My order was delivered securely but an entire day late, making it really inconvenient for me and the seller. I tried the customer service helpline and never got through - they did reply by email but didn't explain why they'd missed the booked date. Probably won't use again sorry.

Overall, good service
I have sent 20+ bikes using cycle sent over the past couple of years. Generally they are very good, collecting the bike the day following and delivering it the day after that. Occasionally I have to wait a second day before collection if ordered after working hours. The boxes they provide are easy to assemble and so far we have had no breakages or problems. The courier firm they use are APC who are friendly and reliable. I have three problems stopping me give 5 stars: 1.No shipping labels to put on the box and I am worried that if a box did get lost it might not be traceable. 2. As a business user, I would like them to include VAT on their receipts so that I can claim back the VAT 3. Scotland is not a separate country and I resent paying a supplement to send there. Highlands and Islands ok, but surely not for Glasgow.........

What a great service - rather than driving for miles to pick up a bike Cycelsent did the job for me at what is a reasonable price. Only issue was with courier company who delivered the box a day later then expected so put the person sending the bike to me at an inconvienience. Having said that the communication over this issue from Cyclesent could not have been any better.
Would recommend and use again.

I bought a bike on Ebay and arranged for it to be collected from the seller. After being let down by another courier not showing up within the 12 hour timeslot. The (very fed up) seller suggested trying Cycle Sent, as he'd sold another bike at the same time and the buyer had used Cycle Sent, who turned up in the morning to collect the bike. They were fab. I paid for the narrow timeslot and they collected the bike on time and delivered next day. Highly recommended.

Wheely Great Service - Highly Recommended
First Class, efficient service with great customer care and tracking . Bike collected on Friday a.m. delivered Monday a.m. to the opposite end of the country for a very reasonable price. I totally recommend Cyclesent and would definitely use again.

Communication was really poor
Communication was really poor, had to chase them to find out where my order was at. Box never even arrived so I had to make one! Said they would investigate but not hear anything since... Your better off just using a normal courier for a larger load, cheaper and way more flexible. Buy a cardboard bike box online, pack it well, insure it and drop off/ choose your collection time (rather than taking a whole day off work because they can't give you a specific time) with a standard courier. In fairness the bike arrived next day but that was about the only positive.

Poor service
Poor service, Regular carriers are equally good and competitive. Difficult to make contact. Transported bike to work twice with no courier showing up.
I've now realised that Parcelforce will happily take the bike and I can deliver to their depot rather than messing about waiting in for the courier that never shows up.
Now hoping for a refund, lets see how that goes............
Communication is critical, they fail at the first hurdle.
Honestly, I've never had an experience like this when using a courier.
I had to send something for delivery next day, pickup on a Tuesday, I booked on a Monday around 3pm, I've used other couriers in the past and normally you get an email with the order reference and details of when it'll be picked up as well as a tracking number, not with these folks. I sent an email and left a voicemail to see if someone would let me know what the next steps were and as this absolutely had to go today I ended up having to book another courier to uplift.
I will say that they were very nice when they did eventually email me the next day, but the communication from the company is absolutely not acceptable, if we're using a 3rd party company to arrange these deliveries it so that we don't have to have the hassle of chasing up couriers ourselves, all your doing is swapping that part out for following up with these folks.
tl;dr Save yourself some time, look at alternative companies who will communicate with you and be responsive in their customer service.

As I have reviewed elsewhere, if someone is in when they decide to collect and deliver I’m sure it’s an acceptable service. If not expect no customer service, no communication and to do a load of chasing to track down your delivery. They have bad reviews for a reason so pay notice to them!
As an update to this, I also lost the bike I had attempted to ship.
Avoid like the plague. You have been warned.

The worst service possible they never did pick up the bike they do not do the service themselves but farm it out to other companies when they did not arrive to pick up the bike they told me to contact the local courier gave me the telephone number because they themselves could not get through to them who after waiting for ages eventually answered the phone to tell me I had to have the consignment no which of course I did not have as I had not booked it cyclesent had so they would not talk to me the bike was never picked up so I had to employ another firm and I am now awaiting a refund. they take your money under false pretences all they do is give the work to another firm
