My wife and I were quite stressed about the first day of the move. However, Luke and Damien were very reassuring. We were hugely impressed with their speed and tenacity, whilst all the time taking care of our belongings. We look forward to day 2 knowing that they are at the helm. 100% recommend for a friendly and stress free move! Thanks!

Contacted this firm twice (email on line form), over several days, as I could not get them to pick up their phones, for a removal quote. They have not condescended to reply, even to say we're not interested! Appears they don't need the business, nor care for their presentation to potential customers. There are plenty more removal firms in the area who seem to have a better customer service ethic.

Great experience on 5 occasions over the last 4 years. The benefit of the wider group of Master Removers ensured no hiccups. The young team on the last move showed great maturity and customer care.

I chose Thomas Firbank Removals as they are an established company and I felt the service would be good, I was extremely disappointed. I had to chase the office twice to confirm the booking and take payment, and when the removal men arrived it was apparent that Thomas Firbank had subcontracted the job to another company - 'Gentleman & A Van'. As they were entering an occupied house I ask the removal men to wear masks and gloves - and they advised that they didn't usually do this.. Only one of the men had gloves and asked if I had any! Luckily nothing got broken but the men were slapdash at best. Based on my experience I would most definitely not recommend Thomas Firbank Removals.

Our 2 removal guys were fab, couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately, I cant say the same for the office team, Tom and Henrietta. I found them rude, unhelpful and dismissive. I used this company 7 years ago when we moved and they were great, so thought I would do so again. This is no.longer a local, independent company, but part of a countrywide business, so attention to detail and personal service appears to have gone. I was made to feel a nuisance. I emailed them with my concerns and I never even had a response. Thats how little we mattered.

We have had such an amazing experience with Thomas Firbank Removals - their communication and their flexibility with our changing requirements and dates has been impressive. The team that turned up to pack up our goods were a friendly bunch that were pleasant to have around the home and couldn't be more helpful and cheery during what is quite a stressful couple of days! I totally recommend the company throughout.

We were very happy indeed with the packing, storage and delivery service provided. The staff they sent to us were friendly, efficient and helpful.

The only slight problem was with communication, though since all removal companies are so busy at the moment this is understandable. This also meant that we had to wait longer for our eventual delivery than we would have liked. This was beyond their control.

A highly responsive removals company with first rate staff.

The entire moving operation was conducted smoothly and effectively, the removal personnel needing to involve any participation from us only minimally. Those personnel, too, were friendly and very easy to get on with. W were very impressed with their performance, particularly in the light of the extraordinarily
hot weather which prevailed over the course of the move.

Quite expensive but you get what you pay for. Nothing too much trouble for these guys and they were very helpful, hard working and careful with goods. Would definitely use them again!

The removal men and lady were excellent . They were respectful and handled our property carefully . Despite our move being on really hot days, they remained professional and kept a sense of humour reducing my anxiety about the whole process . I would highly recommend .

This is the second move we had to undertake in 18 months and both were superbly executed by the Firbank team...they charge 'by the hour' so preparation/moving smaller items yourself (when possible) helps the overall cost...highly recommended based on our experiences of using Thomas Firbank....reliable, careful and cost efficient....

Excellent removals service from Thomas Firbank. The removal was done quickly and easily with no damage to either property or possessions. I have already recommended to a friend I know moving.

The team arrived pretty much on time and were courteous and efficient. They were very helpful in placing items where we needed them and patient when I wasn't sure! There were no breakages and they took care not to mark or damage walls etc. Highly recommended.

Thomas Firbank have just carried out our house move. The whole process from quote preparation to completion was efficient and friendly. All questions were answered and this was very reassuring prior to the move. The move itself went smoothly and exactly on schedule, the staff worked really hard and responded to all our instructions. Well done!
