We reside in Portugal and ordered quite a few items of cricket kit as a test for the quality of the items. At the time we checked the delivery to Europe information which then made no mention of the... See more

I would have given this company no stars if that was an option…absolutely shocking customer service. Not only did they sent the wrong cricket wicket keeping inners (youth size not adults!) I kindly suggest I would send them back yet they wanted us to pay for the postage otherwise they wont send the adult size that we actually paid and ordered
Absolutely disgraceful customer service
Avoid- cricketdirect
Not recommend, worst post sale service. U May be better off buying elsewhere. Bought pair of shoes using the quick ‘Apple pay’ option and site did not allow inputting discount code 5% for subscription which they offer. Immediately contacted customer service explaining the issue. Several emails exchanged, however they always responded with ‘ I don’t care attitude’ rude service to customer. Stay away.
Absolutely awful - no goods, still no refund
Absolutely awful
Goods not received after 7 days. Complained and agreed order cancellation and full refund. Girl operator on phone was useless, barely understandable and flatly refused to pass me to a manager. She also lied repeatedly about immediate refund. I still haven’t got my £131 back! Be warned, don’t shop with this awful retailer
Poor Customer Service
Bought two balls, but after a few days they informed me one of them was out of stock. After being offered a junior ball as a replacement (I'd ordered adult balls) we agreed a suitable replacement. Rather than send the one that was in stock and replace the out of stock ball, they swapped both for the replacement. Not what I wanted, but ridiculous to send back now. On top of that, I had to chase them for the refund as the replacement ball was cheaper. They'd 'passed it to the accounts department on the same day we confirmed the order', but it's funny how it was only processed when I chased them twice for it. Steer well clear, I certainly won't be using them again.
Disappointing customer service
Disappointing customer service. They appear not to understand what customer service is?
No email confirmation of order, phone number is not answered, web chat is very delayed.
Orders pushed out by a long duration ...
Avoid and use someone reputable
Disappointing customer service
Disappointing customer service. They appear not to understand what customer service is or how to deliver it. No interest in pro-actively looking after the customer. A huge shame and a company I will avoid in future.
Amazing
Despite all the bad reviews I decide to order an dc580 new balance bag. It came in 3 days and everything went well
Good, despite the scary reviews
Despite the scary reviews, I was pleasantly surprised.
Ordered a cricket net for our son’s birthday, on his birthday I realised they had sent me the wrong cricket net, it was a GS5 rather than an FS5 - which is why I didn’t spot the issue….minor difference in code.
Anyway, before asking for an exchange I read all the bad reviews so was a bit terrified, but needn’t have worried. I contacted them on the Sunday, and by 10:30am Monday they had collected the wrong net by courier (no charge), and by the end of the week I had the correct replacement.
Many thanks for Dilani who answered all my queries, and dealt with the issue in an efficient way.
So, although it can’t be 5 stars as would have obviously been better to have received the correct item first time, I can’t fault the service they provided outside of that.
I guess companies can change?
Never Purchase Anything With Cricket Direct
Cricket Direct are a truly dreadful company with no thought or care to their customers. I strongly advise to never purchase anything from them. I am absolutely kicking myself for not reading the reviews before purchasing. I ordered a GM Chroma Original bat, upwards of £400. It took an absolute age to arrive and after 2 uses, began to crack (despite being pre knocked in and myself knocking it in). I flagged this up with cricket direct and they said it was normal wear and tear. The cracks got worse and the bat became unusable and the hitting zone had become completely dead (I’d managed to play 2 games with it!). Again I sent it off to cricket direct (hassle in itself) and then it got sent straight back with 0 correspondence on what was happening. I have had to persistently ring and email and I have found out today they are not doing anything to help with the matter. £400 down the drain after 3 uses and not a modicum of care from Cricket Direct. Vile company. I will be emailing GM to strongly recommend they reconsider stocking their products with Cricket Direct.

I wish I read all these reviews before purchasing from Cricket Direct. Bought a £95 pair of pads which broke after 1 game. No apology from their team just a short email saying to send them back. I had to pay £11 to send them back and now they say that returns take 5-7 days to process. I’m now left without a set of pads for the weekend. Substandard service. Do not buy from these.
Charged us £6.35 for shipping and shipped 48hr Royal Mail.
Charged us £6.35 for shipping and at that price assumed it would be next day delivery but they had shipped it 48hr Royal Mail. Beware this company are charging expensive shipping but not shipping it via next day delivery instead you will receive your order 4 days laters.

Was trying to buy a catching Mitt for a Left Handed thrower ie the Mitt needs to fit on the right hand, allowing the left hand for throwing.) Following the description on the Web site (Left Handed thrower - LH Mitt) I wanted to double check with them via their messenger service. I was assured this was correct - upon receiving the Mitt, it was a Mitt that fitted on the left hand. Having paid for postage I assumed, due to their mistake, that they would issue a label to avoid me paying for delivery again, as I initially just wanted an exchange having spent the time ordering it, and double checking it. I was told over their customer services communication they do not issue labels for exchanges (so I would have to pay P&P twice for their mistake.) I was also asked to provide evidence of the advice they gave via a screen shot of the conversation - naturally I enquired why I would have to take a screen shot of the messenger chat, and that they could get it off their records anyway. I was told they did not store the information - which upon pressing them, they slipped that there IT said I would have received an email with the chat (which I had not). So this sort of behaviour was a warning signal that this company have no credibility. After two weeks of back and forth, and Cricket Direct not offering any solution I had to use PayPal as collection agent having returned the item. Paypal were very efficient, and I was refunded after 2 days of requesting their intervention. However I am actually annoyed with myself for not reading the reviews of Cricket Direct before purchase. The problem with many of these online companies is they have no accountability and clearly have little to no knowledge of the sport of cricket. I would strongly suggest spending a couple of extra pounds (potentially) to buy through a physical shop or at least a specialist shop via online where they actually have some professionalism and pride in their service. Cricket direct went from the option of issuing a return label for a return and exchange to me not wanting to spend any money with them what so ever. I also have the budget for other club purchases which could have been a potential client. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere to save some of your time. In addition I cannot imagine they will be around for much longer under this name (judging by other reviews) so you really do not want to be chasing kit or money back in this situation.
Worst Service and Products
I ordered a £239 bat and received it 2 weeks later when the website suggested 3-5 working days.
When this was queried this message was I will chase DPD but there is nothing we can do.
When chased again they did not respond.
Very poor customer service - do not waste your time and money buying from these guys!!!
Incredibly rude customer service
Incredibly rude customer service. Received someone else's item with their delivery label and information on. Tried to rectify this and get another sent out. Tina was very rude and unhelpful, so many emails going back and forth over something that wasn't my fault. Could have been dealt with so much more professionally - an apology goes a long way! Was such an ordeal to get a refund and we ended up repaying for postage for the them sending out the second item.
Have been put off ordering from here again because of this.
Avoid CricketDirect at all costs
Avoid CricketDirect at all costs - they delivered the wrong item, told me it was my responsibility to return it and they wouldn't release the correct item until they received the wrong item back. Asked for a refund and they eventually agreed to send a courier to pick up the wrong item, which they received back last week, but they have not sent the refund, despite repeated requests and no response from another chaser today.
Have opened a payment dispute with my bank - hopefully they get enough of these that their own bank will get fed up with them and close them down.
Rude and unhelpful staff - awful customer service.
Save yourself time and aggravation by using a better company.
Do not order from here, no customer service at all
After placing an order 10 days ago with no contact, I contacted cricket direct to be told an item was requiring restocking. I had to choose an alternative after me contacting them, items delivered with one item missing, got back in touch and yet again item out of stock, they do not try to help. No customer service at all. Will never order from here again
Poor
Unfortunately I am yet to receive an order placed 18 days ago. I have been notified by the courier on 3 separate occasions to say the ordered will be delivered, but on each occasion they do not attempt delivery. It is not possible to speak to the courier and their live chat facility doesn't work. It is also not possible to speak to cricket direct (I have called > 10 times now). So I would strongly recommend avoiding this company.
Bizarre saga
I ordered a new Kahuna cricket bat, stupidly without reading any reviews of Cricket Direct first. I paid around £300 for the bat plus an extra £20 for it to be knocked in. I began to feel concerned after nearly two weeks having received absolutely no update, so I emailed Cricket Direct on a Tuesday asking what was happening and they replied the same day saying it would be shipped by the end of the week.
This didn’t happen so I decided to read reviews of the website and was shocked to see they were almost all terrible. At this point I sent another email pointing this out and raising my concerns and received no reply.
When I sent another email the following Tuesday threatening to complain I was then told the bat would be delivered that same day and sure enough, there it was when I got home from work, in seemingly perfect condition. I was obviously very relieved about this but having had the bat for a few weeks now it has become clear that it is in no way “ready to play” and instead appears not to have been knocked in at all. Based on other reviews I am not going to bother trying to get some money back as it seems more hassle than it’s worth. Overall glad I got the bat but the communication was awful and I will be very wary of using Cricket Direct again.
Poor
Poor. Called and spoke to someone after nothing arrived told stock issues and definitely be delivered in 2 days. Now 1 week late delivering. No emails. No calls. Lack of communication. No tracking of bought goods.
Poor customer service and xero returns policy
Ordered some batting gloves for my daughter. First time she used them they became faulty, split down the seams. Unable to use them now as they do not give sufficient protection. Informed CricketDirect within 30 days but they are refusing to refund as the item is 'used'. Customer service emails are abrupt and rude, they are offering xero customer service. They have only offered to 'inspect' the gloves if I burden the cost of returning them.
