Excellent initial service and price

Not had to make a claim yet, fingers crossed, so can only comment on process of taking out policy and pricing. Much cheaper than previous insurer for much more cover. Ended up paying for more comprehensive new for old level cover, and still much cheaper than the 'market value' minus whatever they deem to be 'fair', from the other company. Did have a claim with them and the payout was woeful. Customer service was tip top, talked me through each aspect, not pushy, but knowedgeable and gave good answers to questions. Hope never to have to use it, but feel confident in them as a provider so far.

They set up two direct debts for one…

They set up two direct debts for one loan both different payment amounts, I've cancelled ,if they cant get that right then there's no hope for the future. Not risking getting charged £27.50 every time one doesn't get paid, As they still have left one running even though I've told them to cancel them both. Now getting hassled to set it back up.

We’re sorry we made a mistake Andrew. The Adviser who took your call when you wanted to check your online purchase had gone through could not locate that policy and set up an alternate one. This has been identified as a training issue to avoid this happening in the future.
Both policies have now been cancelled for you without charge and we’re really sorry for this error and that you’ve decided to go elsewhere.

happy to deal with this company

happy to deal with this company. staff went through all items of the policy and answered any questions you had. was pleased with the price given. cheaper than last year with better cover.

Answered all my detailed questions. Helped me make the right choice. They can’t give advice but they did make every question very clear without rushing me.

Very highly recommend the process of getting insured. Hopefully I’ll never find out how the claims works :-)

Have been using Happy place for 5 years , never had a claim so can’t comment on that but always helpful and friendly on the phone when renewing policy .

Pleasant and helpful customer service and competitive premium

I took out caravan insurance with Happy Place Insurance as my previous insurers could no longer arrange 'new for old' cover due to my caravan now being five years old. Happy place insurance provided me with 'new for old' cover at a very competitive price and the advisor I spoke to was very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, the documents did not arrive in the post as requested (although they had been emailed to me) so I phoned and spoke with them today and spoke to another very helpful advisor who confirmed that they had been posted out previously but she would resend them as they should have arrived by now. I cannot fault the Customer Service received so far..

Happy Place didnt cancel the policy as requested

Happy Place could not match my caravan insurance so I moved it to RIPE. When I cancelled the policy over the phone they failed to actually cancel it and also failed to inform Premium Credit so payments continured until I cancelled the Direct Debit myself. Premium Credit then sent me warning letters and overdue charges. Whilst Happy Place reps have been helpful and accommodating in resolving the problem, it shouldnt have happened in the first place. So whilst i had no problems setting up the insurance the administration to close it down was poor.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We note originally you had agreed to renew your policy so by the time you called a day before your renewal date to cancel an instruction to premium credit to renew had already been sent. But there was an adviser error in not actioning your cancellation. We apologise wholeheartedly for this. As you say the policy has been cancelled and all charges returned.
