Terrible company Avoid at all costs. Eventually had my payment refunded by PayPal after they did not meet their next day collection advertisement. Very poor communication if any at all.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Dodgy scam. Failed to collect and deliver several times. Promised a refund which never arrived. They have had my money for nearly 4 weeks and are not responding to any messages. Had to drive 300 mile trip ourselves to collect the bike. They send out confirmations with APC but APC had no record of my job and they told me to report them to Trading Standards because it was all a scam. New owner in August 2019 Adam Broadbent - looking at his history of dissolved companies and some of the reviews about those businesses, I wish I had checked his record before spending over £50 with them. AVOID It's a scam and you won't get your money back without a fight.

Stay well away. They failed to collect 3 times and i had to re-arrange with another courier. They now ignore all my emails and a month later i have not received my money back. Luckily i paid with Paypal and I have now raised as a dispute. Disgusting.

Have reported Cycle Sent @cyclesent to Trading Standards here in the UK. It is entirely unreasonable to accept payment for courier pick-up and then fail to meet your contractual obligations. I've had to pay a second time for another pick-up through Parcelforce so I didn't let down the nice man who bought our bike on Ebay.

The guy who picked my bike was amazing. It was a light fit past a car on the driveway and he took it totally in his stride. I’m sure my heavy 23 kg old fashioned bike weighed the full 25 kg by time I added on the lock and helmet.
I was sceptical and it certainly took longer ( and cost more) from Northern Ireland to lancs than the 24 hours within UK advertised but the box arrived and I got it packed and I could only praise the service. Would use cycle went again.
The worst customer service !
Customer Service is completely non existent. I own a bicycle shop & was using this company for awhile but whenever there is a problem no one will answer the phone & it takes an age to get a reply to e mail .
They use APC couriers for all U.K. deliveries and the several issues I had ended up being dealt with by APC direct who have been fab. I now send directly with APC for 1/3 of the charge of cyclesent .
I was also owed a refund from a previous failed collection but was told the company changed management and wouldn’t be honoured .

Needed to courier my bike home as no room for it on the sleeper train back from Crianlarich. I packed it in to a bike box and left it in Oban Cycles care, thanks guys, for the courier to pick up the next day. It was safely delivered to our home in Basingstoke 2 days later in the same condition I had packed it.

Don't use this company. They are dreadful. No customer service at all. They have lost my bike after waiting 3 days to have it collected. It has not been delivered the next day and they don't know where it is. If you don't know they don't collected or deliver anything. They just arrange for someone else to do it. This is not a special bike delivery service as advertised and you can not send anything without it being packed in a box despite the fact that the Web page states a price for an un boxed delivery. I wish I had never been stupid to believe what their web page says. What a nightmare
Good and timely service but could be better!
Good service and timely service, priced fairly. I purchased the box which was left as instructed by me outside my house: from the video I understood they would send this wrapped in plastic to protect from weather but this was not the case. It rained a little before I was able to put the box inside and ruined it in a couple of places. Also, phone line is never answered which I don’t think is ideal.

Used Cycle Sent twice recently and booking system was easy and pickups and deliveries were spot on. It would be helpful to have “text-ahead” notes from courier. Otherwise super service.
Beware these couriers, that don’t actually courier the bikes
I was recommended to use cyclesent to send my bike to have some work undertaken on it... I firstly tried to call them to discuss requirements, which I thought was fair, but the number on the website is never answered, they want to do everything online, which is fine until you have an issue, then they don’t answer emails. Failing their box size requirements by 5cm I decided to purchase a box from cyclesent, which arrived the next day, and speaking to the courier, I soon realised that despite flash pictures on the website, cyclesent don’t actually touch the bikes, just being the middlemen! Which explained why the box arrived at the destination with evidence that it had been crushed and handled badly.
They will of course hide behind the fact that you “should have packed your bike better”, so the insurance you take out is worthless! As they tell you that any claims have to made within 24hrs! Which is crazy......
In summary poorly explained business, no human contact, and they don’t courier the bikes.... pay a bit more and go to a specialist bike courier, that value your bike as much as you do......
