I'm very impressed with the construction, finish and weight of the gates. They are of good quality and I'm very happy with the service from first enquiry to installation.

I was looking for a company to fit gates at the side of my house and I found this small family business, GATES SCOTLAND, Blantyre, online and I’m more than happy that I chose this company to fit the gates.The customer service was excellent. We were kept updated from the start of the process to the finish. We were also supplied with a technical drawing after the engineer visited the property to measure up, which was very helpful. The fitting team did an excellent job too, very courteous and cleaned up when the job was finished. We chose the option of a maintenance free aluminium infill which is of a very high quality. We are more than happy with the gates and are happy to recommend this company. Always good to support a small family business!

Great customer service and loving the new gates. We have 2 sets of drive gates and one garden wrought iron one. They are all terrific and look stylish. Gates Scotland team were patient when selecting a design, professional and courteous when surveying and fitting the gates. they are perfect. Really like them and feel more secure too at night time.

Great quality sturdy gates, very happy with the product. Seemed expensive but a surveyor visited to ensure sizing was correct and then they were made and fitted. Communication was excellent. I needed to request blanking plates subsequently for the bottom of my gates as my dog is an escape artist!!! There’s no escape for him now… if I’d realised the size of the gap it could have all been done at once… uneven ground requires a bespoke approach… hopefully this comment will help others avoid my pitfall!!! May I just say we are extremely happy with the whole process. From the initial contact through to completion it has been first class, the personnel & quality of product could not be better. Thank you.

Gates were fitted promptly but the panels started flapping as the screws had sheared. Ive called the company, text them all to no avail. I get promised they’ll get the guys out to fix them but no one has called with any date. Very disappointed as I paid a lot for the gates and they’re now falling apart. Quick to take your money for the gates but forget any repairs, they’ll repeatedly fob you off. Thankfully another company came out to fix them. I would avoid at all costs. (Almost a year I’ve been waiting for them to do repairs so this hasn’t been a hasty negative)

Gates Scotland has just completed a job inclusive of side and driveway railings. I am delighted with the finished result and must compliment them on their attention to detail, excellent workmanship and respect of my property. From initial planning to production and installation, everything has gone to plan. I highly recommend this Company!
