I contacted Kristen Wood to arrange an appointment in March to talk about my late husbands estate. Kristen had previously handled my father in laws estate in 2021 and we were very pleased with the service received.

My husbands estate was quite straightforward and Kristen provided me with an effective way to pursue probate. I received the same great service as before and all was completed at the beginning of May.

I would not hesitate to use Eric Robinson again in the future. From start to finish Kristen was professional whilst being sympathetic to my current situation. There would be no hesitation in recommending the Chandlers Ford office simply because the staff and service are first class.

Emma helped with the process of selling my flat, it wasn't the most smoothest of sales (external issues) but she worked hard to get all completed. Emma was great at communicating throughout the process, and supporting and helping me with sale. Thankyou Emma.

We favoured them when choosing a conveyancing solicitor for the sale of our property and purchase of a new home.
Miya Smith at the Winchester office guided us through the process efficiently and with great care, bringing a laser like focus and dealing promptly with a range of issues.
We decided not to proceed with one property following the survey and switched to another. The change of direction was accommodated smoothly and between the two properties a wide range of issues were highlighted to us, together with clear options and recommendations.
One property had land attached and the services of a commercial land specialist were available when required.
We felt well informed about the issues revealed and able to proceed with our eyes open.

Flawless service from Eric Robinson Solicitors on the purchase of our first property. Chantelle was incredibly professional and prompt with all lines of communications and requests - making the whole process very easy. Being first time buyers we had never had experience with solicitors and we are incredibly happy with the service we received.

We chose Eric Robinson expecting a premium service to match the price. That was a MISTAKE!

Sylvia Garcia handled our case with shocking incompetence, repeatedly asking for documents we’d already sent, being absent at key stages like exchange and completion, and failing to communicate who was covering our file. Her lack of diligence also led to an unexpected total of 2.5K in extra charges she claimed she “wasn’t aware of” and never disclosed upfront. We had no choice but to pay.

There was no apology, no accountability, and no recognition of the stress caused, on what should have been a straightforward, chain-free transaction. I dealt with this while heavily pregnant, and the experience was overwhelming.

If you’re buying or selling, AVOID this firm. Paying more does not mean better service, go elsewhere and save yourself the cost, stress, and frustration.

Used for conveyancing to sell a property - Emma and Megan were absolutely fantastic! My buyer's solicitor was a nightmare and I was very impatient to get the sale completed, but they did a brilliant job of moving things along. Really easy to deal with, excellent value for money and fab service. I highly recommend!

Hazzra Huxford was professional, methodical and responsive. She moved things along as swiftly as she was able to, and provided updates in a timely way throughout. I really felt I was in good hands.

Towards the end of the process, Hazzra left for maternity leave and my file was handed over to Sylvia just before exchange - again, the service provided by Sylvia was excellent - putting my mind at ease, responding to queries and getting what was a long and messy exchange over the line.

Eric Robinson acquired Merriman Solicitors in Marlborough, a professional, efficient friendly practice and have turned it into a faceless, non-communication slow organisation. Having recently instructed the practice I found them so difficult to deal with as there were long delays in responding to emails and in some cases no response at all, phone calls were only returned after chasing. In the end decided to cut my losses, pay their bill and walk away. Have since found another local practice who are interested and treat you as an individual.
