I booked a delivery on Sunday evening…

I booked a delivery on Sunday evening for Tuesday. As I hadn't received any confirmation email by mid-morning on Monday I emailed and phoned repeatedly, but only received a response by morning on the Tuesday by which time I had given up and booked with an alternative courier company who confirmed immediately and picked up later that day!

Two stars rather than one as they did reply, apologised and will refund

All good, posted a bike from Northern Ireland to Wales. Booked on a Monday and cycle received in Wales the following Monday.

THE worst experience I have had with a…

THE worst experience I have had with a courier company. Terrible communication, no common sense, bike took over a week to arrive and when it did the bicycle had damage to the rear derailleur and crank. They will be replying to this review with their side of the story but don't believe a word of it. I recommend not going anywhere near this company. DO NOT USE.

On this occasion we did deliver the following day which is the service you booked but unfortunately no one was in at your address to receive the goods upon delivery. It is important that someone is in to receive and sign for the goods.

Poor communication

All seemed fine to start with. I booked at 10am and fairly quickly received an email telling me that the bike would be picked up by 5pm. I replied asking if I needed to label the box or if the courier would do that. It took 2 days to be told that the courier would bring the box label. Having not had a reply I put a label on the box anyway. The bike was picked up at 4.15 by APC. They didn't give me a receipt or anything and cyclesebt never gave me a tracking number. 2 days later I emailed cyclesent to confirm delivery only to receive an email telling me that it was a failed pickup and I had to pay £10 for a repeat. I told them that the bike had been picked up 2 days before and that I wanted to know where it was! I heard nothing for another 2 days and then received an email from cyclesent apologising for the confusion but asking me if the bike had been delivered. Finally today I received notification that the bike was delivered the day after pickup - 5 days ago! Although the service seemed to work the communication is appalling and there appears to be no way to track the delivery. I would think very hard before using this company again!

Thank you for your review. Your order was placed on the morning of the 24th and collected that same day and then delivered the following working day, as per your order placed. The confusion over your order was when you chased delivery of your bike after the bike had actually been delivered which we do apologize about. We did have one failed delivery that day which had been taken back to the depot, so upon us chasing delivery of the bike, the depot thought that we were questioning the only bike consignment which had been returned back to the delivery hub!
We will look into why you didn't receive any tracking information, this is normally sent via email with a confirmation of your consignment number and tracking URL. This then goes live once the bike is back at the delivery hub Depot where the delivery Labels are also applied.

Reliable friendly and helpful

I used Cyclesent to courier a bike from London to Birmingham. I had not heard of them before so this was the first time I had used them. They were great- quick to answer a query I had before collection, a friendly courier and the bike delivered safe and sound on time.

I am planning to use them again in the next few weeks.

Thought it would be a stright and…

Thought it would be a stright and simple process !! order a bike box and have it delivered.
I purchased an adults bIcycle from ebay and arranged collection by courier service .
I placed an order on a Monday afternoon for a bike box, bubble wrap and packing tape but it was after the 2pm deadline for (overnight next day delivery service) . I was informed that it would now arrive on Wednesday."No problem ."
I received a confirmation email from cyclesent and Apc couriers of confirmation of the order and the item can be tracked.
I tried tracking my order, but no box had been forwarded to Apc as they also confirmed this over the telephone. Sent emails to cyclesent as you CANNOT speak to anyone. Email response is not to bad . I was informed that delivery will be before 5pm.
I still could not track order. Email sent .
I received an email on Thursday morning stating that there has been an error in the system and would be upgraded for next day delivery (Friday)
Yet again could not track order, spoke to Apc again on Friday morning 9.am having the same answer to contact cyclesent. I emailed cyclesent to cancel the order .
The box arrived around 1pm , and it didn't contain my full order as the packing tape was missing.
Emails sent, was informed of a refund but still haven't received confirmation that it has been repayed. Now over 7 days still waiting as of date of review

I want a refund for the services you did not fulfil!!!!!
- Shocking communication
- Nobody answers my 10 calls
- 2 replies to my 9 emails
- Bike wasn’t collected on booked day! Still not collected a day later.
- Tracking number didn’t work as per your email
- No email from the courier with an updates as per your email

so many more reasons

Horrendous service - do not trust them to send your bike!

Having just relocated from Eastbourne to Norfolk, I was looking for a way to send my last bike up without having to drive to Eastbourne myself to collect it, hence why I came across Cycle Sent.

I arranged the pick up for Monday but received limited confirmation and was unable to get hold of the company and sure enough no courier arrived. Cycle Sent eventually emailed me at 7:05pm asking if it had been collected... it hadn't.

The following day, I had to ask my grandparents to stay in all day for the second day running to wait for collection on the off chance someone would show up to which they have not arrived. I have sent numerous emails and tried to call in excess of 10 times but have had no answer and have made it through to voice mail just once.

I do not trust this company to get my quite expensive bike to me safely and would like to cancel my booking and receive a refund so that I can seek alternative arrangements to get my bike, but the clear lack of professionalism, customer service and idea what they are doing is preventing me - i have now told my grandparents to not release the bike to anyone working for or in partnership with this disgraceful company.

If cycle sent would like to follow up on this - my order number is #8806.

Where's my bike?

My bike was collected from Taunton 6 weeks ago and has never arrived at my house in Suffolk. Despite several emails from myself and sender we have been met with excuses then subsequent silence from this company. I would NEVER risk using them again. I am very suspicious of the good reviews I have read. They just do not care, it seems. Meanwhile they have taken the sender's money. No compensation has been offered.

I’m having a terrible time with this…

I’m having a terrible time with this company three weeks down the line and still no bike . E mailing daily and not getting any answers !! I’m so upset my son is waiting for his new bike and the school run is a nightmare . I really hope that I will come back here to day it’s sorted but I am feeling really hopeless it cost a lot of money £78 pounds to get a bike from Northern Ireland to London that I bought on eBay it’s a children’s bike and when the box was delivered the buyer first said they told him to take the pedals off but he didn’t have the tools I though the whole point was getting a box to put the bike in directly ?? Then the courier said they couldn’t collect as they hadn’t been paid by cycle sent the seller is so annoyed also and can’t get any satisfaction from this third party courier the cycle sent message and customer service email doesn’t respond to Any questions . I’m just at a total loss can anyone advise me !??

To Be honest I read some reviews and…

To Ben honest I read some reviews and was abit worried, but my bike got to the buyer in quick time. Only negative I recived no tracking number when they collected it. And they came to Try collect it on the day I didn’t say...and the day I did say they didn’t collect it. But collected it day after. Overal did it’s job

Occasionally depending on times the order is received will determine if you have met the cut off time for same / following day collections but we will look into this.
You should of received a tracking number once booking confirmed which then goes live once the package is back at the delivery hub depot.

If you would like a CycleSent anywhere then I would highly recommend you don’t ever consider using CycleSent.! Got told more lies than the elephant man . “Sorry it’s not our fault, the courier didn’t know how to use his scanner” CRAZY! AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID . Don’t bother trying to ring their customer service number either unless you want to be greeted by a man who sounds like he’s drunk in the bath.

Beyond awful can’t even begin to…

Beyond awful can’t even begin to describe how useless this company are! Absolutely not customer service! Called in excess of 30 times over 2 days leaving voicemail. Sent numerous emails that took nearly a day to get a response from and then even still they didn’t have a clue what was going on! Box arrived soggy on the bottom and missing all staples from one side!!! Also tried to charge me extra for a service I had already paid for!! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! There are far better companies out there! Save your self the hassle this company are garbage in ever aspect!!!

Really poor service. Try APC directly

Paid for 24 hour courier service from Cycle Sent but never revived any order confirmation or pick-up arrangements.
Sub contracted courier (APC) left message to pick up bike with 30 mins notice when no-one was in. Luckily APC guy lived just around corner so was happy to pick up bike after work and put through APC system next day.
Bike turned up with buyer 24 hours late and without any response to tel message left nor email sent to Cycle Sent.
This level of service gave me no confidence in the ability of Cycle Sent to ensure the quick and safe couriering of what is a bulky and expensive item and so i cannot recommend them at all.
I suggest going through APC directly as they were very good and miss this middleman out of the equation.
