Fakenham Fires are an excellent company, we’ve had 2 stoves installed by them; 1 wasn’t straightforward after the builders put Noggins in the wrong place. Thank you for being so patient Abbey and completing a fantastic install. Chris did a great job installing the hearth and stove in one of our bedrooms. A great company with attention to detail, excellent customer service and quality products.

Fakenham Fires took out our old coal fire and surround, replastered wall, fitted chimney liner, back filled liner, fitted stove and layed reclaimed pamment tile hearth.
The two fitters were fantastic and worked hard throughout the 2 days of fitting. We were given a full commissioning brief before they left.
During fitting, disruption was kept to a minimum and the room and driveway outside was thoroughly cleaned.
We are very happy with the whole process and would recommend Fakenham Fires to anybody that are thinking of using their services.

Chris came to our house and was extremely knowledgeable. He provided us with 2 quotes, as we were debating the location of the stove. The detail in the quotations was excellent and we decided on a Contura stove. The fitters were brilliant, covered all the furniture to protect from dust and vacuumed afterwards. They were so friendly and professional and the install was superb. Extremely happy and thoroughly recommend.

My wife and I first enquired about a wood burner in the summer of 2022 at the opening of the Fakenham Fires showroom as we were looking to do away with the open fire we have had for the last 36 years. Abbey and Tom explained about the fires and we left with a couple of brochures. After looking through the brochures we decided on the Short Chilli Penguin stove and the surveyor came out to give us a quote which we accepted. We paid the deposit in September, however, due to having a bunker full of coal to get rid of first we delayed having the fire fitted until January which was not a problem to Fakenham Fires.
On January 9th Abbey and Mark came out to remove the old fireplace, make good the brickwork and install the liner. Everything was left completely clean and tidy that afternoon.
Abbey and Mark returned the next day to install the log burner, install the heat proof boards, do all the necessary connections, commission the burner and make good the plaster around the fireplace. Mark spent a good deal of time making sure the plaster was finished to a good standard. Both Abbey and Mark are a credit to the company.
After letting the plaster dry for a few days we sparked up the wood burner and I must say we now have a very warm living room.

Fakenham fires have just fitted our new stove, right from the first contact it was amazing. Chris designed our new stove install as we didn’t have a chimney. We ordered a stove that was hard to get hold of and stoves are in real demand right now, Christine kept us updated and when it came to the install date the stove installers were simply amazing. Polite, hard working and very tidy. We are extremely happy with our new stove. We highly recommend using Fakenham fires.

Fakenham Fires were brilliant from start to finish. From the moment we walked through the showroom door and met Tom and Christine, the help and advice was second to none. This was our first log burner. The installation was very professional with minimum mess and we were kept informed every step of the way. All the members of staff we came in contact with were polite and genuine. You can trust them to do a really good job.

Really great job from start to finish, worked very carefully taking out an old hearth and wall then installed steel supports accurately under a very old chimney. Took a lot of trouble finishing brickwork and installing the woodburner itself, which now heats two rooms very well, and people were here whenever needed to get the job done. I would strongly recommend anyone looking for a woodburner installation, with or without building work involved, to talk to Fakenham Fires.

From the first moment we stepped in the showroom we knew that this was the right company for us: their advice was sincere and honest and right for our needs. The subsequent survey and final recommendation was equally good. Paperwork has been consistently good and Chris and his team have been responsive and efficient throughout the process. The install team was especially good, arriving as scheduled and our new stove and flue installed in a day.

Great service throughout. Tom in the showroom showed great patience answering my questions clearly. On installation day Abbey and her colleague arrived when they said they would, covering my flooring as they walked through and protected all my furniture. They worked cleanly and carefully all day. Abbey was a real credit to the company - Tenacious in the face of dreadful weather conditions -strong winds pouring rain and darkness - attempting to complete the connection between flue and fire. Reluctantly conceding defeat at 6p.m. Abbey and her colleague cleared all their equipment and left my home clean and tidy. Next morning at 09.00 a.m. Abbey and her colleague were back, bright and cheerful, to complete the job for me. I cannot thank Tom and Abbey enough for guiding me through my purchase of my wood burner and the installation process. It was a pleasure to deal with all in the company and I would highly recommend them.

Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish . On visiting the showroom the staff were friendly , helpful and knowledgeable . The engineer who came out to quote for us filled us with so much confidence in the company and when the same man came to install it , we can honestly say he was fantastic , nothing was too much trouble , the standard of his work was brilliant , he showed such great pride in his work . . He also treated our home so respectfully , taking time to cover all our furniture and carpets up every day so they were not damaged , and tidying up thoroughly at the end of every day. We cannot praise him enough :) On top of that the carpet fitters and plasterers the company used on our project equally worked to a high standard , were friendly, helpful and tidy . We highly recommend Fakenham Fires and will happily use them again in the future .

Have just had a wood burner installed by Fakenham Fires. Really professional, helpful and pleasant from everyone in the team. Highly recommend them to anyone wanting an installation.

Marc and Abbey did a great job installing our new wood burning stove. They were friendly and helpful and cleared away all debris at the end of each day. We lit a fire for the first time yesterday and it burned really well. It’s great to have a cosy fire in preparation for the colder days of winter. We would happily recommend Fakenham Fires to anyone wanting a wood burning stove fitted.

This is the second fire installation that Elliot has undertaken for me and it is absolutely superb. Tom was immensely patient and helpful when helping me select the heather and fire. The job was very difficult and the expertise and support provided was invaluable - thank you so much it looks fabulous
