Elegant Fires and Design Reviews

Brilliant service and a beautiful fire and surround fitted to perfection. Nothing was too much trouble, perfection was what they aimed for and that is what I got. I have used Elegant Fires and Design twice now and would not hesitate to recommend them on. Well done on a fab job.

Great service from start to finish

Phil came to fit our wood/ coal burner and hearth. He’s done a really lovely neat job and we’ve had many admiring comments by friends . On time every morning , stayed on the job till finished and everything back in its place and clean afterwards.
I have no reservations and would highly recommend Phil .

Good advice received from Phil and the price paid was much lower than I expected. The fitting was done well and apart from the empty biscuit tin they left no trace of the extensive building work done.

I really valued the highly personalised service. Phil and his team carefully considered what I wanted, listened closely and came up with solutions which were exactly right for me. They installed the stove, overcoming obstacles and the stove looks fantastic. The price provided exceptionally good value for money and I was not charged for the extra work that was involved in overcoming the obstacles. Phil and his team arrived punctually, completed the work to time and cleared up meticulously.

Fantastic service from Phil and the team who fitted a Gazco Gas fired Wood Burner, a Riven Slate Hearth. At the same time they also checked our chimney liner was safe and compliant and made some necessary adjustments to ensure its compliance. We could not recommend them highly enough - our fire is beautiful and everyone that visits comments on how great it looks and are surprised at how efficient it is in heating our rooms.

Would be happy for any of Phil's potential clients to visit us with Phil to have a look for themselves.

Very helpful, responsive service, thank you very much!

This is the second time that we have used Phil to install a fireplace, the first time was over 20 years ago.
They did an excellent job and the new fireplace and log burner looks brilliant although due to the very hot weather we haven't had chance to light it yet.
The price quoted was very competitive and Phil even took time out to show us various fires and surrounds at his supplier's premises.
Well done to Phil and his team.

Very professional, arrived on time, explained everything I needed to know and was fair on the price. I will 100% be using Phil again.

We now have a beautiful fireplace, fitted by the best guys in the business, who were always communicative, efficient, intuitive and imaginative in terms of our requirements in the space we had, at excellent value for money, and with no hassle to us whatsoever throughout the whole process. They came highly recommended, and we now highly recommend them. Superb!

I originally had my log burner installed by Phil of Elegant Fires and Design three years ago. Works consisting of knocking out and removal of the old fireplace. Lining the chimney. A large harth for the 8kw stove to be mounted onto and a 4ft beam. The workmanship was exceptional! All completed within three days, Phil was tidy and conscientious throughout. Since installation I’ve regularly had him round to service and test the stove. Arrives when he says he will and great value for money. Highly recommended!

Great service, poor banter, efficient, clean and tidy. Fabulous communication and perfect end result.
Fully cleaned down our filthy brick fireplace, installed log burner and granite hearth, swept all our chimneys and capped a few off.
Wouldn’t know they’d been here except for our fantastic new log burner they’ve left in place!
Thanks!!!

Great service. Thanks.

Couldn't have wished for better workmanship and professionalism . Extremely well organised didn't create any mess and above all that cheap too
