My issue with this company is with the catalogues I have subsequently been sent after having placed an order (incidentally the items I purchased were not fit for purpose). Some of their products are of an "adult" nature and this shocked me as my grandchildren could easily have seen them, if I hadn't had a look through the catalogue first.
I have never come across a company like this. They are making me laugh. I'm ok because I can get my money back through PayPal. It is NOT FUNNY that vulnerable people paying by cheque are having so many problems. What company holds the delivery back because one item is out of stock ? Here in 2019 companies refund and ship items. Meanwhile in 1819 Healthy Living are making excuses saying its company policy. It is stated. Buried deep in their terms. I'm cancelling it because from other reviews it sounds like their products are tat. Please if you are reading this avoid these muppets. Go online. There are some excellent companies providing not only a sterling service but the same kind of products except theirs will last longer than the time it takes to get it out of the bag !!
Despite the reviews and the apparent problems some others have had, I have had the most polite and co-operative responses from Rebecca which has restored my faith in modern online businesses.

I ordered a few items from this company around the £49.00 mark,they contacted me through e-mail to tell me one of the items were not in stock, stupid me decided to wait till that item was in stock, how i wish that i looked on here, yes you guessed it i am still awaiting for my order to arrive, I have sent them numerous e-mails and they have not responded, so i have had to go through paypal to get my money back maybe that will spark them into to taking action but what i read on here thats very doubtful, I maybe disabled Healthy living direct but i am not stupid, I will either get my order or money back and i will never forget that i have spent this kind of money. If you get anything in magazines throw them in the bin,if you really want something from theses muppets look on ebay as probs much cheaper and better quality i wish i had. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE
Ordered a few items but they told me out of stock. So I had to wait for two weeks. Waited and then I had to call them again and she told me that the items were in stock and I will get them by the end of the week. It didn't happen. So I had to call them again and they told me again that the items were out of stock and I had to wait again. I cancelled the order and she told me I will get a cheque in the post. Nothing came. Called them again, apparently refunded me by card. However, they didn't refund me for all the telephone calls I had to make due to their incompetency. They were not even prepared to listen to my complaint! Will not use this company again.
If I could give no stars I would. I ordered over £100 of items at the start of this month and two emails later i'm still waiting because one item wasn't in stock. Even worst this site caters primarily for disabled and elderly customers but maybe it's ok for them to wait.
Some handy hints for you HLD
a) don't let people buy it if you have no stock, your inventory should be linked to your online product catalogue
b) if it's out of stock tell the customer IMMEDIATELY and ask what they would like to do
c) NEVER hold up the entire order because one item isn't in stock without checking what the customer wants.
Not a reliable company, as they fail to respond to emails. They state that they offer a satisfaction guarantee on all products, and yet they offer NO FREE returns. I purchased a demister for the car, but it doesn't de mist the car and they provide no free returns, but it would send about £8 to return so I thought I'd write an honest review about Healthy Living Direct instead. The delivery charges are expensive, and the products are not always that great. Also the collagen gel doesn't 'eliminate bags' as it states on the actual bottle and its description.
I ordered an item that was apparently unavailable so was sent a child's toy instead!!! On phoning the company was told to take it to a charity shop and they would refund postage with a cheque( no charge for the Toy!!!) I know what they were doing for along with toy was a large amount of advertising leaflets from other companies

Absolutely disgusting just ordered 2 pairs of insoles for my bad feet an what a shock I got when they arrived, just two bits of cheap plastic no use at all there is no padding as the advert claimed both pairs gone straight in the bin nothing but rubbish I cannot believe this company are allowed to get away with the shoddy goods they are selling...they will take your money an give you junk.......AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!.

Very unhappy with Healthy living. Customer service communication does not exist as was stated by another customer. You have to do all the chasing of orders no apologies, no explanations, no acknowledgement of item not availability or delay in fact NO COMMUNICATION at all. I have hi-lighted this with the company for the management to take not but they obviously don't care. Bombarded by unwanted post by them and an additional companies - RETURN IT ALL BACK TO THEM . I post it back ,i'm fed up of it it's not requested and i shall never order from them again.
Order took weeks to arrive. 4 pairs of trousers for my Mum who has Alzheimer's, 2 pairs were correct, the other were not only not the colour ordered but a different size! I tried for 3 weeks to get a return label and a refund. Eventually got a refund, £2.00 short of the amount due. I am still waiting for a response and the money 3 weeks on. If I could give zero stars I would.
I have never had such dreadful service from a company.I ordered £25.95. Worth of goods at the beginning of September and after they cashed my cheque, nothing. I have tried to email but the email,address is invalid. I have written to ask for my money and they sent me a cheque for £2.99. I can’t get throughon the phone. I urge people to never send money to these people. They don’t seem to know what they are doing.

Weeks and weeks ago (so long ago I can’t remember when) I sent an order for a safety bath mat. I have received nothing, I have phoned at great cost being held on for ages and then disconnected. The Trading Standards people need to get involved regarding how this company is exploiting customers.
If you don't want to go tearing your hair out stay away from this company they don't answer Emails or their phone ,no problem taking your money for goods they dont

Very poor, ordered in September good not arrived till a month later, I rang after 2 weeks said an item was not in stock, I asked dispatched what is, waited again rang again got same answer. 85% Bad Reviews says it all. Do not use this company. I agree with all the other bad reviews. Take your money, but hold orders up, just for 1 item being out of stock, which you don't know till you ring them. It was in stock when i placed the order over the internet. Why can't they send you an e-mail or letter like other companies. There lack of communication is terrible. I have sent a letter of complaint, but have not had a reply. I probably never will.
I ordered a clip on magnifying set for my elderly mother along with 2 bird feeders and 3 bags of feed. Order placed 15.10.18 and received on 22.10.18. 1 bag of bird feed short, and despite the advertisement advising free delivery (normally £4.99) I was charged for delivery. As I write this having spoken to their "Customer services", I am advised "thanks" by email for my further order? (the missing bird feed), but no chance of getting the free delivery as I apparently did not use their "Media Code". I advised their CS that I would post this and hence I will never deal with this Mickey Mouse company again. Whether I get the missed bird feed will only be seen if it comes (obviously now with free delivery).
