It feels like a complete scam!! My experience with this company has only gone from bad to worse. After providing an excessive amount of personal information—far more than should be necessary—Proved that I owned the product - plus a €50 upfront payment, they finally agreed to collect my device...but didn't show up today. they did call and have delayed it by another three days and insisted on a highly specific packaging requirement for the UPS pickup.
My son is without this critical device for over 5 weeks now, and it is an exam year.
It’s unbelievable. I fully intend to escalate this to the insurance ombudsman. My best advice? Stay away from this company if you can. Dealing with them has been an absolute nightmare.

Dreadful support - We have not had any success with them despite paying insurance for 2 years. Cracked screen for a month now and our son is doing his junior cert. they have also taken a 50 euro excess payment and gone to ground. I am sorry we ever took this policy out and will be cancelling

While prices seem to have increased noticeably since last year, I have a lot of confidence in Gadget Insurance giving me comprehensive insurance coverage on my phone. I have used this company for years and although I’ve never had to make a claim, I feel that they offer a good deal. Also it’s really easy to do online with my only issue being that it’s not as straightforward to cancel the old policy,maybe because my policies are not linked by their customer recognition algorithm.

Took 5 months to to even send my phone off to get it fixed they tryed anything to deny the claim. I had to send them the same information about 10 times because they just kept saying we didnt recieve the email but then 5 months later the email just happened to be there horrible customer service.

I rang to change my phone insurance to new phone & keep insurance on old phone as I passed it on to my husband, but I was told i couldn't do that I could only do new insurance on new phone, 🤔🤔🤔
