Its not often you can right a good review about an Estate Agent but i can honestly say, Hardisty in Ilkley have been very professional and consistent in finding a buyer for my house.

They have done viewings 7 days a week and arranged a time that suits the buyer every time they have requested.

They go the extra mile to sell your property and keep you updated after every viewing with feedback.

It is very easy to write a five-star review when the service truly is exemplary, and that was absolutely our experience here. From start to the point an offer was agreed, everything felt collaborative, calm and well handled. I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about anyone on the team in Ilkley.
Jack was our designated agent for viewings and, although we never actually met in person, his personality came across clearly in every interaction. He was warm, professional and empathetic, with just the right touch of humour. He struck the perfect balance of being prompt without ever feeling pushy, sociable while respecting boundaries, and always direct and transparent. When we needed guidance, he had thoughtful opinions, but never pressured us.
Every member of staff who showed people around our home was friendly, professional and respectful, and the whole process felt organised and reassuring from beginning to end.

I used Hardisty to help purchase a house they were selling.
I rang up and initially spoke to Ben Crowther who arranged a viewing for me and my partner within a couple of days.
He helped and guided us through the buying process and helped us make an offer resulting in us having it accepted.
I would like to personally thank him for being professional, approachable and helping us successfully secure our new house.

Lehila was fantastic in helping our sale and buy progress as quickly as possible. She kept in touch weekly with ourselves and our buyers, keeping everyone in the loop. She was extremely professional and worked with all parties to ensure a smooth transaction.

Through my first house buying experience Roxy at Hardisty's was superb. It felt like she was on top of everything and followed up frequently. She definitely helped speed up the process where it was sticky, and was calm and professional the whole time.

I bought my house through Hardisty and Lehila was my point of conveyancing contact. She was absolutely brilliant. I got regular updates, returned my calls and always patiently explained everything to me. I had four chains and the whole process was quite smooth and faster than I expected. Everything from their part was absolutely brilliant, especially Lehila.

Only one thing to mention, if they refer Holden Smith Solicitors (Alex) as conveyancing solicitors, do not go with them. They are terrible, I lost a good amount money and time.

Unfortunately, not a GOOD review as not a good experience TBH.
The whole process took from 12th August until last week in total.
Poor communication, not just from estate agent to ourselves, but from estate agent to and from solicitors.
Being repeatedly asked for things we had already supplied, delays in responding and little updates in progress proved frustrating. We wont name individuals for we feel it is simply the office in general. Would not use Hardisty again nor Holden Smith solicitors!
