Our dog is called Basil who is a cross between a German Shepherd and a Labrador.
His first harness as a puppy belonged to our Candy who is no longer with us. Within a couple of months he had pulled the buckle off the harness due to his strength or poor stitching.
The second harness was new and Basil was now about 6 months. Again with his strength the buckle came away from the harness, just ripped the stitching to pieces.
He was now at puppy training school and his trainer recommended PerfectFit.
Service was excellent and we received Basil's new harness which fitted perfectly. It is very well padded and he looks very comfortable in it. The harness is very well made and robust and comes in three sections, all adjustable.
What I like about this harness should he pull the buckle off the harness or damage the stitching, you can simply purchase that part of the harness which is considerably cheaper than a full harness. The other two harness's were one piece. Not that I think he will be able to damage his new one in any way.
We have got him the Hi Vis Yellow which is brilliant.

We also decided to purchase the 2m Training Lead in Hi Vis Yellow. This can be altered to a number of lengths along with clipping it to the back of the harness and the other end to his chest section should he prove difficult in walking.
Basil is now 1yr old and a lot bigger aswell as stronger and I think this is the best harness we have ever purchased for one of our dogs.

I have the 2m leash and absolutely love it. Also the customer service is excellent probably one of the best experiences ever. Will be recommending to everyone I know.

After years of using Julius K9 harness's for my dogs one of them failed after 18 months at the lead buckle. I contacted them to be told it was a fake one (bought off Amazon) and there was nothing they could do, apparently there's a lot about.
So decided to try Perfect fit. A great move. Yes they are expensive,but you're getting comfort and safety for your dogs, and you can tell these are built to last,and if eventually one bit fails, then you're not left buying the whole harness, just the part that needs replacing.
My dogs aren't ones from escaping from their harnesses, but looking at the fit of these I can't see how that would be possible.
Ordering was simple. Just put in what breed you have and the other details they ask and it tells you exactly what sizes of the bits you will need, and once I received the harness, it was indeed a perfect fit.
Fast dispatch and delivery. When I received mine it also had a training lead in with it too which wasn't my order. CS were great,I returned the lead and they refunded my postage and packing.
I've had one harness for roughly one year now, and still like new, and just bought another for my other dog.
I have 2 Jack Russells who are both pullers but they certainly pull a lot less with the perfect fit.

Ordered a perfect fit harness for my working Cocker Spaniel. When it arrived it didn't quite fit right as was loose around the neck, so I called up their support, who promptly answered, and they arranged for a couple of different size parts to be posted out to me.

When they arrived I was able to try different configurations to get the perfect fit then sent back the bits I didn't need.

As the name suggests, it fits a lot better than any other harness I've tried, isn't restrictive at all either.

Just a minor shame I had to pay postage to return the bits that didn't fit, just because we live in a world so used to free returns but that didn't really effect my positive experience.

After ordering my puppy a new harness I got the sizing wrong I phone up spoke to a lady called Gemma who was very helpful I sent her an email with pictures of my puppy in the harness . She rang me back after I emailed and sent me out the right size the same day I phoned. excellent customer service from start to end . I'd recommend the company to any of my dog friends . Thank you so much it makes walking my puppy enjoyable now and much safer than a collar .

The harness is good quality and also looks nice. My dog initially thought it was a new toy so we had her trying to get it out of our hands, but once on she seems to love it. Seems very comfortable as there are no straps that are in direct contact with her fur, just a nice padded fleece material. The fit was slightly too large, but their team sent me a smaller top piece replacement very quickly, which fits just right. I have a mixed breed rescue (11kg) so can be difficult to find a good fitting harness. Their customer service is brilliant, easy to get in touch with, quick responses, and clear advice - I think their customer service is one of the best points of this company. I spoke to Jen, Lucy and Rhi who were all super helpful. Our dog walks can be a bit hectic sometimes but this harness gives us confidence that our dog is secure and comfortable. Its too early to tell if it helps with her loose lead walking, but I'm certain it helps a lot to avoid any pressure on her throat. Highly recommend so far!

I’m still within the process of finding the correct size for my pup but I really wanted to post a review because I’m really impressed with the business and people who work behind the scenes!

A lot of harnesses I’ve been trying from pet shops and on Amazon haven’t fit properly for my pup as she’s quite small and we’re constantly hitting a brick wall! I’m apart of a dog group on social media and I asked within that group what they’d recommend and the majority of the recommendations were ‘PerfectFit’. I’d never heard of them before so I was going in blind by those recommendations but liked what I saw and made a purchase.

It arrived and with all the measurements I’d done on my pup, unfortunately, it was rather tight so instead of sending it back for a refund, I really wanted to resolve the issue.

I contacted PerfecfFit on their website and received an email straight away. I was asked to send a few images of my pup so they could work out sizes from the pictures I’d sent across and they have kindly agreed to send alternative pieces free of charge until we have the perfect fit (pardon the pun) for my pup!

I’m so very thankful for the help and felt it was only right that a review was worth posting!

Brilliant customer service and a wonderful product. I would highly recommend this company and their dog harnesses. My dog is a mixed breed rescue dog and most harnesses don’t fit him correctly. However, after very helpful conversations with staff, I managed to find the perfect fit!!

Even though there were some obstacles on the way the team made sure to resolve any issues in the best way possible for me and my dog. The quality of the harness is outstanding and the fit is perfect, you can literally see that your dog feels good in it!

Their harnesses are perfect and their customer service is second to none. So helpful in sending me harness bits to try on my growing pup! 10/10 highly recommend

Quickest and easiest review I’ve ever had to write. I have a very large, very bouncy two year old Labrador and after trying the harness for the first time, it was like walking a new dog! Absolutely cannot recommend this harness enough if you have a puller!

I can't praise this company enough. I was having problems with getting the right harnessfor my puppy. My puppy is so much happier and walks really well along side me. Definitely would recommend Perfect Fit Harness

Overall I do recommend the Perfect fit harness, it's well made it comes in 3 separate sections, ideal to change as you're puppy grows, it is well padded for a comfortable fit for your puppy/Dog, However as the padding is made of felt in soaks up water like a sponge and it takes ages over 24hrs to dry out, this is a bit of an inconvenience if you have a dog that loves puddles, wet areas or even if the weather is very wet,It would be better if the padded material was waterproof with air holes for breathability, as found on other harness, ot would also be very useful if the top section had a handle to help secure your dog should you need to, There is a very limited selection of the top section in high visibility stitching, I really wanted the purple colour but only 3 have this reflective stitching, finally it would be lovely if there was a 30mm size top section as it a big gap between the 20mm + 40mm section, as I said at the beginning of this review Overall I do think that the harness is a well made product and it made in Britain and an independent owned company who's customer service is fantastic, Hopefully my feedback will be useful to the company

I have three large dogs and each dog has a perfect fit harness set! They’re fabulous, sturdy, long-lasting and you can colour coordinate them! The delivery came next day each time also! I have spoken to Rhi from the customer service team many times over Instagram and they were absolutely lovely! You can just tell that they genuinely care about your dogs wellbeing :)

I've struggled to get a harness to fit my pup as she’s always between sizes. The different sections of the Perfect Fit harness means I’ve managed to finally find something that works! The products are really high quality and feel like they will last a long time.

I honestly don’t think I’ve ever received such great customer service. Someone was always available to speak to on live chat and arranged some new sizes to be sent (free of charge) when the original harness was loose. There was a mix up with a returned item and this was also sorted super quickly and with no fuss. I’ll definitely be recommending, this is the only place I’d buy from now - thanks guys!

I ordered my Beagle a perfect fit harness when he was around 9 months old on the recommendation of a fellow dog walker with a Dogue de Bordeaux who raved about how good they are. I wouldn't trust another company that sells harnesses as we've had some shocking ones through our pups life as he's outgrown or ruined other poorly made ones. These feel safe and secure, and when you have a Beagle that likes to run after cars (we're working on it!) the peace of mind it gives is second to none. I was spending £20 a time to find a harness that suited my dog but these are worth the little extra for the amazing quality.

I too had a fit issue with my one year old lab, where the girth part kept slipping.
An advisor at Perfect fit said they had had similar problems with Labs before and sent out 2 new girth pieces, M & L free of charge.
I rate this company highly and have no difficulty in recommending them

I can’t rate this company highly enough.
All 3 of my dogs needed new harnesses as we’d been walking loads more than usual and they’d lost a little weight.
I decided to go with perfect fit because I liked the idea of different attachments so that if they lost more weight then it was easier to just buy different attachments rather than whole new harnesses and I wanted something that could adjust with or without coats also. I also like the idea that I can switch up the top part to get different colours.
Having 3 King Charles they are all very different in sizes so it wasn’t a case of one size fit them all.
I managed to get Beaus perfect fit first time
Ruby and Poppy were a little more complicated just due to their body shapes but the company couldn’t be anymore helpful. They immediately sent me out new attachments to play about with combinations to get that perfect fit. I did need further help and Jen was in email helping me with pictures so that I got her perspective on how they should look which actually was different to how I thought that it should look. I was thinking it looked hunched up but I’d attached different parts that shouldn’t have been the combination. They have sent me out 2 additional deliveries to get the correct fit for them and these were all free including shipping.
I love that nothing is too much trouble for them, I love that you don’t have to faff about with returns, replacements and or buying new parts.
Obviously I have additional parts here that isn’t needed but they will be sent back but I was told to take my time with them and make sure I’m absolutely happy with the combinations that I have.
Beau is a puller as he was attacked by another dog so can be a little erratic at times on walks but I’ve noticed he isn’t pulling as much. I used to use jacket type harnesses before so I think having the chest part here has helped with the pulling and it makes it a little easier on my hand so it’s not always straining with him.
