I’m absolutely disgusted at this…

I’m absolutely disgusted at this company. Please don’t buy anything from them. Ordered a teddy bear in January and I’m still waiting for it. I’ve emailed and phoned no answer and the response from one email was we will look into it. I’m still awaiting a response from the 15th email I’ve sent. Terrible customer service and terrible communication.

Beautiful blue Buchanan ruana, ordered Sunday delivered Thursday .. 4 days!!

Ordered Sunday, delivered four days later.
I was a little hesitant because I'd read reviews about delayed deliveries and poor communication. This was not my experience. I ordered blue Buchanan ruana. It's beautiful and soft wool. Looks fabulous. It's family tartan so I can wear it with pride and the colours are gorgeous. It's perfect to complement my outfit for going to work, or out anywhere on a cold day. This was out of stock when I first saw it last year. So I waited until it was available this year. I took my chance last Sunday. I am thoroughly delighted and feeling a bit smug now because I've got it, if I'm honest ...

Disgusting Company

I ordered some of their Ukrainian tartan which I knew was a preorder. They have not responded to any of my emails asking for updates for almost 7 months. I commented on their Facebook page and they have blocked me, straight away they sent an email saying my item has been shipped but the tracking link doesn’t work. At this point I doubt I will get my tartan or my money back.

Avoid

Ordered the breast cancer support scarf and bear. Scarf arrived pretty quickly, however.. Where do I begin. The bear I have now been told after 12 months of back and forth emails is out of stock! I have been offered an alternative however I have requested a full refund. Awaiting the refund. I would avoid ordering from this company.

Act with caution but read to end we have a good part

I’m so disappointed ordered in March 2025 and still awaiting for Ukraine scarfs - originally ordered for birthdays mother and DIL, both dates gone. I have explained that I need to send for DIL who is in Ukraine and I need to send for Christmas.

Still vague fobbing off dates - I was going to order another for someone else but that would be more fool me.

I have asked for proof of donations made to DEA Ukraine and Breast Cancer having read comments on here.

Sadly on customer service I would say please be careful especially these special pre orders.

I have managed to get emails from customers service which makes me want to trust them.

Daisy and now Skye I have no reason to believe these are not genuine people - Daisy has always responded kindly, politely.

Update

After 9mths I sadly decided to call it a day on this purchase and asked for a refund - reasons 9mths waiting, date changing, reviews.

However I have to say I am pleased to say in less than 24hrs I’ve had my money for 3 scarfs returned.

Quick to take payment but do not deliver goods !

Ordered ruana items for breast cancer in June 2025 as a pre- order and told delivery August. No updates from company and no delivery . No response on Facebook website to non delivery, and when emailed their response was check website ! Which had no further info ! This week I emailed requesting refund or I would refer to fraud. Refund issued immediately but no apology. So disappointed especially as these items were for Breast Cancer. Do better Great Scot !

Extremely positive experience

I have ordered more or less a dozen items from Great Scot over the last two years, and I have had nothing but a wholly positive experience with ordering, receiving, and customer support. I've received very prompt answers to my queries. Any delivery issues I've encountered have had nothing to do with Great Scot, but the local services or customs hold-ups. The quality of the products has been excellent. No complaints, lots of praise and appreciation!

I have sent many Emails and rang many many times and cut off every single time..no one getting back to me.
Where is my order!!! Paid and ordered May 2025 a Breast Cancer Awareness [for me a Survivor]Pink Kilt. no reply given as yet. This is a concern as TrustPilot have many reviews for Scot and not good.
As a pensioner and having severe anxiety this has really sent my anxiety levels higher than normal. Paying £245 for a Kilt that on ordering was told it would arrive August but nothing.
I will NEVER purchase or deal with Great Scot again..but..I WANT MY KILT

I ordered 2 items in June to support breast cancer. I was told they had been dispatched several times and they never arrived. They have now cancelled the order and failing to refund. This has been going on for 18 weeks without resolution. They have repeatedly misled me

Feeling diddled!

Ordered a scarf in March, finally arrived in October. Very disappointed by the quality of the product which was nothing like the online photos. A smaller scarf I've not seen. Like many have said I wish I'd read some reviews. Guess I got drawn in by the slick well polished website.

Poor Communication and Customer Service

I am really disappointed. I did a pre-order for a scarf on 7th July 2025. Originally I was told it would be received by end August, then the date according to the website said for July orders, the first couple of weeks in September. We are now in October, I have emailed and had no response and still received absolutely no updates as to when I am likely to receive my product. I was buying this for a friend’s birthday which has now come and gone!

Terrible company wished I had looked at…

Terrible company wished I had looked at reviews before ordering made order back in January for a breast cancer edition tartan scarf and bear got fobbed off by so called customer services who ignore most off the emails could be 4 weeks waiting for a reply while the scarf turned up the bear was constantly delayed and I was reassured it would turn up finally I told customer services if it didn’t turn up in August to refund me which of course it did not I asked 8 times for a refund over the course off a week which they ignored it was delivered middle off September I have been accused off lying trying to steal the bear after asking why it was sent after I had asked 8 times for a refund they are a awful company who make you feel like you are helping the charity breast cancer very close to my heart but they are a bunch of liars do not waste you’re time or money if I could give 0 stars I would

Fabulous ruana - ridiculous lead time

I bough an extra warm ruana and fell into the trap of being offered a second one at half price, I paid and waited. And waited. And waited. After 3 months I emailed to cancel my order and was told one had come in and was on its way to me. It duly arrived and was FANTASTIC. I changed my mind because of the excellent quality and chose to wait for the second ruana. It arrived SEVEN MONTHS after I had ordered and paid for it.

The customer service team were good - especially Daisey - but it would have been so much better if I had been kept in the loop.

The quality of their products is first class. Their operations and service is poor. If you can put up with waiting, then you won’t be disappointed 🤗

Pre-Order doom loop!

I “Pre-ordered” several items in February. In May the items shipped but were ‘misplaced’ by the courier company. I can’t blame them for the order being lost by the courier, who admitted they’d done so after they investigated. I sent this information off to Great Scot. Once the courier confirmed to them that they’d lost the parcel, Great Scot committed to replacing the items, rather than refunding for the lost items. Although once again the items were on pre-order. Since then I’ve had regular commitments for shipments or promises of an update every time I’ve chased them up on a regular basis, but no actual shipment, nor update without being prompted. Once again I’m chasing these items up. It now looks like some of the items are sold out, or now back on pre-order. So who knows if they’ll ever actually arrive. It’s a shame, as I have been relatively happy with the few items I’ve actually eventually received (different order! ) But who needs this hassle when they don’t keep their commitments. Best avoid!

I placed an order and almost 2 months…

I placed an order and almost 2 months later I still haven't received it. I send in help requests and they said they'd look into it. Well that ways days ago too. I'm afraid I was scammed out of 170$☹️
