Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless. Zero communication about no show from courier. No replies to phone messages or emails trying to help them by making sure I was in when the courier was coming. Finally received an email telling me the bike had been collected, when it is clearly still in my house. Avoid

Awful service

Awful service. Took days to reply to my emails, and I had to phone up several times to see why they were not replying. I paid £26.99 for delivery of a bike however because they couldn’t tell me when they were collecting it it was not available when the driver arrived. They then charged me an extra £12 to recollect. Which they never did. After all this messing me about I decided to cancel the service and ask for a refund. Which surprise surprise I have had no response from Crish at Cyclesent since. This was a week ago. I don’t know how you can run a business and claim to be at such a high level of customer service, you certainly are not. Will never use again. Still want my refund.

Your order confirmation email stated day of collection between the hours of 8am -5pm. Noone was home when the courier arrived and then you requested the courier to come after 4pm which we cannot gaurantee because collections are between 8am and 5pm. We then arranged for you to leave the bike in a safe place for collection and reattempted collection but the bike was not in that place so we had yet another failed collection. Sorry the service didn’t work out for you on this occasion.

Booked and paid for a collection

Booked and paid for a collection. Took a day off work and no collection made. Called the number from the confirmation e-mail and advised by the recorded message to e-mail. E-mailed three times over two days and still await a reply. The bike is still boxed waiting for a collection.
To date no e-mails have had replies, refund requested and await a response.

Bargain but tracking info minimal.

Ideally I could have done with more information on collection dates and delivery dates earlier on in the process, or the tracking information could have been more readily available as both the seller and I were in the dark regarding exact dates. Perhaps this was because of the weekend collection?
However, the bike arrived in perfect condition with no damage to the packaging and once we received delivery information the bike was delivered on time - all for £24! I mean, really, I can't complain about any service that only costs £24 to collect and deliver a bike the length of the country. Absolute bargain.

Little bit patchy but got there in the end!

After shaky start, all went well. Courier failed to collect as planned on arranged day. However, after collection was made on the following day, all went smoothly. Very happy with how the bike was handled by the courier assigned to carry it and with the tracking information giving accurate time for delivery.
The drawback using Cyclesent is there is no way, other than sending email message, that you can reach them to be reassured as necessary. However, they do offer a very competitively priced service since the delivery is pretty quick (overnight) once consignment is collected.

Same experience as all the other one star reviews

Same experience as all the other one star reviews, box was delivered to wrong address, bike wasn't collected on the specified day and reply to emails asking for info only replied to after 5 days. Tracking info provided in emails was wrong. All in all, one to avoid.

A truely awful experience

A truely awful experience. Communication with Cycle Sent ranges from extremely bad to non-existent. This made the whole process of collecting and delivering a bike stressful and complicated when I hoped that using a courier who specified in bikes would make it easy.
I was unaware that Cycle Sent are just a middle man who take your order and then place an order with a standard courier Company.
I had someone waiting in at the collection address especially but could not advise them when collection would be as the tracking number never registered with the courier and hence no updates on its progress were ever available. Many e-mails, telephone calls and messages (through the Cycle Sent website) were just ignored and never answered. I just got the impression that as soon as the order is placed Cycle Sent were not interested. Maybe when is all works out ok and they dont need to get involved that when you get the satisfied customers, but when it needs customer service Cycle Sent do not appear to have any.

A confirmation was sent via email of your order for collection on the date requested . This collection as per confirmation would of been between the hours of 8-5pm and then once collected can be tracked through the depot link .
I believe your collection and delivery happened on your requested days so you received the service booked.

Bought a bike on EBay last week & used…

Bought a bike on EBay last week & used these guys to get it from Leeds to Canterbury. The pick up slot had to be changed as there was loads of snow, but their customer services sorted it all out ok for me. I thought it a reasonably priced service which worked fine esp given the weather challenges. Can’t really complain about it.

A complete scam

I am having a terrible experience; I paid £145 for my bike to be sent to Guernesey, received an order confirmation from cycle sent but the courier never came to pick-it up. The "company" is neither returning my emails nor my phone calls so I eventually just called the shipping company who told me that they had never received any order with my name: i.e. cycle sent just completely faked the whole thing and gave me a fake order number.

Don't trust their overall trust pilot rating I did the same mistake, if you look at the detail of the reviews it's either people like me who got completely robbed or 5 star reviews.. that simply tells that the guy behind this is busy writing fake reviews rather than answering phones calls and running a proper business

AVOID

AVOID. This company seems great on the face of it, but in fact they just purely outsource delivery to couriers and as a result they take little care or interest if anything goes wrong with the delivery itself. They never seem to pick up their phone, the answer machine recording is simply weird, the box didn't arrive with packing material as instructed, and most importantly the customer service via email was very unhelpful. As far as I can see there is nothing to be gained from using them, and in future I will use a courier directly.

It is a shame you felt so let down by customer services when they did appear to respond to all communication. On this occasion I understand the recipient was asked to call the local courier depot reference delivery. This is normally due to either the recipient not being in to accept delivery or to confirm actual delivery address if not recognized on there system. We will make this more clear if occurs for future customers.

Totally feckless

A terrible experience with Cyclesent. They managed to lose my bike... to be honest, this is forgiveable in my view as, whilst that seems like a surprisingly clumsy thing to have done, I appreciate that everyone makes mistakes.

What I am not able to excuse is the derisory response of Cyclesent to my enquiries. Their phone number seems to be totally un-manned and they have not picked up any of my calls (literally 27 in total across the last few days). They are equally useless by email, simply reply about once evry 24 hours saying "I will call the courier to find out what's happening" and then never responding.

At present the situation is still unresolved without any update from Cyclesent as to what is going on.

I’ve never had such an appalling experience of any customer service- I am not a natural complainer.

-Company just deals with logistic companies, they don’t courier your bike themselves
-The courier sent went to the wrong building and left after being told there was nothing to collect. I had spoken to cycle sent and the depot to confirm that the driver would call my phone on arrival, this was assured to me.
-All I have received is an auto email saying:

‘Sadly your order 9121137 // 6915 was a failed collection yesterday- as there is nothing to collect.

Please can you follow this link, which will allow you to pay the re-collection fee and let us know when you would like this attempted again.’

-The depot just say I need to speak to cycle sent
-I now cant contact the company on phone, email or Facebook: nothing for 2 days of persistent attempts. I’m not paying a re-collection fee and need the company to organise proper collection with the company who actually do the logistics.
-At this point cycle sent have left me completely stuck and confused with no possible option for contact, refund, or a way forward.

-I’m getting very unhappy. The only option I could see would be to call in to the registered address for cycle sent on my way up north late tomorrow night to receive my refund + compensation for petrol and time due to route deviation from the M1. I’d be even less happy if that address turned out to be an incorrect address of company registration

The information you have stated here is entirely incorrect and shouldn’t let you off the hook to other readers:
1: The courier did not try to call my phone on collection- I can provide phone records. I very clearly asked for this before as I said it was was essential for locating me- the address isn’t incorrect at all.
2: In terms of email contact- you are talking about the ones you sent as soon as I went on here, you wouldn’t answer phone or email for 2 days previous to this trustpilot review.
3: Don’t try to blur the appearance of this interaction: the fact is that you don’t have a phone number that is actually manned and emails don’t get answered: I can prove this with 2 days of records.
I have just called the depot again after you sent me a new consignment number- they told me that collection is booked for tomorrow: you didn’t inform me of this earlier you just asked ‘When can we collect the bike please?’, which makes it sound like collection would be today. If I hadn’t have called them, which is a pain, then I wouldn’t know

If it was a missed collection that was quickly resolved I wouldn’t be so fussed: the problem is that you can’t run a company without providing good communication to your customers

I am sorry you have a bad experience. However, sadly you did not give us the correct address when you booked the service, nor were you able to answer the telephone when the couriers tried to collect. We try very hard to provide immediate customer service and take this sort of criticism very seriously. In this case we have tried to resolve the issue with at least 16 emails backwards and forwards to do so. Our hours of business are 9am to 4pm daily and look to respond in a timely manner, not withstanding the volume of orders we are dealing with. We are, as a gesture of goodwill looking to recollect this for free. Kindest regards

first time with a cycle delivery service. The Courier picked up my bike up from work at 2:30 and had clearly moved plenty of bikes before. Delivered at 8:30 the following morning, courier at other end gave me a quick bell for directions. Would use them again.
