Great service

Great service will definitely be making more purchases through fight gear direct.

Really nice quality products and they were quick to rectify a stock issue and offer me an alternative right away.

Service was great

Service was great, gloves are fantastic. Appreciated the email from Brendan was a nice touch. Delivery took 2 weeks which was a little longer than I’d hope but still wrapped with the result!

Top company and service

Top company and service. Big shout out to Vin. I made an order and then had to cancel. Vin sorted it out in no time. I was so impressed that I made an order for another item. Trust these guys.

I am very disappointed with the…

I am very disappointed with the equipment I received and with the response I have had when trying to get a replacement. I ordered a boxing dummy “Bob” for my son at Christmas and at first all was ok. Within a few weeks, the base fell apart, causing the dummy to fall down the pole and get jammed. The inner pole was almost protruding through the face. I have been asking for weeks for the company to replace the goods and I have had nothing but excuses. I have been asked to box it up and send it back through the post. It is very large, very heavy and would cost a fortune to send back - not happy!!!

Terrible customer service. Avoid.

I purchased a pair of boxing gloves from this company, even though they were more expensive than overseas competitors, as I always support local Australian business- particularly during this pandemic.
They sent me the incorrect size gloves, I notified them that I received the incorrect size and the product was unopened and still in original packaging.
I simply asked for an exchange and offered to pay the postage.
They refused and after many lengthy emails, they offered me a $20 discount off the correct size gloves if I repurchased an additional pair.
Leaving me with a $170 pair of gloves that don't fit.
Avoid this company, it was an expensive mistake for me, leaving me with a useless item I can not use and $170 out of pocket.

Thanks for your feedback and we're sorry to hear that the experience with us didn't turn out to be a good one. We'll take this on board and see what we can do to make things clearer.

Just to clarify, though: as we discussed during our emails (which we responded to within a couple of hours, and clarified in detail there) - it wasn't that we *sent* you the wrong size, it was that you processed your order with the incorrect size. We sent you what was ordered, and also sent you a confirmation email after receiving your order, which you didn't contact us to say it had any issues. It's for this reason that, as per our policies, we didn't issue a refund/credit in this case.

You had read our policy prior to ordering -- you mentioned this during our emails -- so to us it's a bit strange that, knowing our policy (which clearly states that if you order the incorrect size, it's at our discretion whether or not we provide a credit/exchange), you expected us not to stick to it after the fact. In other words: You knew the policy before ordering; then were unhappy when we stuck it.

We appreciate you and will be sad to lose you has a customer, but as a small business, we do have policies in place to make it viable to survive, and, we clearly state on our site that we only refund / replace if an item is damaged or defective. A large part of having this policy is so that we can continue to provide our high-quality products at some of the lowest prices in Australia. If we were to have a different policy (such as big-box retailers with huge volumes), it wouldn't be possible to survive as a business. I appreciate if this isn't your preferred approach - but every business is different, this is what we have chosen, and is why we clearly outline this prior to ordering.

Regarding the discount - as mentioned in the email, we were not trying to 'upsell' you -- normally we don't give out discounts like that -- but simply to provide an alternative. We understand why you didn't opt for this, and we respect that -- but that was a token gesture to try and ease the situation.

We will take this on board and see what we can do to make things clearer -- your feedback is valued -- but you agreed to our (clearly stated) policy prior to ordering, and we do stick to our policies, otherwise there would be no purpose in having them.

Wishing you all the best in any case and are sorry this turned out to be frustrating. Perhaps you may be able to re-sell, re-use, gift or find some other purpose for the gloves.
