were approaching our completion date Jessica left the company without telling us and our case was split between 2 other conveyancers by mistake and they were asking for documents that we had already sent them. Once this was resolved we were given Sophie.

Sophie was very helpful and got our exchange date sorted quickly. Although there were hiccups along the way I cannot fault Sophie’s communication and work ethic to pick up the pieces after Jessica left. It should be noted all conveyancers have many cases to deal with so at times it will be slow! We were told our case should take 4 months for a 3 person chain. We completed in 5 months and if communication was better in the beginning some of the problems would have been resolved quicker. We were lucky to get Sophie in the end to get our completion date over the line!

I am currently towards the end of the process and am yet to exchange contracts or have a confirmed completion date, despite my conveyancer Jamuna telling me that all is done. I'm being chased by other solicitors and agents in the chain as we are all ready to go. Very very poor communication with no updates. No response to messages or emails left. I will not recommend this company at all.

Great service from Bethany always on hand to advise and answer any queries with regards to purchase of the new property my elderly mother was buying.

Perfect level of engagement throughout. Our assigned solicitor helped us through the various challenges by open and transparent communication and listening to our needs as well as following the legal process. We were greatly impressed at how an on-line service could deliver the outcome of a successful sale and purchase

We are so very pleased with the service we have received from Conveyancing Expert. Our Solicitor Laura Donoghue was amazing, she had the patience of a saint as we changed our minds several times. She was contactable and reassuring. My husband and I would highly recommend her and conveyancing Expert.

I have to agree with a number of the reviews i've read. This company was recommended to us by our estate agent (Big red flag) but as we wanted to get the process started we went along with their choice.

Really slow service which resulted in a change of case manager. They were very quick to throw in additional charges stating this/that wasnt covered in our package including searches that were not necessary and were subsequently cancelled.

The total amount of extra charges in the end was laughable (Almost as much as the original quote) and it makes you wonder why people aren't keen on solicitors.

They put our move date back multiple times and to be honest i'm surprised we we actually completed the move.

Even with all the problems and poor service i was willing to just not write a review and just be happy with the move however that has now changed.

This evening we received an email asking for money FOUR MONTHS after completing. The email reads as if they made a mistake but unfortunately thats not our problem. Would they have been so forth coming had an "error" happened in our favour? Hmm!

Absolutely unprofessional chancers (thats me being polite) and anyone who is daft enough to work with them good luck to you as you are going to need it.

Sophie was very helpful and communicative. She speeded things up when it was needed. She was very knowledgeable and made a clear path through the bureaucracy.

Contrary to some of the other reviews, I’ve found Conveyancing Expert to be very reliable and professional during our house sale. There wasn’t any obvious disadvantage in engaging a remote provider to do the Conveyancing and we were very grateful to Jamuna for helping us navigate the more complex aspects of the process. She kept us well informed throughout the process and I would definitely consider using them again. Based purely on our own experience, I would recommend their services.
