I have bought the plan because of Emma at the funeral directors. Also the flexibility of the plan and full money back guarantee along the way if anything happens whilst paying. I can only hope none... See more

Fantastic very pleased as my mother had a beautiful send off with dignity fun5
Excellent service
We got our Dignity plan through a local funeral director, and the representative, Haley, was incredible. She was extremely professional, very knowledgeable, she was patient and took time for us to absorb each detail.
The plan was exactly what we were looking for and at a very reasonable price. Very happy.

Cost Effective
I did my research and went with Dignity as it was the most competitively priced for what I want. Website is easy to use and added bonus of being able to pay monthly instalments at no added cost.
Very good support
We had a very, very good experience with our consultant Monica Guerrero at JH Kenyon in London. I spoke with her on the phone a couple of times, exchanged various emails, and met twice. All throughout she was very patient and replied quickly.
The Dignity website is very clear and easy to navigate.
I would definitely recommend them.
Outstanding professionals with a heart of gold
The whole experience was one of professionalism but with an understanding of how emotional it all is for the customer. I was guided through the process by Sarah and made to feel special. The team in Accrington were all very kind and approachable. Thank you for making a difficult day very individual for Brian.
Peace of mind
It was wonderful to be able to book a face to face appointment instead of online only.
Sam was very helpful and professional and we left feeling our final journey would be taken care of and our wishes respected. I would highly recommend.

I was with Pride planning who went into liquidation my 2 plans was passed over to dignity. These 2 plans are nearly finished, Recieved a email to say my plans have been cancelled due to the 3 missed payments. I agreed to pay these 3 missed payments but they said they could not open the plans back up. Wait for this they said they can only give us the money back what we have paid to them not what pride planning have recieved. . I am taking this further i have lost nearly 6000 POUNDS. . Spoke to complaints they have done nothing to help me. If they want to cancel my plans i want all my money back. I have been so destressed over this matter its making me ill
Look at the reply from them. No compassion.

Good plan flexibility. Good payment options.
Disgraceful company
Disgraceful company backing out their obligation to pay on technicalities that was no fault of the deceased even though all payments were made. You should be ashamed of yourself, do not trust.

The reason I took out My own plan was because my late mother had a plan with Dignity. From the moment I called Kirkwood's where my mum had taken her plan out they done absolutely everything for us as a family, All we had to do was be there. The staff especially Amanda who dealt with me, Nothing was to much trouble for her. I love the way the plan lets you be in full control of what happens to you after your death. I was able to include the cost of the inscription and wording for my headstone. Pay in advance for order of services etc. The plan lets you decide what you want leaving family to get on with things and not having to worry about what you would have wanted. I can highly recommend for the services they provided and cost.
The meaning of transfer shouldnt be questionable
we received a letter asking if we would like to transfer our funeral plans from Empathy to Dignity , we were offered a refund if we decided to decline. At the time we had 3 plans my farther in laws pre paid plan(£3000) and my wife and I had a monthly plan. At no point were we informed Empathy were going into administration, so we signed the forms and posted them in good time. My farther in law passed away recently so when we rang Dignity they had nothing on their system regarding the paid up plan. Dignity have a q&a page which states the Empathy plan is transferred ????? absolutely no money already paid has been transferred so we paid for the recent funeral from savings. My advice would be to put a lump sum into a trustworthy relatives account for your own funeral.

Avoid like the plague!!!
Last week I asked Dignity for a quote for a basic, no-frills funeral and they gave me a price, sent me some paperwork and added me to their mailing list.
I decided to go ahead and rang them today to sort it all out.
They then told me their price had gone up by £300.00!
I told them that they had not informed me of any rise in prices and it was only three days (last Sunday) since I received their latest missive.
They would not budge and steadfastly stuck to their 'revised' price.
Take it or leave it. 😡😡
Another clear indication of pure greed!
I can quite understand prices going up but to go back on a quote within just 3 days shows what sort of company they have become. And if they had warned me of an impending price rise, I might well have responded differently.
But they didn't. 🙄🙄
I think their actions in this respect were (are) unforgivable. Sorting out funerals is not the easiest of tasks and their actions here left such a lot to be desired.
And the irony? - I used to work for them - and I have also used them for three family funerals in the past too!
So much for loyalty then eh? 😞😞
They have become an unpleasant a joke!
I have to say that the company has changed a lot since I was there. They used to be caring. They used to have a friendly staff who always put their services before profit. They were a company I was proud to work for and be a part of.
But not anymore….
All I can say is avoid Dignity Funerals like the plague.
I certainly have and will certainly never go back.

I’m so glad that I chose Robert Ayling for my late husband’s funeral. From the first phone call, I knew that they would be exemplary, and they surpassed every expectation. Abby was so sensitive and kind in guiding me through setting up the funeral. Rachael, our celebrant, understood exactly what was needed during the service. John was reassuring as our funeral director on the day of the funeral. Everyone who I spoke to or dealt with were so helpful and understanding. Everything was above and beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend Robert Ayling as a funeral company.
