High quality product. Love it. Don’t like the confusing way of activating the bike on the app. Can’t be done.

Impressed! Great Bike!

I am very impressed with my new Gazelle Medeo T9. High quality components, ease of use, and comfortable. Has plenty of power and battery life for my casually active riding style. Happy with my purchase!

Highly customizable fit, smooth ride

For a woman who is 5'11", finding a bike that fits in the U.S. has been a challenge. Gazelle's 57 inch bikes are a very good fit. I tried a few other brands and a few other Gazelle models. Once I had tried the Avignon, the only reason I took a few days to think about the purchase was the price tag. The ride is smooth as butter. It is easy to adjust the bike to personal fit preferences. The buttons are mostly intuitive. It took a video to figure out that the bike (60-ish lbs!) has a walk-assist function. None of the manuals mention this. This is my first e-bike and it is making it much more inviting to do errands by bike rather than by car. I am very happy with the bike thus far. In our area the bike can only by purchased at Conte's and I received excellent and non-pushy help from their staff.

Excellent Bikes - Poor Dealership

The bikes are excellent but our experience with the dealer was not good. We ordered a pair of Ultimate T10 bikes from this dealer. One bike was not assembled correctly - the handle bars were not tight so after riding a short distance, the handle bars were not perpendicular to the front wheel. Also on this bike, the wrong screw was used to attach the fender to the fork which made the fender rattle at each bump. The second bike's tail light did not work. I found there were no screws holding it in the rear rack and the wires were not seated into the terminal block in the light assembly. These items should have been noted and addressed before we picked up our bikes. Also, each bike was splattered with what appeared to be some sort of glue or adhesive. I had to use a solvent to wipe down both bikes to remove all of this glue. Again, the dealer should not have let these bikes leave the shop looking like this. We paid a lot of money for these bikes and I expected top notch service when we picked them up. The dealer did not even talk about adjusting these bikes for riding position, seat height, handlebar angle, etc. He basically asked for our credit card payment and showed us the door out of his shop.

The folks at Gregg's were smart and accommodating.

The user manuals for the Gazelle Medeo bike that I purchased are generic manuals for lots of bikes. There is no specific instruction for operating certain features of the model I purchased. Disappointing but probably a chance to learn by doing.

So so happy with the e- bike

So so happy with the e- bike. It’s taken a bit of time to get used to working g the gears and settings but am so happy with it and find I am getting in my bike to do errands as opposed to getting in the car. A big plus

Cycling Comfort

I greatly enjoy riding my Gazelle Tour Populair. With the emphasis of my cycling now geared more towards relaxed touring, my Gazelle more than fits the bill. Its upright posture is much more comforable than the road bikes I've ridden in the past. And its sturdy construction promises years of cycling enjoyment.

Poor paint with no quality control or care

This review is solely based on fit and finish as the two bikes in question only have 12 km on them. First bike, Arroyo C5 that has a less than desirable finish on the inner mono fork. It appears the factory did not smooth the material out before paint as visible seams are present. Having said that, all such models with a mono shock seem to have the same issue.
The rear plastic fender also is deformed (not due to
transport).
The second bike, Ultimate 380 smart system has a paint blister on the dual suspension fork that is approximately 5mm in diameter.
For a company that boasts about a world class paint facility, they have clearly dropped the ball in more ways than one.
What's interesting is I had previously purchased the Ultimate 380 (non smart system) but also had a paint issue with burnishing not only on 1 bike but 2. This was witnessed at the dealer right out of the box. I thought I could solve the issue by up selling myself to the tune of $1,900, but sadly no such luck.
One would think such deficiencies would be caught after paint or perhaps final inspection before being boxed and sent out.
I would suggest anyone interested in the Gazelle line, take a hard look at the bike before finalizing the transaction.
In my opinion, if you're looking for a tier 1 e bike, consider Riese and Muller. A bit more expensive, but true craftmanship and quality is visible throughout their entire line.

Ultimate C38 is truly an ultimate bike

I have been waiting more than a decade to finally get a Dutch bicycle, and I am extremely pleased with this bike! This is my first bicycle with a 57cm frame. I am 6’3” so it is more comfortable than any other bike I have had, it makes a tremendous difference! The build quality of this bicycle is obvious while riding, it is very stable at high speed. Although so far I have only gotten it to 26.6mph on flat pavement. I had an auxiliary battery added for extra range, riding 30 miles seems to have used almost no power at all as shown on the speedometer. I will probably be able to ride 200 miles without recharging. I have been as excited about this bike as a young kid getting their first bike! Thank you to Gazelle for an amazing ride!

Arroyo 380

The dealer that I bought the bike from was helpful and very knowledgeable. The company reps in the US very also helpful. There are many things I absolutely love about this bike; the way it rides and handles, the design overall, the looks of the bike and the safety theft features. The one an only thing I am disappointed with is that I wanted a bike that had a drop seat on it. This bike does not and it does not have the option to add one. After purchasing it and riding it, I am concerned. As a senior this would be a nice feature to have. I dont get down easily from the correct height I should be riding it at.
