We reside in Portugal and ordered quite a few items of cricket kit as a test for the quality of the items. At the time we checked the delivery to Europe information which then made no mention of the... See more

Absolutely shocking customer service
Absolutely shocking customer service. Shoes arrived in used condition and I need the shoes for a match on Friday, then to be told order some more and we will try to make Friday sent a returns label, then to add insult to injury, you offer a 5% discount, WOW £1.75.
Sticking to Amazon in future.
Really shocking customer service
Really shocking customer service. Do not shop here. I bought a cricket bag that split on first, and perfectly normal, use. They want to charge me to return it so they can decide whether it is faulty - because 'they don't offer free returns'. Zero confidence they will accept it is their responsibility for selling a faulty product, and then charge me to send it back. This experience is precisely why people shop at Amazon, not at these small businesses.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from this retailer. It took a shocking six weeks to get my refund processed, which is completely unacceptable. I had to follow up multiple times, and each time I was met with unhelpful responses and delays. This level of service is not only frustrating but also unprofessional. I will not be shopping here again and would advise others to avoid this retailer if they value their time and money.
Surprisingly excellent service!
Having seen the poor reviews on here after I placed my order, I was nervous that I would have the same experience. I was therefore, pleasantly surprised at the excellent service I received. My order arrived next day, even though I chose standard delivery, communication was very good and the item arrived exactly as I ordered, and much cheaper than other outlets. I would definitely shop here again.
Avoid
Avoid! I ordered from runningdirect.co.uk a pair of running socks. What I received were a pair of cricket socks from these jokers. I advised them of their error and received a returns label that you have to print. They insisted despite wasting my time going to 2 post offices that they could scan the qr code. They can't I even have confirmation of this from the royal mail. They told me to visit a print shop. Who on earth has a print shop in a town with about 10 shops. Anyway I finally printed the label returned the socks. Chased up the socks I actually ordered. Told I was going to get them within the week. Guess what...they never arrived. Absolutely useless.
No delivery communication & false advertising
Wish I read these reviews before buying! Chose to purchase a cricket bat from Cricket Direct as they offered a Redy2Play service that would knock in the bat. I received no information on my order after the confirmation email and assumed it was just taking a while for the bat to be knocked in. 3 weeks after my order I get a note from a neighbour to say the package has been with them for over 2 weeks. I then emailed Cricket Direct to ask why I had received no information that my order had been delivered, and also for confirmation that my bat had indeed been knocked in. What followed was some of the worst customer service I had ever received. Not only was there no acknowledgment of the lack of communication but they also said that the bat had not been knocked in, a service which I had paid £30 for. Not only that but they then tried to gas light me by telling me that the knocking in service was not available to select for this product. After sending them screenshots to show they were wrong, they simply said it was a technical error. They told me a refund for the knocking in service had been issued, but I had to chase them to get this. Buy elsewhere!!
What appalling customer service on the…
What appalling customer service on the phone!! Lack of understanding, communication and above all customer satisfaction. I raised a point that I collected the wrong bat than the one I had ordered. I literally got told that I am a liar and I can't speak to the manager. They need to bring in better customer service
Super fast delivery
Super fast delivery! Was going on tour and needed a thigh pad sent an email and Tina was straight onto it and it arrived the next day. Outstanding service, will definitely be using again.
Cricket direct gray Nicolls bat
Absolutely brilliant definitely gonna order from here again, they said they were gonna be 8 days came in 6 and the bat feels amazing. Don’t know what all these bad reviews are about tbf
Do not order from this company
Wouldn’t order from this company again, ordered and paid for a cricket bag online. Received an email 2 days later from Tina who said that due to stock error it was out of stock so agreed to an alternative bag, which incidentally was cheaper, that was supposed to be sent out the next day … 3 weeks and 14 emails later I finally received my order but no refund on the difference in price. Customer service appalling in every level.
Failure to acknowledge and refund a return that has been tracked.
Spoke to customer service who were happy for me to order 2 bats with a view to trying and returning one. I have confirmation from the courier that the bat was delivered back to them on 12 January and received by an employee. Despite chasing them they are still to confirm they have the bat and will be refunding it. I am waiting for a refund of approx £150.
Avoid like the plague
Avoid like the plague.
We ordered, they never dispatched the items, despite repeatedly lying that they were on their way. Thank god we realised just in time to source an alternative Christmas present. Wish we'd read these reviews before ordering

customer service refused to honor their free return policy due to an error in packing, additionally they were not going to refund a me a pair of shoes I tried on in my house because they looked like they had been worn.. very difficult to understand customer service rep.. even when I asked her to speak clearly slowly into the phone. she did not appear to understand what I was saying. AVOID !!! very unprofessional and petty
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

REFUSING TO REPLACE OR REFUND FAULTY PRODUCT.
such a disappointment
such a disappointment - helmet hasn't arrived despite being assured it would be with me within 24-48 hours and i had offered to pay for guaranteed next day delivery but was told that wasn't necessary despite fact my son going on cricket tour 4 days after the order. appallinging treated on phone by customer services at the Company who passed all blame to Royal Mail and suggested "not their problem", just mine although my contract for the item is with them and they are therefore responsible for using a courier that gets the item there within the timescale suggested and if not, sends another at their expense. i have just spent 30 minutes getting hold of Royal Mail to track the item and they don't care either and suggest that paying for Tracked 24 means nothing and shouldn't expect it to arrive on time, no come back and can't get it Returned to Sender so have to wait and return myself - shocking. have had to go out and buy a new helmet elsewhere and wish i had done that in first place as it was cheaper and i received advice and service with a smile from AJ Sports in Kingston.
Cricketdirect.co.uk no Cricketdirects.uk
Cricketdirect.co.uk was fine.
BUT there are links out there on social media linking to a "mega sale" but links you to cricketdirects.uk. The sale is too good to be true, offering 70% off bats. It looks exactly the same as cricketdirect.co.uk.
I'm lead to believe cricketdirects.uk is a scam website, so please double check the website before pending any money there.
Hello,
Hello,
I kindly request everyone to notbuy from their website. I have ordered for 1 week ago and they still havent delivered anything to the post office, despite that i have called twice and she promised me to recieve my package within a week. Their promises are false, doesnt respect delivery times. I called her even today and she promised me to return by the email. I am worried and regret my order, i wish i saw all these review before ordering from this website.
Poor service from Tina
Website seemed decent but yeh coming on here does make more sense. Sent an enquiry, got a reply and promised information, that information didn't come and it's been 6 days now.
Failed delivery and High delivery fee
It’s my first time use this company and it will be my final time. If you can, AVOID this company. I wish I see reviews here before I purchase, so I can avoid. Reviews here are so bad, you can see it’s not individual experience but company culture.
They charged £6.35 delivery fee which is significantly higher than average retailers delivery fee, but even with such a high delivery fee, I still did not get the item.
After I placed order, I received a confirmation email of my order, then absolutely no communication. So I emailed them a week later for status of delivery, they said item was delivered with a picture showed item was placed between a door and a bin (bin placed in front of a door).
Then I realised item was placed my detached outer building door which was behind my garage. Most importantly, no messages, emails or calls etc notifying me this. As I don’t even use this outer building often and it was behind garage, hence I never thought about to check it, until they showed me the picture, I went and check, item was not there. I also placed an amazon order which was delivered by the same delivery company Cricket Direct use, hence picture showed both items placed there, and both items were missing, but I did not know this, hence I already contacted amazon who refunded me, but Cricket Direct refused to refund me despite they did not delivered to my front door. Their customer service even asked me why I claim no receipt of this item but not amazon item, I said I already notified them I did not receive both items in my initial email, they went silent and not communicate since.
When I asked Cricket Direct to show me any messages, emails or calls that they sent to me to notify me items were placed there from themselves or delivery company, they refused to provide it. I told them I will contact my bank decline the transaction, they said they will only show to my bank, what a strange thing, they have the opportunity to show me but they refuse to show me evidence to proof it.
I give them 5 days to provide this proof, now 5 days past, no communication, so I will take this up with my bank.
I would have given this company no…
I would have given this company no stars if that was an option…absolutely shocking customer service. Not only did they sent the wrong cricket wicket keeping inners (youth size not adults!) I kindly suggest I would send them back yet they wanted us to pay for the postage otherwise they wont send the adult size that we actually paid and ordered
Absolutely disgraceful customer service
