They not faithful with compensation…

They not faithful with compensation money, they said they deduct 25% in reality they deduct 99% of your money and give you 1% , they will talk to you via phone call to kindly force you to accept what they want, they avoid writing, after forcing you, they will then write to say as we agreed by phone. I have not received yet even that 1 % they decided to give me , I am not recommend them , they love money more than eating, they will tell you what is important you get your house repaired, means compensation is for them, they want it, they claim it, they it you, and just pull your nose to smell what they eat. I wouldn't recommend to

Very very disappointed

I don’t know what to say really I’ve had what you were called a run in with the company every time you ring the landline up. There’s a long wait sometimes no one ever picks the phone up which is not good for a law firm. They then tell you that they’ve got compensation, but they don’t tell you how much it is lack of communication is just appalling. ……

Then they promise they’ll send you a cheque but you’re still waiting months later I miss promised a large amount then I find out It’s only minimal. As they supposedly take a large chunk out there surveyor was brilliant could knock it but again the law firms and councils treat you like second class citizens when you complain like patronise you a letter from the local council over the last few weeks stated that scrupulous law firms are coming to take money from councils to help tenants if the councils did their job properly looking after their social housing None of this would be going on there was still work to be done that it’s been unfinished for months. I don’t live in a home. I live in a hole. That’s how it feels. Law firms are scrupulous. I’m still waiting. For my check months after it was promised it’s like councils saying they’ll do the repairs never happened the excuses that come out afterwards lesssons learned yet again. Lawfirms and Councils are scrupulous people who don’t give a hoot about tenants

I can’t thank Michaela McGonigle from Gowing Law enough for the incredible support she provided while handling my claim. From the very beginning, she was professional, attentive, and clearly dedicated to achieving the best possible result for me.

She took the time to explain everything in simple terms, kept me informed at every stage, and was always available to answer any questions or concerns I had.

Thanks to her hard work and expertise, the claim was successful — something I couldn’t have achieved without her help. I’m incredibly grateful for everything she has done and would highly recommend them to anyone needing legal representation or support with a claim. They truly went above and beyond!

Brilliant solicitors

Got my claim done efficiently there…

Got my claim done efficiently there were a few issues but I phoned them and got sorted the council still haven't done some of the repairs but that's not this companies fault, awaiting our claim cheque now

Dishonest and Predatory.

They show up at your door pretending to be a charity, once they heard i had issues and carers they quickly rushed to get someone round next day to get me into a contract before i next saw my carers, the fact they knew i had carers and made no attempt to make sure they were present and rather felt like they made every attempt to avoid them being present is highly predatory due to my vulnerability. Spoke to my carers and neighbours who looked into them and told me to cancel as they seem crooked, cancelled the contract on 20th using the officail method in the contract. They ignored it and proceeded to send legal documents to my landlord anyway even though the contract was cancelled. Had to call them up with carers and they said they would cancel the contract, rather then doing that the next day they they sent me insurance documents so had to call up again, after a long call of excuses from them i demanded an email confirming that the process of cancelling was happening for proof they tried avoiding to do this but i still demanded as it seemed they were trying to run out the 14 day clock so could sting me for money. Magically the next morning i got an email containing a letter confirming the contract had been cancelled. Avoid this firm i feel they prey on the vulnerable and isolated and take advantage of them, they have destroyed my trust in all charities due to their actions.

The lack of communication is shocking

The lack of communication is shocking. Asking me if you can process with the claim is as far as it went . I never got any other information to say what was happening with the claim and this is the second time Youve taken the council to court and still no one has come to do the repairs I still have a bath with a hole in it that leaks onto downstairs electrical. Do we have to be electrocuted before anything gets done. Youve even sent me a message asking if the work was done I said no and then silence from you. There is no reassurance that this company has even put in the man hours that they are claiming for and when I say claiming believe me it’s purely self interest awful company. My advice to anyone else find someone else to claim for you now this claim started 2/4/24 but the review will only let me do 12 month it’s taken longer than that

Claim Feedback

I was happy with the service they provided and they took photos of the issues and evidence to help support our claim. We were never going to get a large amount and unfortunately the problem may return in the colder seasons but it was good to have someone on our side as never easy opposing your Landlord.
