DreemHealth made the entire at‑home sleep study process remarkably smooth and stress‑free. From the very first virtual consultation, the provider took time to understand my symptoms and explain what to expect. The at‑home sleep study kit arrived quickly, was comfortable to wear, and was incredibly easy to use — far simpler than I anticipated.
Once the study was complete, they reviewed my results in detail during a follow‑up visit. They walked me through the data, explained my diagnosis of sleep apnea clearly, and answered every question without rushing. We discussed different therapy options, and together we decided that CPAP therapy was the best fit for me.
What impressed me most was how thorough and supportive the team was throughout the process. I even had a separate virtual appointment focused entirely on mask fitting and exploring different mask styles to make sure I’d be comfortable. They handled all the insurance coordination behind the scenes, kept me updated at every step, and are now shipping my CPAP device and supplies directly to me. A follow‑up appointment is already scheduled to help me get everything set up correctly.
Every part of this experience has been organized, patient‑centered, and easy. DreemHealth combines convenience with genuinely attentive care, and I’m grateful for how seamless they’ve made this journey. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a sleep study or treatment for sleep apnea.

I sought an at-home sleep study to determine whether I continued to have obstructive sleep apnea. After researching providers online, I identified DreemHealth as offering at-home sleep studies. Prior to scheduling the service, I was explicitly informed—both verbally and in writing—that DreemHealth was in-network with my health insurance and that the study was 100% covered, with no out-of-pocket cost. A written estimate reflecting this representation was provided and is attached.
Relying on these representations, I proceeded with the sleep study. After the service was completed, I received a bill for the full amount. At that time, I was informed that DreemHealth was out of network and that neither of my insurance plans would provide coverage.
My insurance coverage includes Blue Cross and Blue Shield through my spouse and Medical Mutual through my employer, the State of Ohio (Ohio Department of Public Safety). Both plans provide comprehensive coverage and are widely accepted. Despite this, I was advised that no portion of the service was covered, which directly contradicts the representations made to me prior to receiving care.
I would not have proceeded with the service had I been accurately informed that it was out of network or not covered by my insurance.
Their actions constitute deceptive practices under Ohio law. I would not have used their services had I been accurately informed that the study was not covered by my insurance. I maintain comprehensive insurance coverage and had readily available alternatives; however, I relied on their written representation that the services were 100% covered and would result in no out-of-pocket expense.
Such conduct appears to violate the Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act (Ohio Revised Code §1345.02), which prohibits suppliers from committing unfair or deceptive acts or practices in connection with consumer transactions, including misrepresentations regarding the cost, coverage, or benefits of services. By providing written assurances that the services were fully covered when they were not, the provider induced reliance through misleading representations, resulting in financial harm.
Additionally, misrepresenting the nature or cost of services may constitute a deceptive trade practice under Ohio Revised Code Chapter 4165, which prohibits false or misleading representations likely to cause confusion or misunderstanding in the provision of services.
I am requesting, through the Ohio Attorney General, that the charges associated with this service be withdrawn or adjusted to reflect the representations made to me prior to receiving care. I am also requesting that this matter be reviewed as a potential violation of the Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act, Ohio Revised Code §1345.02, which prohibits suppliers from engaging in unfair or deceptive acts or practices in connection with consumer transactions, including misrepresentations regarding the cost, coverage, or benefits of services.
Specifically, I relied on written and verbal representations that the services were in-network and 100% covered by my insurance, with no out-of-pocket cost. These representations induced me to proceed with the service and were later contradicted by the provider’s assertion that the services were out of network and not covered by either of my insurance plans. As a result, I incurred financial harm that I would not have otherwise sustained.
This conduct may also constitute a deceptive trade practice under Ohio Revised Code Chapter 4165, which prohibits false or misleading representations likely to cause confusion or misunderstanding in the provision of services.

I was supposed to have a C-Pap use follow-up call this morning that had been scheduled two months in advance. At the start of the call, the nurse practitioner asked me to turn on my camera and I refused. She said that the company requires the camera to be turned on. I have no information about how private this video is, if they are storing it, who has access to it, etc. At any rate when I refused a second time to turn the camera on, the nurse practitioner chose to end the call. In other words, this company is more interested in a policy with no medical validity than they are in providing adequate follow up care.
Another complaint is that it takes up to a week for them to respond to messages left in the app. They have been unable to resolve an ongoing issue with my therapy.
I do not feel confident with this company as a healthcare provider.
