No sign or order. No update on site. No response to any emails sent. Have to now raise a claim with credit card company to try and get my money back. Useless. Advise others not to use.

Could have been good if correct value was received

Really bad experience received a £15 pop rather than £24.99 min value raised this with company who admitted they were aware that the pop I received was been sold at another shop for the £15 when I raised that the terms clearly stated mystery box return min value was £24.99 shop value. I was then told this obviously ment their shop, I pointed out that’s not what the terms say it say of shop value no where does it say their shop. I was then told I was in the minority opinion and it didn’t matter. Despite the fact I had told the company I had only bought this box to do a online review as that’s what I enjoy doing I wasn’t buying it with an intention to win anything on offer as there was nothing for my collection so all I was looking for was value for money so seen as my value fell below what was stated in the terms it was only right for me to raise concerns. Prior to me opening my box I was already reading concerns from other purchasers stating they believed the box wasn’t actually done as mystery and certain people had been chosen which did set alarm bells ringing straight away. However the company did explain how they had processed the boxes which was to write on everyone’s label what they were putting in the boxes(strange but that’s how they do it) so I checked my label and it had nothing written on it which I was initially glad about as I didn’t want my mystery to be spoilt but at the same time I’m thinking they have just said they wrote on everyone’s hmmm not mine so was this a true statement I don’t know but it’s what they said. After challenging them about my box and saying I was going to look at getting a refund as this was a breach of their terms they reverted to childish name calling by calling me a sour grape as petty as it sounds I don’t deserve to be called names for pointing out concerns especially by a company that at the present time relies on words of mouth for sales. Finally they finished off with what I can only deem as a threat saying that if I tried to get a refund I would lose all my credibility within the funko community. This is highly unprofessional and I will be speaking to trading standards about getting a refund due to the terms not been correct in my opinion. Finally I must say it again I didn’t expect to get a pull I understand mystery boxes I have been buying them for years and will continue, all that was expected was what was stated within the terms.

The listing said shop value referencing our shop. We have linked the advert.

We accept that you were one of the small minority who failed to understand what was meant on the website. Luckily for you, the page showed the full list of every single prize that you could win.

You reviewed the list and decided it was worth it but now its not worth it because you didnt win? Your now giving us a 2 star review because you didnt win. I think its fair to suggest had you gotten a prize worth £100 or £450 as some did, you wouldnt be here giving us 2 stars, Its just sour grapes.

The buyer knew exactly what prizes were avaialble prior to the purchase. The buyer was not misled about what was available nor should it have come as any surprise. The item in question was also in the first 10. The listing also tells the buyer that there was 5 available of the said item, meaning he knew he had a 5% of getting this prize.

Buyers know they are taking a risk when they buy a mystery box. We are deeply disappointed that people buy a mystery box in the knowledge they may lose. Then proceed to give us a poor review because they did win.

The buyer subsequently edited his reply because he clearly wasnt happy with ours.

ou talk about how you bought this box to give a honest review however you are actively warping facts. You know I didnt say your in them minority so it didnt matter. Our position was that we dont agree with your views (which we dont have to) but we take it on board and will change it nevertheless. The conversation is still on facebook.

Your review:

"after pointing this out it was pointed out I was the minority so it didn’t matter awesome customer services 👍🏻 "

Our final comment in our discussion:

"The minorities view is ofcorse important but you are literally one person who is nitpicking at wording. We have accepted that wording was not clear enough for you and will be changed in future incase someone shares your interpretation. That suggests we are listening to you. There is a difference between listening to you and agreeing with you. We dont agree that it was not clear enough because basically everyone understood it, nevertheless we have stated we will make it clearer going foward as one person misunderstanding is one to many. Thank you for your feedback."

Furthermore how have you been called names? The single comment I can see is "sour grapes" which is term used to describe someone who is not happy because they didnt get there way. That is entirely reflective of our views of your attitude and aligns with the comments we were making. It is not meant to be considered name calling or insulting and we apologise if you have taken it that way.

Items written on the paper - Every single package had what was written on the label so we knew what to pack. Everyone has confirmed across all level of prices. As explained to everyone we gave every prize a number, we then put everyones name on excel and randomly generated numbers. We then printed the labels and wrote on them so we knew what to pack. The people who made these comments have subsequently been satisfied with our explanation and made clear they are not suggesting any wrong doing.

Its a real shame you have lowered yourself to making such comments because you didnt like our response. We are entitlted to respond to your comments and our response is just and reasonabe. You are perfectly entitled to review us fairly. Although unhappy with your 2 star rating, we had no intension of trying to have it removed because we agree that you are entitlted to your opinon whether we agree with it or not.

People are allowed to disagree with one another. However as you have been upset with our response you have now lowered yourself to spreading baseless claims which I am sure you will agree there is no evidence for. Thats not disagreeing or reviewing us, thats what is known legally as hearsay or defamation. You are actively spreading informaiton that you do not know to be true or have any evidence to support, in order to damage our reputation or sway future buyers.

Your perfectly entitled to give us a bad review. Your not entitled to spread falseshoods. If you are not going to provide evidence to support your claims you can remove them and we will to accept your bad review. If you dont want to remove them we will seek to have them removed.

Comment 3 -

There is factual evidence on facebook that shows that there that people got favourable treatment or the box was rigged. Where is this evidence? There is none your being asked to produce real evidence or retract your comments perfectly reasonable.

There is plenty of evidence on ebay sold listings that you can get 24.99 for the item in question and that will be evidence presented.

I am sorry you were not happy with out come I really am and as I said you are perfeclty entitled to your views. Spreading defamation and now saying your going to seek a refund is just too far.

The terms clearly stated it was non refundable under any circumstances. I clearly cant reason with you but make no mistake the funko groups are a community. You will be the first person that Ive ever heard of try to get a non refund for a mystery box because they are not happy with the outcome. The minute you try to get a refund you will lose every single bit of crediability you have. You know as well as I do.

You were not mislead you had the full list you knew you could get the item and now you are suggesting you are going to try to reverse the outcome because your not happy that we disagree with one another?

I honestly am sorry you are not happy. As I said you are perfectly entitled to leave a bad review the rest is too far.

Hermes proof

Excellent service & excellent packing. Even Hermes wouldn't have been able to damage this Pop

Mystery box.... Meh

Mystery box was said to meet a certain 'retail value' the pop I received definitely wasn't close to the said value. Said to be of £24.99, ended up with a £15-£17 pop maximum.

However actual packaging was amazing, have more than enough bubblewrap now.

So pros would be packaging and actual updates on delivery.

Cons, the value you in actual mystery box doesn't seem to be close to said about. In the future possible to a brand based mystery box. Or just improve the value on lower valued pops. Not asking for everything to be a 'grail' but to have atleast a little value would have been nice.

Thanks for the reviews. The listing said shop value referring to our shop. The term retail was not used or guarantee value was not used. Furthermore there was a full list of every single possible prize you could have won. It’s hardly like you were misled about what was available. In the knowledge of what was available you made the purchases, you knew you might win such prizes. We don’t see how it be fair to mark us down for the fact you were unlucky.

I was really impressed

I was really impressed with my mystery box! I may not have got one of the grails but my pops came well packaged and were both in pop protectors! The amount of bubble wrap was amazing! Haha I’ve found the customer service spot on, I will definitely buy again.

Very impressed for a first purchase. Great communication through out the process, very very well packaged and items in new condition. Value for money was good, it was a mystery box and we all know the risks. Love how you can see a full list of possibilities before you buy . Highly recommended

This is how funko pops should be delivered!

So glad I found this website - if you are an in box collector then this is the best place to buy your funko pops from. The funko pops arrived in excellent condition in free pop protectors (always a bonus) & with lots & I mean lots of bubble wrap around them. Which in my opinion they should have lots around them. Most companies just put a little if not any around them & think they won't get ruined in the post.(Which always bugs me because they can get damaged especially if they're sliding around a cardboard box)I Hope they stock lots more funko pops as this will be my number 1 go to place now. Thank you!
