Good for basic routine care - terrible for anything complicated

Have been with the Kettering branch for 10months. For routine things like vaccinations or minor injuries (my cat had a shoulder injury) they are fine.
However: should your pet develop a complicated condition of any kind do not expect them to manage this effectively.
My cat (kitten really not even a year old) became extremely unwell and they said she had zero chance of survival. It was the emergency vet who actually did something and referred her to a specialist centre.
They made me feel hopeless.
But my fur baby is still here and is now home and, if we’re very lucky, on the path to recovery following a week in an itu and a week on the ward.
If I hadn’t gotten a second opinion she would be dead and in the ground already.
If you have a pet who you wouldn’t be able to finance, or wouldn’t find it appropriate to go to the lengths we did in order to cure them or save them then this vets is just fine I.e your animal is old or you don’t have insurance. If it wasn’t for this incident I’d have given the 4/5 - the staff are lovely and helpful and getting an appointment is straight forward.
But never again. For me they aren’t just animals, they’re my family.

Don’t do what others do and put your blind faith in this company. They will not take responsibility for their mistakes are unprofessional and rude. They do not take on board complaints and will not engage when you have concerns. Please read reviews on social media before taking your beloved animal to these vets . There is no governing body to hold them accountable for and as a client who is dissatisfied with their service you are pretty much alone .

The veterinary practise has utterly gone down hill, I would NO longer recommend

They took 11 days to get a prescription ready, then didn't call me to inform me it was ready because it wasn't ready in its entirety until I went in for an appt and chased it, they got the prescription wrong and had increased the dogs medicine without informing me, when complaining about this ,they still have not gone in and corrected the prescription?? They have become worst than a no frill vets, they use staff you can barely understand there is no real caring follow up staff there and if your dog is not on a private scheme they do not discuss with you other options that you should be taking as a pay for option. This veterinary practise has really gone down hill! There is no one to complain to and when complaining last yr august to the practise, all i can say is, I am still waiting for an acknowledgement of the complaint from the practise mgr.

Avoid Streatham Easipetcare. Unprofessional Vets

Avoid Streatham Easipetcare. Unprofessional. Waited an hour and half with no explanation until I went to the reception and complained. Builders drilling at the reception area building shelves. Dropping large metal shelves in the reception/seated area about a meter in distance. Drilling, noisy, atmosphere with HAZARDS present around public.

The vet finally came out and said sorry that she is running late but has an emergency to put down a cat. Asked if I can wait 10-15 minutes more? I waited patiently but not happy. Finally I was called in with my fiddly puppy for his second vaccine. She pocked the needle into my puppy 2 times and was unsuccessful and my puppy was hurt with needle adjustments and pokes. The little pooch was highly stressed and no loving care of attention from the vet.
She told me to hold him down tighter. My puppy was crying, struggling and he was in pain and frightened. I really felt for him. Tried to calm him down. She stuck the needle in my little puppy again (third time). This time my puppy really jumped up screaming/crying and so did I. Ouch.. She injected my thumb which pierced through my puppy threading his skin and out the other side, straight into my thumb. Both of us were injected? Literally it went through my dogs skin and laded on the thumb. I screamed ouch? Lots of blood everywhere. The fluid went all over the puppy and my hand. I was told the animal moved and I wasn't holding him down hard? I said I will not torture him or squeeze him. Then she said she will take him to the back and get him redone again with somebody helping her? She had an attitude problem. I said "NO WAY. Get somebody to come in here to help you. I will not have my puppy taken out of my site". I got really angry. The vet left the room to get somebody else to help her. A nice lady helper came with first aid for my thumb which was bleeding like crazy. I just asked for a glove and put it on quickly. I just wanted to get out of there asap soon as he was properly vaccinated. Finally the nice lady held my puppy and the vet forth time vaccinated my puppy. Bare in mind some of the vaccine fluid went in my puppy before and spilled on his fur, couch and in my thumb. So we don't know how much he had been injected? When I asked the vet how can she be sure of the dosage the puppy had in him?? She said I will do half dose for him and should be right. Amount of dose should be fine? Is this guessing accurate? I asked if he will be ok and she said well some do die from injection??? I said what??? OMG? Then she said if I were you I would insure him? I told her he is insured but that's not the point is it? I don't want anything to happen to my puppy. She carried on saying some puppies do die but its rare. I felt like me my pet was treated badly, traumatised and stressed. I felt like my pet was tortured let alone I was injected too? What a mess. The first visit was brilliant with a lovely vet. The second visit which was 2 weeks later, today, was absolute disaster. Terrible. Please avoid this place. Negligence of care. Health and safety guidelines not followed. Go elsewhere. Another company. Plenty around.

Update: Four days has passed since the bad experience at the vets. My puppy is extremely scared and shaky each time I put my coat on. Hides under the table. He doesn't want to go into the garden. His psychology is disturbed. I emailed the manager and complained the same day and still waiting to hear. I will update back once I get a reply.

Update: The manager replied 10 days later after our visit. She stated that the puppy was not hurt and usually they are scared and cry because they are scared. She also stated they are not still and can be a bit tricky to vaccinate them. She said sorry that I got pocked with the needle but stated that its safe for humans and she spoke to the vet and no solution was in my system?? She offered to pay my £45 back if I called the reception and ask them to transfer the money. I was not happy the way they treated me and my puppy. Its not on. I did ring and get my money back. I could of taken this situation further but due to my exams I just don't have the time and finances to deal with all this. Please be careful everyone where you go to. I chose another Surgery in Streatham Hill. Streatham Hill Veterinary Surgery. They are amazing and operate 24hrs for emergencies. They also have mini van ambulances parked outside. Very professional place. Excellent.

Wrong yearly vaccination

The vet in charge gave the annual booster ( Lepto 2-DHP) to my ill dog and he died cause of her negligence.
Have consulted other 3 vets and they said it shouldn’t been given to a sick dog.
All the team has been fired or changed now.
I don’t know what happened with them and the new staff working there wouldn’t mention anything.

Easipetcare on London road

Easipetcare on London road, Derby

Unprofessional, given different prices and advice. One telling me the reason the price was quoted wrong was because the women is new and then lowered the price to £184 from £334 to them have a senior vet come who was rude and aggressive saying the price is £334 you either take it or you don’t. I asked if your a vet and welfare of animals is your profession yet your advice is you either take it or you don’t and was argumentative when I challenged the unprofessionalism and aggression after me being told different things by three different people. Them the vet who offered the lower price who explained that the girl who was new who got it wrong in first place then back tracked himself saying that he hadn’t included the general anaesthetic which was clearly as he felt he had to support the other vet asking for more money. This was a poor service and attitude when I am just trying to make sure my puppy is okay. I will be transferring vets and putting in a formal complaint

2/04/2021 went to different vets two weeks ago roughly who gave a steroid cream and the thing I was told was going to be £334 for surgery has no nearly gone. I have took my puppy for his second vaccination at easipetcare on London road as was in a plan that I had paid for his first already. I will transfer vets now.

Negligence of care and duty

An awful experience with 1 particular Veterinarian in the Dartford branch.
My cat was discharged on Christmas Eve still in a critical condition if not worse than when he was taken in for care 2 days prior to discharge as we later found out he has severe kidney failure (the veterinarian even claimed upon discharge she did not know how long my cat would continue to live for - even 1 day)
After watching and hearing him suffer through the night, I had to take my cat to another vets the next morning on Christmas day and pay an extortionate amount to have him put to sleep (this was recommended as best and kindest for my cat as he was clearly in a lot of pain)
Easipetcare discharged my cat only because they closed for Christmas, the Veterinarian did not recommend that my cat should seek further care elsewhere nor he should put to sleep rather than discharging him, this was incredibly unprofessional and a negligence of care and duty. I believe the only intention was to take my money (which cost over £600 for 2 nights of care, fluids and tests)
I reported this issue which was forwarded to the Practice Principal which was not looked into in very well - All he replied was an in-depth report on my cats medical history rather than looking into why the Veterinarian discharged my cat in a critical state - My email was totally overlooked as a customer and instead sided with his staff who made a very huge error.
I was traumatised by having to see my cat suffer for a night and will not be using Easipetcare in Dartford again for this reason.

I took a urine sample for my dog into Easipetcare in Woodley and am still waiting for the results 11 days later. I visited the pracice and phoned 4 times and each time I am told a vet will call. Still waiting. Need the results for RVC. May have to go to another practice to get results. Do not recommend this vet.

Vets are good and kind to the animals

Vets are helpful and kind to my animals, I have 2 cats and 2 dogs they have seen, the vets will explain things if you ask questions, and give advise on behaviour problems. I'd lo e to give a higher review however a persistent issue is with reception who are rude, busy and disinterested and they keep you waiting for ages, with no communication when your bills and meds are ready, I've had to ask every time, after waiting at least 20 min after each appointment for someone to address me first, the reason I left Easipetcare Chatham is, Easipetcare were paid twice for the same treatment, and refused to refund my card payment, even after insurance company contacted them to request they refund a payment to me, insisting it be refunded to insurance and then refunded to me, Even though it was a bacs transfer and the insurance company are unable to recall any money. But the worst thing was the rude and poor manner in which they handle polite customer enquiries.

Absolute rubbish

Absolute rubbish. Drove miles for an appt. First thing Vet told me without even examining my exceptionally fit and healthy dog (for the first time) was 'there is a high risk of your dog not making it through the anaesthetic due to her age'. Absolutely no information available about how much more risky it might be in order for me to make a more informed decision. Further compounded by the fact that the quote I was given over the phone was SIXTY pounds less than what they wanted when I got there. No apologies, nothing. Very unprofessional. Extremely cross.

Was affordable, not anymore!

Went here after they cared so well for my other chihuahua several months ago, but most shocked to find they had doubled the consultation charge! And charge me for meds that are available online for a fraction of the price. Double for 1 item but £12 more for something they charge £15 for and for 1 drop of eye dye they charge £7.95! When I can buy a box online with no prescription for £12 for 20! Vets need to be regulated as I thought I had found a great one and travelled a good 30 mins for them? How utterly disappointed I feel now. And they want to charge me again for checking a week later! Will not be using these again as I feel they are another vets just after your money.

Inexperienced - avoid

Ok for vaccinations but anything more complicated avoid. Hold them completely responsible for the death of my dog. Never told me he had a heart condition until it was too late. Took him there as had trouble breathing and was told it was the hot weather. He was dead within the hour! Due to their incompetence couldn’t claim on the insurance so was also a thousand pounds down. Inexperienced vets who just want your money.

Avoid

Very unhelpful, uncaring and rude. They thought it was OK to diagnose a very sick cat over the phone. FYI for the Vet It was not a abscess, it was a very aggressive cancer tumour. They wanted to keep a cat in pain for 6 additional days. They do not care. The receptionists first didn't understand and secondly were so rude. . AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Excellent, caring, and affordable vet!

I have recently visited easipetcare Dartford on a number of occasions with my dog for his booster vaccines, pet passport and Neuturing. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and are great at putting my dog at ease - he actually loves visiting and cant wait to see the vets! It's great to find a vet that genuinely care about your pets. Their prices are affordable too. I want to say thank you to all the staff for making my dog feel so welcome and cared for, and for working so hard during the pandemic!
