Unreliable store, DO NOT BUY from them!

I purchased two items from this website. One never arrived, and the seller confirmed they are out of stock of this item and happy to provide refund. However they never processed refund, and I could not even get any money back from Paypal because I waited too long for the refund! The other item is faulty, again no information in terms of how to swap for replacement. A total of 134GBP is wasted!

Ridiculous

I placed the order on 22/03, still no sign of it. Sent 2 emails, messaged via Facebook and tried to call- no answer (and yes, I did call during time they should be opened). Waste of time, I will contact my bank today to get a refund.

My order wasn't in stock so I waited patiently for six weeks and its now beyond the date they said it would be back in stock and I have heard nothing. They are completely uncontactable as many of the other reviews have mentioned. I have tried phoning and emailing

Not thrilled, but did come through in the end

Not thrilled. I tried DiveLife because their website listed the item I wanted as in-stock and for a good price. Weeks after placing my order I had still heard nothing. I tried several times to contact them, but emails are not responded to and the chat they refer to doesn't actually exist. Only way to reach them is by phone, which is pretty expensive from Canada. Turns out the item I ordered wasn't actually in stock, so had to wait longer. Then I got an email saying they had to charge me more for shipping as the website was wrong. So in the end the item was neither in stock nor a really good price. I did eventually get what I ordered after a month.

Poor communication, poor stock management, misleading website

Should have really listened to the reviews on here but instead I decided to give them a chance. Been informed that there are at lease 2 weeks delay on my order, which wouldnt work for me. From the reviews on here it seems to be a common situation with this shop so I’ve paid attention to this before ordering. It said Available, ship in 2-3 days, clearly NOT. As of today, after they told me there is no stock in the UK, it’s still said on their website that it’s ready to be shipped in 2-3 days, ridiculous?

Their website mentioned chat box (no where to be found) or facebook messenger, for which I received a automatic response that they only deal with trips on social media(???). There is a phone number, from their website working hours are only on 3 days a week.

If I had known that its this hard to get in touch with them, I will never order, so beware!

Added further to DLS’s response:

I do want to cancel (order DLS14326-23) so appreciate if could please action that as soon as possible. There seems to be no way to contact your business to cancel except for on here!

Hi Daisy, we normally have these masks in stock, but we've just been cleared out by a large order. The importer also normally has them in stock but they have just been cleared out by us. As a result it's taken a little longer than expected. We let you know of the delay as soon as we found out and as stated in the email we have 2 batches being sent to us, and we'll make sure you get from the first batch. If the advertised delay doesn't work for you we are more than happy to cancel your order for you.

Poor comms. Slow delivery. Wrong item

Ordered fins before Christmas. Got an email to confirm the order straight away and then...nothing for over a month. Almost impossible to contact, telephone number never answered. No one got back to me until I mentioned I might post publicly on social media if I couldn't resolve. Miraculously, a pair of fins arrived in the post shortly after. They were different from the ones ordered but, by that point, I couldn't be bothered to try and rectify TBH.

1) You placed your order for an item with an advertised 2 week lead time, just before the holiday closure.

2) Unfortunately mares didn't have the fins you wanted, so we ordered you the model up at our expense

3) 2 weeks after we re opened after the holiday your items were shipped.

The fins you have received are 30% more expensive than the ones you paid for, we had assumed you would have been happy with this, if not we are most happy to receive them back for a full refund.

I placed an order on 21/12/2023 and was given delivery time scales of 2-4 working days. nothing received from them in January 2024, even after emailed them asking for a refund. So, raised a charge back with my bank and then two days later had a email with tracking details and a email asking for the charge back to be canceled. tried emailing them back to say i no longer want the goods however its a "no-reply" email address. no way to email company on their website and the "chat" function has been taken down. avoid this company like the plague. completely worked in bad faith sending me the goods once a charge back was raised but couldn't be bothered to email me to let me know what was happening with my order before that. looking at other reviews looks like they do this a lot. I will not be using them again. joke of a company.

The charge back was raise before the product was sent. Once the company received the charge back request from my bank. That’s when they sent the goods out and asked me to cancel the CB request.
I work in fraud and disputes so I understand the process. If they where honest and told me the good were out of stock when the order was placed then this would have been a none event.

Hi Charlie, unfortunately, the boltsnaps (which were due to be delivered Dec, got stuck in customs and XDEEP UK had told us several times they were due. They finally arrived last week and we got them out the same day they arrived. All customers who had these outstanding were emailed in early January with an apology, we do appreciate that emails sometimes land in SPAM folders.

We took the Chat function down in December due to issues with it, and are available on phone during our shop open days tue/wed/thu all day.

We got your chargeback the day after we shipped them, but that could just be coincidental. The fact is NO retailer in the UK had these snaps and we were the first one to have them back in stock
